Thanks for your kind words Rob. Yes this is a winner with new and experienced flyers alike and as you can see is good without the tail in lower winds too! We are always pleased to help promote good kites!
Mine has a tendency to nose dive to the right, in a swirly unstable wind, without the tail. I put a cap on the nose because the kite can hit the ground nose first hard at times. I always make sure the spars are in the selves as far as they can go, and snick em closed. I am not always sure where to adjust the keel line.
Thanks for your feedback Derrick. We wouldn't fly ours without the tail unless there was only a gentle breeze not strong enough to lift the kite with tail attached.
@@CloseEncounters That's just me being a wise guy. For I myself am an odd duck. I actually like the design quite a bit, except for all the black. I never felt black was a good color for kites. Now, if it came in different colors, I would definitely consider it. Blue skies and fair winds!
Thanks for that info, but I already found this kite on the site of Metroplis here in Germany, which is a more appropriate source for me. It is announced at a price of about € 95,-
This is a nice happy video with some excellent pilots …. I think I’m going to watch this a few more times. Thanks again
Very nice indeed. A good looking flyer with or without the tail.
Great flying kite one of my favorites. Were sold out everywhere but HQ just did another run of them. Great video too.

So nice to see a new design. This kite looks great. Personally I like it without that tube tail but I am sure it will be popular.
It's now in the kite stores
Lovely video and great pics ... I think I am going to get one of these.
I have the smaller one too. I am thinking of selling them both.
@@CloseEncounters Why? What might the price be?

Superb flying, but how to make that kite..?
Thanks - I don't do fiddly so even if Rainer Hoffmann gave me the plans it wouldn't get made here, Not sure that they are still on sale either.
Great design. Could soon be in my kite bag, too... ;-)
