when I started the video, I was completely lost at what this could mean. Then about 4 minutes in I see him get the seahorse without a bottle. I can only assume the worst from here

for some lore how this collab even happened was this, since both sides of chat were surprised and asked them, turns out all Bat and Nina did was ask zfg in a DM if he was up for a race which he accepted and this race happened as a result
(both of them had been improving their rando ability and thought it might be cool to do a VT vs Speed Runner I think)
(turns out zfg said it in the video at 6:10, opps at least it will be more visible)
I personally think zfg would race other people more often if their skill level is roughly the same. See for example all the "Tackling Kids" runs or races.
A deep and uplifting underdog backstory about how sometimes, even if it seems unlikely, you never know until you just try and ask.
If ZFG ever gets a Vtuber avatar, it needs to be Wind Waker Zelda with a dog's face

Just wanted to put this down somewhere, thanks to all these years of watching ZFG I finally gave an OOT randomizer a shot.
Skullsanity, shopsanity, bombchus in logic, keysanity with keyrings, all 6 trials and GREG. (GREG is a single green rupee check to unlock GT bridge, the ONLY way to unlock GT bridge)
Hadn't played OOT in around 20 years, but watched a fair bit of ZFG, and managed it in around 15 hours. Had to do a few hairs of searching up on grottos and skulltulas, but the chain of unlocks towards the end preventing me from progress were incredible:
I was floundering with middling items, but locked out of a lot (100% glitchless, although I did learn how to instant detonate bombchus with backflip), primarily due to Song of Time, Longshot and Hammer.
At this point, I had cleared all but about 4 or 5 child checks + child spirit keylocks, but they were locked behind stones (in dungeons I couldn't beat) or SoT. So I was delving through adult, trying to find ANYTHING to make a big progress leap. Because I KNEW WHERE GREG WAS. The highest goron, y'know...THE ONE THAT NEEDS SONG OF TIME?? I was so excited for a second while forcing my way through water with no longshot, no zoras, and the inner tower GS, that needs longshot to my knowledge, has a strength upgrade. Can't reach it. WELP.
Finally, my break came when I happened across Spirit keyring somewhere as adult. Lucky for me, I didn't dawdle on it too long and went to child spirit nearly instantly. On the last GS in child spirit, I got silver gauntlets. Finally, something that opens new checks! Unfortunately, I did about every silvers check I could before going back to the GTG I could BARELY MAKE A DENT IN (I'm sorry for the angry, but I never realized what a pain it is to revisit GTG so many times). And through there I found Dins. Dins finally opened Shadow for me (I had hovers, keyring and BK ages before), so I promptly cleared the hell out of shadow. Dins spike room had Megaton. Finished up shadow and, again unfortunately, decided to do all the overworld hammer checks (fire and water still give me ick from childhood so I probably put them off too much), but finally proceeded to work my way through the few hammer bits of Fire. Lo and behold, BK chest has SoT. I thank my heavens. I make my way back up, and get GREG. Hi GREG.
So now I have GT available, plus the rest of Fire and...maybe more water checks? Idk, never finished water or fire, and not sure if I was full locked on water because of longshot missing or if I could've done 1 or 2 more. I need to find longshot to get goldens to finish the trials. I decide to abandon fire and just go into GT, because this seed has been so mean so far, Longshot has to be locked in GT right? I go through all the trials I can, nothing. I leave, and go to restart fire temple before my brain slaps my own brain. I forgot the scrubs in GT, so I double back and the 4th scrub has longshot. SALVATION! I dip into water for the goldens, finish up the trials, beat ganon for the first time in 2 decades, and am looking at the The End screen.
I know it's a rant and a half, and prolly annoying to read, but it was a heck of a first try for me and I think not the last.
That's some hard settings for your first seed but congrats on finishing it.

Definitely wasn't expecting this collab, but I've watched Bat do a few MMR runs before so this was pretty cool.
Now I know that the best way to get the girls is to become a pro speedrunner.
There's a weird sort of charm to these VTuber races, I hope we get at least one or two more, but I'd love a bunch of 'em.
