Nice jumps! I love the 5ive T. I think a lot of us noticed that 2 headlight caps popped off at 5:57 and you can see them at 6:22 and at 7:05.

Bought the 5T three months ago and have had the most fun
Love losi products! used to race a jrxt professionally in the 90s and won the north American coca cola challenge with this truck. I have a whole room full of trophies I won with this thing.

Also, just a side note, but the place is looking pretty good man! Definitely done a bunch of clean up and I think I see some new orange fencing (maybe snow fence) around your track as well. Looking pretty good man!
Great vid mate.... As usual. If that gap is 20ft it looks like you were getting 30ft+ most of the time... Which is impressive from an rc that big and heavy! You are tempting me yet again to look at losi 5's!! Nice1

It really is pretty insane how much abuse these beasts can take even fully stock. The chassis braces are about the only absolutely needed upgrade for airing it out...keeps your driveshafts from getting the wicked wobble. Always love all of your project large vids. Have to admit I've attempted to best your high jumps video...without success. Nothing broken, but just not nearly as much air as you were getting. (Also was missing a cool "pyrotechnics" show to accompany it..lol)
***** when I run my scx10 in the sand and dirt I used my compressor with a small air nozzle and it gets It really clean. Blows most if not all dirt off the bearings and whatever else its stuck to.
I would like to get a 1/5 for my 17th birthday, what should I get??? The Losi's sound awesome, but what about the HPI??'suggestions would be awesome

Hey didn't you Broke any axels or shafts with those massive jumps??? Cuz I have a summit traxxas and I broke 7 rear axels....
Great Jumps for that big beast, It's funny how you said you could adjust the jump or back off on the throttle a bit, then never backed off on the throttle 1 bit ha ha, love your style man!

How about a video of the cleaning of this monster. I am used to my Traxxas rigs and those are easy, garden hose and simple green. My new 5ive T is finally on its way (yeah for me) and would like some tips on clean it. Thanks
I have been watching you videos and I like them and I have traxxas stampede and I was wondering if it would be worth it to get integy shocks and arms for it. also if they were a trusted brand

Do you let go of the throttle right before you hit the ramp or during mid ramp or as soon as it's off the ramp ?? I been practicing my jumps w my 5t and when I hit full throttle I'm flipping it. So I been working on tryna figure out how to.jump it and land well but get that top flight

love the truck I've just got a very cheer ao yama 26 second hand only had two tanks through before we got bloody mentle thing but can't expect£150 stock to put up with the levels your beastuies do bro keep the good work up I'm in uk
I know it cant be the motor or anything mechanical because the truck is fine. I guess the servo doesnt draw much power?

For rigs like these what is the best way to clean them??? I have a 1/10th scale ExceedRC Nitro Short-course truck and I need to clean it but I am not entirely sure how. I have thought about pressure washing it but am unsure. I know how to clean individual parts like Air filters and such but am unsure how to clean the rig as a whole. ty for your reply.
What I like to do it use an old tooth brush and some warm soapy water. And the help from a cleaning spray :)

Hi Medic, i have a good question for you. i have an older tmaxx 2.5r, and am having issues with it. i can get it to idle and run at half throttle, but when i hit full throttle, it bogs and quits. i have tried everything from richening the mixture to leaning it out, after letting it warm up for 5 minutes or so. Any thoughts you have would help greatly. Hi speed at 4 1/4 turns out, low speed at 2 1/4 out. Fellow Canuk and rc enthusiast.
I had the same problem with my t3.0, odds are its just the fact that the transmission is meshed too tight, so if you seperate the gears by just a little it should free it up, or bad bearings on the spur gears could also be the problem, I would check that

i know a way to stop you landing flat because i have a nitrotek bug crusher when you jump don't put your finger on the gas and it will slow you down somehow so you land either back or front wheels it seems to help me with my jumps

***** Hey, I did some research on that Losi XXL and I think I know what your problem is. The way the spark plug wire mounts, its hooked onto the engine with a metal hook and it just rests ontop of the spark plug connector and provides a spark, with a big jump like this, what is happening is similar to what happened to your losi in this video, the spark wire is coming up and loosing connection with the spark plug, stopping the engine, but because of the hook, its immediately pulled back down onto the plug so it starts right back up again.
I actually OWN the CDI losi used on the truck from when I tried to do a gas conversion on one of my nitro engines, which failed miserably. But beside the point.
I am pretty sure its just the plug wire loosing connection like what is happening on your 5T, so you might want to look into a way of putting some rubber grommets around the porcelain section of the plug, anything to give it a snugger fit inside that wire connector will help it out tremendously.
Great advice! When I get the new steering hub, Ill look at that. I was sure that was the problem as well - just haven't looked at it yet! :)
@@TheRealRCSparks or put a ziptie around the rubber portion or crimp the metal holder that holds the spark plug a little more.
