About the salary, it seems the salary system in school is same with a factory in Thailand. A factory tends to pay a salary according to the Nationality.
Unfortunately teachers in Thailand are massively underpaid, it's fair to say that they do have the chance to enjoy a cheaper lifestyle somewhere in smaller towns. 🫠However, even in Bangkok, the cost of living is increasing rapidly.
This is not right!! You might not English native speakers but you must be fluent & have NO ACCENT!! Im not racism & not hateful but facts is facts!! Example, there are Nertherland speak English so good & so well but his GRAMMAR (written is lacking) & the way he/she pronounces have strong accents!! Do you think shools or student want to STUDY FROM THIS PERSON?? Theyre student & pay moneys to learn English!! Like you want learn Germany, do you learn it from GERMANY OR LEARN IT FROM A VIETNAMESE PERSON JUST STUDY GERMANY & TEACH YOU?? Im Vietnamese though 🇻🇳 Example, I dont might MEXICAN AMERICAN, INDIAN AMERICAN or CHINESE AMERICAN, KOREAN AMERICAN BORN & RAISE IN US, UK, CAN, they’re speak English from theirs kids & speak it as their first language!! But if theyre INDIAN living in India learn & speak English directly fews years & study aboard in US/UK/CAN college/uni (i mean English country) they still have DAMM THICK ACCENTS!! They might good at writing & grammar but for accents, its still very thick & harshly!! So as people pay for study, any shools or English center hired non English speakers, im dissapoints & wont chose study there!! This have nothing to do with race or nation!! In recent years, alots of people & family, parents is care about this topic!! Before ENGLISH TEACHER IN AROUND ASIA COUNTRY IS EASY, no degrees & no certification teachers!! There is alots of bad & terrible English teacher quality & even commit crimes in their country & run away to Southeast Asia. Fews years ago till now, alots shools is changing & hired teachers with degree & teachers certificate & English native speakers!! Gorvement also have more strict laws about this. If you’re foreign & young & want to teach English in ASIA FOR LONG TERM. I suggest people go bạc to their country for couple years & study in college. In long term it will help you alots!! If you chose stay in Asia country for long years & chose teach English is your career life!! In 5-10y laters, alots Asia will focus & fix this problem & strictly on foreigners English teachers. So alots of English teachers in small English center think dont need degrees & no need to update themselves because they still can find jobs & working as English teachers already. Once day the laws chance & strictly in near future, these type of teachers will get hit & wipe out.
I think it doesn’t really matter if you don't have experience, as there are many training centers that will teach you from A-Z how to teach and what materials to use. So, even without experience, you will get some guidance. However, not all companies are like this, so I hope you will be lucky enough to find a good school.

Hi, thanks for asking! As far as I know, it is possible, but it's not easy. Apparently, the easiest way is to apply to some religious schools. In my friend's school, the principal is from Ghana, so I assume it's feasible. Good luck with your job search 💜💜
