Remember in the Switch Presentation when Koizumi was big chilling on the couch? Just put the mouse mode on your leg? I think it'll be fine and optional in almost all cases. I'm trying it right now I think it's going to be just fine and I'm very excited!
I bet everyone is pointing this out but I’m SURE you can use any control scheme you like on Prime 4. Also if the mouse is real I’m really hoping for more than a joycon strap to control it. I want a real mouse housing peripheral for the joycon.
The thing the switch 2 joy-con connected to was the wrist straps. But you could make accessories that it snaps into, like for example have the joy-con snap into a gun trigger accessory - you can aim around with motion controls and fire off the fun using the actual gun trigger from the accessory - so you are hold the joy-con like a gun this way and using it as such. This is something you could do with metroid prime 4 (will never happen) is make a samus arm cannon where you stick your hand and arm into and you snap on the joy-con to it, now you can charge, aim, and shoot your arm cannon in real life and in game at the same time for some seriously bad action!

those connectors are the wrist straps, they legally have to come with the controllers for liability reasons. i think the mouse function is gonna be an optional control setting for people who are more used to PC gaming. and i play on the same couch i use my mouse on and it's pretty comfy while leaning back and using the couch arm/cushion next to me
Both controllers having that optical sensor is great for both left and right handed people as it comes standard and would be one of the default settings for games compared to optional peripheral devices for specific games that would have to be bought separately or included physically with the required game.
You do realize that games can easily offer multiple control options? PC games offer that since the early 90s. I also wouldn't assume that the switch is used a lot more in handheld mode than docked mode. Everyone who isn't homeless usually prefers to game on the tv whenever possible.
KBM is super precise but it is SO BAD for your hands and wrists. There are some newer ergonomic concepts that could eliminate injuries from kbm use, but nothing is perfect. Part of the problem is the perpendicular action of a mouse button to the sliding plane keeps it stable. Vertical mice are super ergonomic but they usually have the button action parallel to the sliding plane. This could work a bit better, since the triggers are pushed toward the palm for action. I think there's a vertical mouse that does the same but it's by some no name company. Also, I do sometimes play my PC games from my couch, my sofa has a flat enough surface that it works but yeah. It's generally not something you would do without a lap table.
Lets be honest Nintendo has made a controller with the most functionality with the joy cons then all other consoles maker. They have so many sensor in such a small package and they continue adding even more functionality to allow different types of game play. We should appreciate it instead of dogging Nintendo
@ no brother did not mean to insult you. People in general. Just saying joy con are more awesome than people let on. Should’ve just phrase it like that. I actually enjoy your speculation on the use case. No one has gone deep on the use case like you gave.
I use a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse on my couch exclusively. You need a quality mouse with a good sensor and a couch made of good material that doesn't cause a lot of friction. But yes the mouse functions perfectly find on the couch surface next to you when sitting/laying back. Try it some time, It might open up what nintendo has in mind for mouse functionality on switch. I'm also thinking that little adaptor thing the joycon goes into would make the sliding on surfaces much smoother. Plus the actual gyroscopes and motion detection within the joycon could aid in being more precise when using the mouse on a nontypical surface like a couch, or coffee table.
One more thing. There were two mice*? in the trailer together. That could mean dual wielding guns, It's all very new and exciting whatever they have cooking up with this stuff.
I do really think this is similar to the wii remote and nunchuk setup one joy con is the nunchuk and the other is aiming but instead of pointing at the screen you would be dragging it across a surface. Also it's possible that the top usb c port could be connected to a Nintendo keyboard and your joycon would be the mouse.
To a point think about a wheel attachment for when you using the joy cons 2 in your hand and for the menu select or weapons you slide the wheel for it? A game like Zelda that just came out would be perfect for this
As a mainly PC gamer I'm super excited for the mouse functionality, as I mostly played my Switch docked on the same desk as my PC setup so it'll be as seamless of an experience as it could ever be for me. Though, I must also say, I HOPE the input latency is not horrible like it was with the Switch 1 Joycons because it's super easy to tell when it's high on a mouse.
I'm sold on the right hand being the fulltime mouse and the left hand being used conventionally. I hope it gets a Baldurs Gate 3 port with mouse controls. That game is just flat out better with a mouse. That said, I love your content and absolutely share your excitement for these new features.
And don't forget motion controls! They could still utilize the motion sensors while using the mouse mode so that it could sense the orientation and velocity of the controller while moving the pointer or first person view.
Lol seriously you spend half of the video to think about how they can use the mouse... it will be one of the possibility to play that's all. Everyone has a table in front of his TV. On the remake you can use motion like mp3, 2 sticks, and 2 sticks + motion (last is the best. And especially I tabletop mode that's so great
I think you're overthinking it, I look at it as just another way of playing. Giving people more options is not a bad thing. Also, there's more people than you realise, that play sat in front of a monitor.
The mouse controls will probably be one possible option from several. Maybe Nintendo can win over some PC players or young gamers that play their consoles in their rooms or college dorms where the desk is usually the only option they have. In the end, this will expand the range of games that can be played on the Switch 2 which is always a good thing:)
Really intrigued for the mouse functionality, as I mostly played my Switch docked on the same desk beside my PC. Pikmin 5 or Metroid Prime 5 with Joy Cons + mouse controls could potentially be so goood.
Dude I was thinking about this as well. The mouse would be great for FPS games and Metroid Prime 4 could demonstrate that on Switch 2. I myself am more of console and handheld gamer rather than a PC gamer. But it would be interest to have one joycon for analog control and the other for mouse control. Let's how it works out. Also side note, I wouldn't be surprised if they called the new Switch 2 wrist straps and mousestraps lolz.
Id have to believe that if there are mouse controls implemented into first person shooter games… they would have multiple control options. Me personally, I have a big sectional couch with large armrests that would easily accommodate a mouse pad. Mouse controls are far superior for aiming, mini games and menu manipulation and if given that option I would absolutely design my setup to take advantage of that.
The simple solution is "control options". Couchers be couchin Mousers be mousin Pointers be pointin I would definitely try mouse with MP4, could be fun, even if just for short periods at a time. Love the video!!
Options? Multiple choices? That's black magic sorcery for the majority of console-only folks! They cannot grasp that no one will be forcing them to play with the mousecon. All this panic is in vain. Just read other comments. No one here has ever used a pc for anything because pcs are obviously very exotic devices.
YES YES YES YES Even better? I know this is crazy but... can we like.. plug in another wireless Logitech mouse with a USB C plug... could that work too? ;)
The problem I have with the mouse thing is it basically forces you to use the mouse in online shooters. Unless they set weird restrictions for the mouse. Like no mouse in online mode or something. Cause you have to be sitting at a desk to use the mouse mode, but most of us are on the couch or on the go. So you can’t play fps multiplayer unless you’re at a desk haha
This is just wrong tho. Playing shooters with a standard controller grants you the benefit of aim assist which isn't better than keyboard and mouse but it makes the play style perfectly viable and Nintendo's only shooter already has motion controls that are just as intuitive as mouse and keyboard already so I don't forsee this being an issue
@ so, you might be right. I’m not totally sure how aim assist compares to keyboard and mouse. I adore motion controls, and I really think it does close that gap at least a bit. I guess we’ll have to see. Hopefully you’re right 👍🏻 the only fps I’ve played with keyboard and mouse was Combat Evolved when it first came out haha but I always heard the master race talking about mouse being soooooo much better 🤷🏻♂️
You really need to think more about it 😂 Or just read other comments. This "problem" only exists in the minds of people who somehow managed to have never used a mouse their entire lives.
@ well no, pc players also talk about it all the time haha and it doesn’t really have to do with whether or not you’ve used a mouse, it’s more about how much you think aim assist helps. Every game has different aim assist. And some games don’t have aim assist at all, although I think after halo, most games had some kind of assistance
I use my mouse on my leg a lot. I'll use my tiddy sometimes too. I've mainly moved to PC gaming, with a SNES 8bitdo, but there are a few games I swap between controller and mouse and keyboard on the fly. I have begged for a half controller half mouse for years.
Would personally love playing Prime 4 on a desk with the Joycon L for movement and the Joycon R for shooting as if it were a PC Mouse. It would be a game changer for shooters on the platform. Same for CRPGs and RTSs. A tier above the Wiimote Pointer in terms of precision. Edit: I really hope Prime 4 has a big online multi-player component on Switch 2 to show off how good the mouse can be. Feels like the move to blow up the IP's appeal. Especially with how Sony and MS have been fumbling not releasing full packages that have both a quality campaign + a meaningful multiplayer like they ued to back in the 7th gen.
They'll probably make a peripheral that makes the controller more mouse shape, similar to how the wii had guns and zappers. Could probably come with a small piece of wood that sat comfortably on your lap.
I saw a recent video where people talking about launch games prime 4 came up. They said that they had heard that prime 4 is still primarily being developed for the OG Switch.
We may not even need a table to use the mouse sensor feature. We may just be able to use them as wii remote and nunchuk function in our hands in mid air in our hands.
personally I don't feel the mouse function of the joy cons will be forced on 95% of the games . Perhaps just a small few select games designed specifically around the mouse function . I do feel though it will be used as a playable option on most ganes where it makes sense . In metroid prime 4's case , I would think it would just be a playable option. Many people do play there switch connected to a monitor at a gaming desk setup and so this function will probly be appreciated by most of these gamers. So I think it will just be a great option to take advantage of for those that want it , and for those who love playing games laying back on a sofa with a pro controller in hand well we will be well supported for that aswell
I also agree with this the whole point of the Joy-Cons is of how versatile they can be for several control options no matter if it’s portable or docked. It’s why I don’t think most games will demand for it but it will be an option. We already know that Prime 4 has dual analog stick controls based off of the trailer, so it won’t be forced in that game and the same goes for all of them presumably
Can anyone explain to me why so many people here have never heard of a concept called "options" or "settings"? It puzzles me how anyone could think a game will EITHER support gamepads OR mousecon. 😂 WTF?! PC games had all sorts of settings to please everyone at once since medieval times. And it isn't expensive rocket science either or 3 people studios couldn't pull it off all the time.
I personally think the optical sensor just give players another option. If the pointing controls from the wii and gyro are back then the optical isn't exactly needed.
The wiimote felt fluid in transmission from tank to shooter with excellent aim. Jacky but it worked. However I kinda don't see how a mouse-like feature would work.
Lap desks are a thing! Never used one personally but they're probably good enough to get the job done with most kinds of games, an exception being those where you probably play at a low sensitivity and move around the mouse a lot.
All I want is some form of IR controls equivalent to the Wii's or better, gyro doesn't cut it. If these "mouse controls" are very well implemented, if they work super well, and if ergonomically it's not super awkward and uncomfortable to use them then I might. Otherwise if there's no IR controls I'll just stick to dual stick to my dismay. IR controls were not only responsive (for the Prime games), but immersive as well. Nothing quite like moving Samus's arm around and being able to look at the arm cannon from multiple angles naturally as opposed to having it awkwardly fixed aiming at the center permanently. I remember just being able to aim her arm freely was one of the things I was hyped the most for prior to Prime 3's release.
No. They are not. And the IR scanner is something someone will design a mode around, which includes adding in new accessories. And what you saw was not a computer mouse, the joy-con were racing around, probably is a mode in Mario Kart. They have motion controls, that is what is going to be used. And Metroid Prime 4 is a Switch only title, same with Pokemon Legends Z-A.
Yeah... NO, the Teraleaker amended his statement and has said ZA is a SWITCH 2 GAME. Also, like I say all the time, it's too late for Prime 4 to be a SWITCH TITLE, the Switch 2 is here dude say goodbye to your precious Switch for the amount of days it has left.
Who says it's ONLY on the Switch lmao, talk about demented. By your logic, TP should've been on the GameCube BECAUSE it was a GameCube game and Pokémon BW2 should've been on the 3DS BECAUSE it was a 3DS Game..
That’s the concern! I’m super excited about the idea. I just hope they find a comfortable way to play a game like Prime with mouse controls just chilling on the couch after a long work day. 🤔
I don't understand why so many people here are concerned. Options: 1. Sit on the couch, lean a bit forward and use that little table right in front of you. Admittedly not the most comfortable option for longer sessions. 2. Sit/lie on the couch and just use the mouse on the surface of the couch, right next to your hip or upper leg. 3. Like No. 2, but you use the mouse on your upper leg. Requires high mouse sensitivity so you don't need to move it much. 4. Like No. 2, but you put a mousepad, glued to a board, under your hand. 5. Use one of those small "couch desks" for notebooks. It's not that notebook users have done all that for centuries. And another thing that most people here don't seem to get: It won't be forced upon you! Because due to the magic of technology, a game can offer multiple control schemes and let the player decide! 😮 No shit!
I bet you're right! They will play into the joke that they are mice. :D I think they will combine traditional mouse pointer controls with motion controls, so rather than just moving a point on the screen the controller can sense the orientation of the controller and the speed it's moving at etc. Maybe you could even tilt the controller while still moving the pointer.
Wiimote was a pointer, gyroscope by itself functions like a mouse, but in the air - no flat surface required to use. The problem with the wiimote is that since it relied on the sensor bar you had no good way to quickly turn around, but motion controls in the joy-con is able to do that and still have precise aiming, and precise aiming quickly.
Gyro will be even better on switch 2 guaranteed and a actual mouse that’s also a fully controller is genius and no table needed a simply tray pad to rest it on is all you need
@@audie-cashstack-uk4881 Just utilize motion controls and not bother using the ir scanner in such a stupid way. Nintendo never makes something worse than their previous generation. Motion controls has only gotten better since the wii days, even within the wii generation got itself a huge upgrade, then wii u pad they made it better, joy-con made it better, and joy-con 2 should be even better as well as hd rumble upgrades.
@@MasterStaconaI'm sorry what nonsense are you talking about, motion controls haven't gotten better not at all if anything they've gotten worse and less implemented. there is a game called ubermosh that i got on steam years ago (its on switch now too). it is a top down twinstick shooter. i remember seeing that the developer of the game suggested the best way to play is with a left joycon and the computer mouse. i can confirm it was a lot of fun.
I just took my right side joy-con and moved it around like a mouse, and it was terribly uncomfortable. You can't fit both fingers on the triggers while keeping an effective grip on the controller. Here's hoping the switch 2's controllers are designed with just enough difference to make it a comfortable way to play.
@@therealjaystone2344 A) That doesn’t guarantee MK as a launch title. And B) even if it is a launch title that doesn’t remove MP4 or another game from also being a launch title. Personally I don’t want the killer app launch title to be multiplayer-focused.
If a Switch 2 version of Prime 4 exists and it has those mouse controls that’ll give me more of an excuse to do 2 playthroughs once it comes out. One for Dual Stick, one for Mouse Controls
It looks like the new SW2 Joy-Cons has two mouse like sensors. I think the new Joy-Cons will have a 3-D like mouse where you can move an object around in a 3-D space.
I hope and pray that mp4 has online multiplayer... metroid prime hunters was so fun as a kid. To get something that harkens back to that would be a dream come true.
As someone who spends 99 percent of their gaming time at a desk, this sounds awesome to me. I can see the concern for couch gamers, but for my personal use case this would be perfect!
Even couch gamers don't have a problem. They are just too lazy to think about it for 10 seconds, and have obviously never used a mouse in their lives. There's a handful of solutions and they are all obvious.
It's a smart option. I wonder how the next Zelda game would use the mouse feature. I think the pro controller for switch 2 would use the gyro to simulate the mouse.
Think 😂😂😂😂 gyro is a defacto controller standard the tablet will have gyro each joycons 2 will have gyro the pro pad 2 will have gyro and now we have true mouse with it YOU THINK Nintendo will have gyro 😂😂😂 wow you simply don’t get it do you
@@audie-cashstack-uk4881 I understand it's available in most controllers. It was a manner of making a point. What I don't understand is why you're being an ass about it.
Motion controls are the superior way to play shooters already. The ir scanner you got to just design a game around it. Example being you have a key and a lock, you take your joy-con as the key and move it into the ground or any flat surface, when the 2 collide the key is in the lock hole, then you can rotate the joy-con 90 degrees and does the same with the key to unlock the door, then you rotate the joy-con back 90 degrees and lift the joy-con and all of this plays out in the game. This is the actual use case for something like this so it is something that can only be Switch 2 exclusive and a game to take advantage of it intentionally and purposefully. This is NOT something you can just throw onto a game and expect it to do well, or be fun or intuitive. What i want to see from devs is actually make games utilizing the joy-con in both hands in fun and creative ways because this has a ton of possibilities which the industry right now has zero creativity and cannot be bothered with making Switch exclusive game that plays utilizing split joy-con the whole time. Nintendo is the only one that is creative to utilize the uniqueness of the joy-con and we went through an entire generation without even scratching the surface of what these things can do.
@@Ghostlynotme445 between motorcycle racing where the joy-con are the handles and you twist the one joy-con to accelerate. Or parasailing where you hold the joy-con in each hand like you are actually doing the thing, push up and pull back on each joy-con to steer and such. There is so much we can do and we need exclusive games to really make this stuff come true and people thinking outside of the box for once.
I would rather point it at the screen as I’ve never been a PC gamer; but there is a much higher level of accuracy so I’m still excited! For RTS games and even something like Balder’s Gate 3 it could be a game changer at best or just a nice option at worst. Edit: I think it’s obvious that FP(S) games need this but just wanted to plainly state it.
I hope prime 4 shows up with a Metroid themed tv dinner table for docked gamplay. When using the mouse feature Complete with grapple hook cup holder and 99 energy charging stations for the joycons. Im hyped for this game!!

I’m hoping Metroid Prime 4 is THE launch title… I think Mario Kart is 2026, honestly …the mouse functionality, i have Roller Coaster Tycoon for Switch and yes, it’s frustrating without a mouse… but yea!!! The Switch2 soon… patience.
inb4 hori or some accesory brand is already working on some kind of mouse + keyboard controller that connects to the switch as if it was a pair of joycons
I just hope Nintendo releases a FREE tech demo game with the Switch 2 that has like 20 mini games or something to showcases multiple different ways that the ir scanner can do for some examples. This would help the internet's stupid think of getting their heads out of their computer mouse thinking and into actual fun gameplay opportunities.

That mouse connector thing is also the wrist strap so I’m sure it will come in the box
I can see the joycon utilizing not only the optical sensor, but also the motion sensor for a more accurate gameplay.
Lets be honest Nintendo has made a controller with the most functionality with the joy cons then all other consoles maker. They have so many sensor in such a small package and they continue adding even more functionality to allow different types of game play. We should appreciate it instead of dogging Nintendo
Are you insinuating that I’m “dogging” Nintendo? Or are you talking about people in general. Because I’m not dogging them in the slightest here.
@ no brother did not mean to insult you. People in general. Just saying joy con are more awesome than people let on. Should’ve just phrase it like that. I actually enjoy your speculation on the use case. No one has gone deep on the use case like you gave.
Well that why Nintendo show it with the attachment with the rope when it was sliding. That how you use it.
But the real question for the mouse sensor is maybe an attachment that works like a wheel in your hand for menu selection. 😅
To a point think about a wheel attachment for when you using the joy cons 2 in your hand and for the menu select or weapons you slide the wheel for it? A game like Zelda that just came out would be perfect for this
Using it for Doom will be perfect
It’s not just mouse it’s a joycon with all its triggers and buttons even a stick WITH A MOUSE and hd rumble
Very exciting prospect!
And don't forget motion controls! They could still utilize the motion sensors while using the mouse mode so that it could sense the orientation and velocity of the controller while moving the pointer or first person view.
The bigger question is: when will prime 4 launch?
Late 2025 is my bet, the Metroid Prime Trilogy book isn't releasing till Summer 2025..
That is the **REAL** question.
@@groudonor12 Pokemon Z-A is coming at late 2025
I think October. I’m not sure why but I keep thinking about that month.
3-4 weeks after launch. We’ll get the release date in the supposed Feburary direct for Switch 1 games
I bet the mice are for playing DS games.
I don't see myself using the Joycon Mouse as it looks really uncomfortable. It'd be nice if the Switch 2 is mouse and keyboard compatible 😊😊😊
But I can’t see anything that mouse can do that can’t be done using gyro
@@QnjtGWonQNqVsbYyzjx4 mouse is faster a more precise
😮Thumbnail looks sick, gj.
Thank you! I’m pretty proud of it.
I played the metroid prime trilogy exclusively on mouse, it defenitely feels better than a controller
Nintendo is coming for the Steam gamers
Nintendo will completely dominate the industry this generation
The simple solution is "control options".
Couchers be couchin
Mousers be mousin
Pointers be pointin
I would definitely try mouse with MP4, could be fun, even if just for short periods at a time.
Love the video!!
That’s exactl what’s going on yt ers always over blow everything
Options? Multiple choices?
That's black magic sorcery for the majority of console-only folks!
They cannot grasp that no one will be forcing them to play with the mousecon. All this panic is in vain.
Just read other comments. No one here has ever used a pc for anything because pcs are obviously very exotic devices.
YES YES YES YES
Even better? I know this is crazy but... can we like.. plug in another wireless Logitech mouse with a USB C plug... could that work too? ;)
Dont worry MP4 wont have a mouse function, because its a switch game. 😅
Yeah, because it's impossible to support multiple control schemes 😂
Games like Civ 7 or Baldur's Gate 3 kick ass with mouse controls; third party applications would benefit SO MUCH from this stuff
You really need to think more about it 😂
Or just read other comments.
It’s going to be for StarCraft games
Mario Party, 4 friends, 1 couch, 4 JoyCons acting as a mouse, I think this is a really bad idea. It's something that I don't even wanna try.
personally I don't feel the mouse function of the joy cons will be forced on 95% of the games .
WTF?!
I'm literally sitting on a couch playing with a mouse and keyboard right now...hahaha
Really? That’s pretty interesting. Where/how are you using the mouse? Just curious. Are you able to lean back and play while just chilling?
Lap desks are a thing! Never used one personally but they're probably good enough to get the job done with most kinds of games, an exception being those where you probably play at a low sensitivity and move around the mouse a lot.
@@Ruleof2Reviewyeah I game with a mouse and keyboard on my big screen on the couch too, it’s much comfier than a desk
@@Gardeliasyou need something like a couch master cycon, it’s full sized
@@Ruleof2Review I regularly use my pc's mouse on my desk, desk chair (which has a pillow over the arm, to be fair), and on my bed
As long as it’s an option to the player and not mandatory. Options are always good.
I love the idea of the mouse functionality but that ties you to tabletop mode or a table/desk and if that's not your main set up.....I agree with you.
Is it a copium user I hear, on the wind, past the stars, in your ear..
I'm with you on the Joy-Con mouse. I really want to know how it's gonna work if I'm just sitting on the couch. Will I need to buy a lap mouse pad??
That’s the concern! I’m super excited about the idea. I just hope they find a comfortable way to play a game like Prime with mouse controls just chilling on the couch after a long work day. 🤔
I don't understand why so many people here are concerned.
Options:
And another thing that most people here don't seem to get:
It won't be forced upon you! Because due to the magic of technology, a game can offer multiple control schemes and let the player decide! 😮 No shit!
I believe the rats will be used in the next Mario to solve puzzles
I bet you're right! They will play into the joke that they are mice. :D
I think they will combine traditional mouse pointer controls with motion controls, so rather than just moving a point on the screen the controller can sense the orientation of the controller and the speed it's moving at etc. Maybe you could even tilt the controller while still moving the pointer.
remember rob kids can be messy, remember some people threw there wiimotes at the tv by accident
MOUSE AND KEYBOARD however ALL the pro gamers use those lmao. Like MPR showed its not necessarily going to be that controller primarily, if you like the other ways use those, don't shit on something that hasn't had a chance to prove itself on Nintendo Consoles otherwise we'll go back to the OG MP1 days and those days were nothing short of awful..
@groudonor12 stop bullying people over opinions
Gyro is better than gamepad for FPS, but still vastly inferior to mouse aim.
If the mouse is something that is vital to Metroid prime 4 ima be livid
I'm REALLY pumped about the mouse, the idea of a new Mario Paint, getting to play Powerwash Sim, which I have on Switch, with a mouse is so great.
there is a game called ubermosh that i got on steam years ago (its on switch now too). it is a top down twinstick shooter. i remember seeing that the developer of the game suggested the best way to play is with a left joycon and the computer mouse. i can confirm it was a lot of fun.
I just took my right side joy-con and moved it around like a mouse, and it was terribly uncomfortable. You can't fit both fingers on the triggers while keeping an effective grip on the controller.
Here's hoping the switch 2's controllers are designed with just enough difference to make it a comfortable way to play.
Mouse functionality confirms to me more than ever that MP4 Beyond will be a launch title. You've been calling this since like 2021 lol
The first game shown is Mario kart 9 and it will be a launch title
@@therealjaystone2344 A) That doesn’t guarantee MK as a launch title. And B) even if it is a launch title that doesn’t remove MP4 or another game from also being a launch title.
Personally I don’t want the killer app launch title to be multiplayer-focused.
@pwhales. Thats true. 😉
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond will be a launch title for switch 2. I need to see what mouse style would look like.
Analog movement with mouse aiming will be the norm on switch 2 for 3rd and fps shooters ! I will get this for thos reason
I think the pro controller for switch 2 would use the gyro to simulate the mouse.

the wrist straps have mouse skates on the bottom
I like the idea of having options but if I can choose between playing with mouse or a controller, I will 99% of the time use a controller.
Dude this is 2025 devs mostly to lazy to do joy con gimmicks
I'm not even an immersive junky and now I want that more than anything.
Dude get a reality check everyone's moving on to MOUSE AND KEYBOARD..
