Tracy could have healed Robins mom's cancer, instead gave them a stack of money.
She probably couldn't. Cancer is quite a bit different from any other disease in that the only reason why tumors can grow large enough to kill you is that your own boby doesn't recognize the cancerous cells as a disease that endangers your body, otherwise they would destroy them long before they could become a problem. If your own immune system doesn't realize that the cancer is a disease, chances are that Tracy's power couldn't either.

It's not a plot hole, the reason the pills have trackers in them is because they are meant to study the effects of the pill, the entire reason why the pills are in circulation is to test them and refine the formula, without the biotracking they would have no results to refine the formula with

The randomness is only on the first use, after that they get the same one every time they take the pill.

@jhbonarius I think it's supposed to be animals taken to their extreme. Some animals can increase their body temperature at will, which turns into self-ignition whilst others can lower their body temperature which turns into freezing. I think the plant healing one is the only one that breaks from that pattern which is probably because she was born with the power and the guy in the presentation did say they made the pills using animal DNA.
