I've been looking at mATX for a bit now because it is more compatible thatn ITX, and that smaller footprint is always nicer in my opinion. Nice Crabpeel, checked out your channel and that video from 6 years ago on the Samsung s7 Edge brings me back lol. Good video!
i build my pc n desk setup in aug last year in black AP201, i was super tight on budget so got myself an Arc A380, i hope if my get monetised on twitch or yt channel i'll buy a 4070/5070 (if available then). i game, stream n edit on this build. i tried doing a livestream of my build on twitch but due to internet issue, i could only stream bits n pieces of build, which i later used to make a yt video which is the first video on my channel.
Nice video, was enjoyable to watch for sure. crazy that this case can fit atx psu and a 4090, while still being pretty small. Ill be doing a similar build but on am4. Do you think i can keep using my 850w seasonic psu with that gpu? Probably gonna go with a r7 5600g so nothing power hungry there.
Glad to see a similar build to mine! If I only have 2 extra fans & same AX620 cooler; should I still set an intake fan by the cpu and keep the direction of the cooler fans towards the inside of the case...then one fan on the bottom for intake and only one fan for exhaust at the top? Should they installed centered in the case (top and bottom or offset?
@@streamsandgalaxies For 2 extra fans, I'll recommend placing one as a top exhaust. If you run heavy multi core workloads that last more than 5 mins often, place the 2nd fan as intake for your CPU cooler. Otherwise mount the 2nd fan as bottom intake, preferably at the center. Depending on the thiccness of your GPU, your bottom intake fan might make some weird droning sound at higher speeds, so you'll probably want to cap the fan speed for that bottom fan.
@@AnshulGuptaAG Hello again! I forgot to mention that I have the full mesh version of the case, not the glass panel- so that means more air passively gets expelled if I do 2 fans intake & 1 top exhaust? (yes, higher workloads; I will eventually be doing video editing).
@@streamsandgalaxies Yes. For similar pressure fans, you end up creating positive air pressure in the case which should result in air venting thru your mesh side panel. I'm not sure about the exact mechanics though, might want to look up fan positioning guides on youtube for more info.
Bro what do you do for living, these specs are an envy for many pc enthusiasts. Also i couldn't for some reason find the glass side panel version in my place and had to settle for a full mesh one, its cooler in temps though, but i would have really liked a glass panel one.
When you said you shorted the 2 pins with the screwdriver to power up, I knew you were an electrical engineer, like me. LOL. Then it was confirmed on your linked-in education page. I'm not a gamer so my build was much less complex. I'm just using the i7 13700 CPU's on-board video, which is Intel 770. My case looks very empty compared to yours! I'll try to send you some pics of it. The i7 13700 was installed in an Asus Prime Z790M-Plus mobo, just using the stock Intel cooler. I might upgrade it to a better cooler though. RAM is 32GB (2x16) Corsair Vengeance DDR 5 running at 5600 Mhz. The ram's 5600 speed was set by the XMP profile. Before enabling XMP, it was running at 4800. The PSU is a Corsair RM750x, fully modular, 750W. I'm realizing now I easily could have used a 500W instead. Also installed two Samsung 990 SSDs. a 1TB (C:) and a 2 TB (D:) My last PC build was 7 years ago so I've really been enjoying all the PC tech improvements since then!
Cool. Nice to know! :D Regarding your build, the extra PSU wattage does give you headroom to add a decent gpu (maybe for deep learning or accelerating some software) and lets the PC be more silent (as the PSU fan shouldn't have to spin up as often) Since you have a Z series mobo, a better cooler is recommended. That should probably be at the top of your list for your next upgrade, if you often run CPU heavy work for anything longer than a few minutes.
Damn, I have basically the same config as your first build with amd, and my pc started having that problem of the debug led looping between ram and cpu. In my case it only happens if I change the ram speed or enable expo, but I was excited to see such a similar system with the same issue, as I thought you would have figured out what was wrong lol.
nice build! do u think its possible to put a fan in the front under the psu for another intake fan? or would it not fit? curiously asking for my own build!
Hi, Can you please send me the distance from the motherboard pins to screw mounts for 120mm fan on the bottom area. I have a B550M ds3h gigabyte motherboard which had the usb 3.0 header on the bottom. I would like to know if i can fit the cable and install 2x Arctic P12 120mm fans. I would highly appreciate your effort. Thanks in advance.
I'm experiencing a similar problem with AM5 motherboards. I purchased a Gigabyte B650M motherboard and a Ryzen 7 7700X processor. Currently, I'm awaiting warranty support in Brazil. Frustrating, isn't it? --'

For getting full multi core performance, I'm pretty sure that a 360mm radiator is almost compulsory for 13th gen i7 and i9. This case supports a 360mm radiator, but that requires a lower PSU mount, which reduces the max GPU length. You can make it work by using an SFX PSU, but then the included cables might be too short and you might need some cable extensions. I decided to stick to good 'ol air cooling for now.
My CPU is not the best pairing for the 4090 but I game exclusively at 4K 120 Hz, where the system is GPU bottlenecked. The i7 has the same 8 P-cores as the i9. The boost clocks are slightly lower, but that should be fine for most cases.
CPU Temps are under 80C when playing ghost of Tsushima at 4K 120fps. It only thermal throttles on all core CPU loads, which are quite rare for this system right now. The thicc 4090 also has no problems staying cool due to getting cool air from the 2 intake fans

@@veerasekar You do you. But that's totally unnecessary. Classic cooling is more than enough. Wasting that amount of money and time for most likely no more than a degree cooler is pointless.
The case fits a single 3.5-inch hdd and 3 2.5-inch ssds. The 3.5 inch drive won't fit in my setup since I have the magnetic GPU stand placed over one of the mounting holes
If you're looking for 3.5-inch storage solutions, you should probably skip SFF and MFF completely. Besides, with solid state storage prices getting cheaper and being faster and more reliable than mechanical drives, you'd do well to simply skip spinning rust altogether.
Not sure if you bought a case yet but there is a mesh side panel variant of this case that doesn't have the prime label. I'll probably end up buying that one.
I just ordered the same build like but mine was 13700 non-K and RX 6600 XT (Will upgrade to TUF 7900 XTX). Man I hope my TUF RX 7900 XTX would fit in that case 😅😅

Gigabyte is not the most reliable for GPU you could go with Asus for GPU and Mobo. Good try but very very very bad brand decisions. You found the most problematic brands for each component. 😃You could lose everything if you choose 1 component wrong after a short circuit.
Corsair is 10x better than those 2 you listed, Samsung is also fine now with a update. The deepcool cooler destroys noctua for the price and can easily cool 95% of cpus
