Shocked that a gator will eat somebody? What has happened to common sense in the world.
Ha! Ha!🤣😂
It's very rare for alligators to attack, we swim in lakes bayous that probably have some in it
Some idiots had probably been feeding it alligators who been feed by people are way more likely to attack humans because people feeding males then see people as a food source
@@TEXAS713EDITION O.K. but you be "SHOCKED" if one tried to eat you that was my point. It's like the woman on the Weather Channel who was so shocked a tornado hit her house in OKLAHOMA tornado alley.
@buzztp5119 well technically the gator didn't eat her he just killed her
Stay away from the waters edge and keep your pet far away, too.
Yes this exactly. Reminds me of that footage of that other elderly woman that took her dog to waters edge, gator is about to attack dog, catches her off guard and she falls down and becomes gator prey. So sad but people can't forward think all that can go wrong so they go to the edge thinking it will be perfectly fine and not slippery.
Gators come on land......
@@cavalierfan2008 yes but they're better in water
These people seem really casual about an alligator walking around 🤷♀️
I've been down where they exist. Alligators don't come towards people but it's wise to keep vigilant so as to not walk up on one and scare it. It could attack out of fear, then.
My Mom sent me a picture of an alligator in the middle of her street. Wow!
I’m from Florida. If a pothole is big enough, there’s probably a Gator in it. That’s just life in the south. 🤷🏼♀️
Well, technically, with all this residential and commercial development we are pushing, we are probably encroaching on what was once their stomping grounds. To them, we are the intruders. Hard to get mad when we are the ones forcing them to deviate from their normal behavior, food source, and environment
when you live with the wildlife, it's "c'est la vie." otherwise you have no wildlife.
Yea, these people are called Americans.
I don't understand why people build house near an alligator infested area
Me either. Had a house ten yrs. On intracoastal waterway. Had alligators in the bay. Kept my distance with much respect.
HELLO!
Yep! They continue to do it and the gator always loses.
I cant believe nobody even thinks the women could have had a health issue,
such as heart attack, epilepsy, or even DEMENTIA or so many other ailments that could make her immobile or incapable of running away.
Or she could have been dead already before the gator found her.
I mean nobody has brain to think over these comment section?
Ummm true but you know we all think the worst first.
We’ll have wait to see, she is a divorcée with a big trust fund. Law enforcement just wanna make sure no fowl play is involved.
One thing for sure, she got the latest Lacoste sleeping bag.
Do not underestimate a wild animal any time
I'll keep that in mind next time I'm near Baltimore, DC, Philly or Detroit. Oh...did I mention southide Chicago?
So is the alligator got arrested and charged for the woman's murder?
No, they shot it.
He got Capital Punishment!!
He dead b
Yes he was sentenced to death...
In Alligator News: "A bunch of apes came out of nowhere and just killed billy, dragging his lifeless body away from home." 💯
LOL! Fockin' Bill 🐊
Well played Sir.
My mama said alligators are ornery because they got all them teeth and no toothbrush
Medulla oblongata 😂
Don't DARE people to go skinny dipping in the water.....especially when they are DRUNK....lol.
My in-laws moved to Largo Florida in the 80's..... we went to visit..... they said the alligators lounging in the back yard "won't bother you"😅🤣😂.... we visited once.🙄🙏❤
smart
Quite a few reported in the news of alligators eating people. It actually is not uncommon. Very sad.
Imagine living somewhere with dinosaurs just swimming/walking around you at all times. I'm good
It's pretty common in the south, which is why it's shocking to hear that something like this could actually happen. They don't usually walk towards people, The hissing sound they make is enough of a warning to let you know they are near.
They are ambush predators. They only hiss when they aren't hunting and want to warn other animals to stay away. But if they are wanting to eat you, you won't hear them hissing. You'll just seem them come bursting out of the water toward you. They are very fast, and unless that 60 year old woman is in remarkable shape for her age, she never had a chance.
Terrible, poor lady.
Ehhh I think we might need to at least ask the husband some questions as well… gators are opportunists sure.. but something seems odd🤷♀️
I am so sorry to hear that 😢😢😢😢
That’s a great question they don’t know how the lady died after they found her in an alligators mouth
Honey the lady could have been stabbed, shot, or strangled and then thrown in the lake. The autopsy could confirm the method of how she initially died.
@@bilialeilan9038how when it was in, you know what nvm
So very sad!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow an alligator eating a human being, what a shocking new discovery.
Woman,(RIP) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☮🦋🌸💗🙏🏻🙏🏻⚘
🐊
So sad 😞
The loss of a human is tragic, the so call experts advise is tragic.
She was down there being nosey
I wonder if she was feeding the gator when she was attacked.
Dear Watson. It is elementary.
Poor alligator, just doing the alligator thing and get killed because it found food. Before killing it determine if it killed the victim or if the victim was dead prior and just food. Then remove to a different location away from public or a sanctuary. Think Before acting!!!!
Go back under your rock
@@wordsofourtestimony6390 Exactly! Who gives a f about alligators.

shoot it and shoot it again.
Why even move in a area or a community like that What do they mean they never bother nobody smh 🤦♀️
😢
😮 oh my gosh that’s so sad?!
she went missing because old al missed his last meal
life always makes us miss something
Will the autopsy be able to detect the woman's common sense? Situational awareness?
The gator is being punished for eating something it was fed. This lady was killed. Look for suspects!!
OH LAAAAAAWD 😢
😢😢😢
What promoted anyone to look in the alligator’s mouth??
*prompted
They were prompted by their functional sense of vision, more than likely.
They were tryin to help the gator brush his teeth cuz he seemed so ornary
Did you miss the part when they said they saw her body hanging out of its mouth?
Rip
Poor alligator. It's completely possible someone dumped this lady there and he was just being a gator and cleaning up nature.
The Armand Bayou Nature Preserve is where the animals live. Unfortunately, the state of texas does not care about anything or anyone whom does not make money for them. Alligators are an attraction, but the state does not care if they all die. I am sorry for the people who love her, but c’mon. I attended graduate school at the University of Houston Clear Lake, and the campus is a part of the nature preserve. There are signs EVERYWHERE. I know her neighborhood: there are signs everywhere.
So sad.Pray for that woman's soul and for all her family that have to deal with this terrible tragedy🙏
The woman is deceased friend, she is in one of 2 places. Pray for her family
I feel so lucky to live in Indiana.
So either she was murdered and then fed to a alligator
The alligator found her dead due to a heart condition
For some reason she was out alone in a place where predators like the alligator exist. Who don’t do this out of hate but out natural function.
Why more belts boots and wallets from gators are not being produced is mind boggling
She probably fell in and the gator took advantage of the situation. Then he was shot for doing so. But the autopsy should reveal if this in the case or this was really a Krueger Gator.
Don't tell me she tried to feed it? Hopefully, that wasn't the case.
Great way to get away with murdah
I really hope she didn’t feel much if any pain. 😢 There’s a possibility she may have passed away and the alligator found her body? 🤷♂️
Lol People who live on that community act weird.
Wonder if she fell in
Extinction
That happened in Florida too-weird
Not weird at all. It’s a part of living in the south. They’re everywhere. You’ve just got to use common sense, something that is in short supply these days.
@@jenn_gulf_coast4644 I lived in Florida my whole, long life and have never heard of someone randomly finding dead people in alligator's mouths. Second time in the last few months or so.
It's ridiculous they shot the gator and took it out of the water
Yep. Most alligators don’t swallow their food
I'm from Missouri, show me...

Surprised? Ugh...
where is her little dog?
Theres a Gator in the bushes and hes calling your name….😊
dont pet the alligators
Its not that shockibg. They are wild animals, be smart and aware and distant at all times or risk your life. Pretty simple. Also maybe the smart community should put a fence up around the water source ....
I want to see what the Autopsy says, she has a trust fund, divorcee with a lot of cash to spend.
I didnt know alligators lived in Texas!
we even have Bengal tigers in Texas !!!!!
They live near a huge alligator and they are expect not to be eaten by the gator 😅
We know she was caught by the alligator. She was walking too close to the water and was snatched. We saw this same thing happened last year in South Carolina. I’ll never understand how Americans flirt with wild life and always shocked when someone gets K. Stay away from these areas. If you live there use caution. Never think it will never happen to me. 2 young men last month one K by a grisly bear, eaten by the bear and his brother brutally wounded. I am not hiking on a trial in wild life. That’s $tupid.
Ooooooomy😢
"ANY buhdee"
Sure she wasn't push in
Yep, all these bayou links up eventually to ocean and its swampy. Gators go where they want. Floods bring them to new areas as well so eyes sharp.
Might be a murder cover up

It has not been determined that the alligator actually caused her death.
So cool you guys! 😁
Someone saw a movie and got an idea
Have a good day
Stupid to live in FL near a large body of water … I’m good in SC
Why is it both "shocking" and a " common ocurrence to see gators" seems like its one or the other.
Y’all should of learn from the women in Florida
They need to clear them out. It’s a dinosaur !
Humans are animals on the Earth just like any other animal it’s called survival of the fittest and the alligator was the fittest and he was hungry
“It was Michael Cohen”. - Donald trump.
Very sad. Yes investigate the husband.
Why
Did he dump her there before leaving for work?
@@Stratosmegas You do realize that was a question.
Really sad that they always murder the alligator after situations like this. Just transport it away and release it in a different area!
They have to recover the person's remains from inside the gator.
They shot it to stop it from doing more damage to the body and destroying possible evidence.
they have to recover the alligator because of the contents. this is more likely not an accident.
Worthless gators ..Too many of them
That alligator now has a propensity to attack or eat people. It's a threat to the public now. Just like how they put down dogs that have attacked people. They also have to exhume it's stomach content for the investigation
I didn't know there were gators i. Houston
🐊📜📖
she probably was a karen, went to pet the alligator then she became dinner
the most likely scenario is she probably had a health issue (such as having a heart attack), which made her easy prey for the alligator.
Or she could have been already immobile, or dead.
No one in there right mind would pet an alligator 🥴 most people usually trip and fall in the water and end up becoming a victim to an alligator
She probably fell in and drowned. The gator was just eating.
Hey i don't feel sorry they meat eaters.

You and the gator are both meat eaters. I bet you can eat more meat though. Especially long meat.
Build more golf courses around gator pits, you know boomers love golf courses. It's a great idea.
"An officer shot it"!? Why?? Its acting completely normal. It's her own fault for not being aware of her surroundings!

You think steak comes from humans? 😱
Were they supposed to rip the remains to shreds trying to get it out of the gators mouth? They also have to get in it's stomach to recover remains.
