My 6 year old daughter, who is named Michelle, discovered The Beatles wrote a song called Michelle last Friday. She's enchanted with it and been singing and youtubing it since. She found your version on my phone and was listening to it. She just asked me if you were one of the Beatles. I told her he was a teacher explaining a very complex song. I almost hate to put it on as she wants to hear it 20 times in a row... at least, it's a change from "Let it Go" from Frozen. :) Great job dissecting and explaining a song written before we were born!
I love it. In early December of 1965, when I was 15, my older sister had a slumber party at our house. One of her friends, Barb, brought a hot-off-the-press copy of Rubber Soul, & she & I sat for over an hour by a portable record player while I figured out the guitar parts & we both sang. I didn't know what to call it, at the time, when you played the minor chord on top of the major IV. I knew that it was something I'd heard before, but didn't know where. Barb soon became my girlfriend, & we would play together for two years in a traveling rock band. Our strong point, as a band, was tight 4-part harmony, especially on the soft-pop songs (a lot of Beatles). Thank you.
@ffsooo3 I do not know how I do this. I just seem to initially "see" these harmonies like a mess... difficult to explain ... then suddenly they appear to me like separated coloured threads ...
Thank you so much for this. This is awesome not only for singing, but, personally, I'm learning to listen to my favorite band again. Grazie mille dall'altra parte dell'Atlantico, Maestro Frudua.
This is my favorite videos of yours. To think, I never would have noticed the beautiful complexities of this seemingly simple song if it weren't for you. x)
Thanks for your upload! This time we worked on Michelle with reference to your uploaded video. With the chorus of a regular Beatles song, i can often hear each chorus part, but the chorus of this song is not easy. And many of the scores on sale are simplified and inaccurate. Thanks to you we were able to cover this song. Thank you very much. SLR Ryo
Hey, galeazzo! Fine job as always! Greetings from a Beatles and frudua fan from spain. I think you're correct when you say at the comments it's just Paul at work here (on the video you say both John and George sing as well). All vocals and instruments. Ian Macdonald says so in Revolution in the head, a book you show at the background on the I saw her standing there video (I think it was that one). This fact shows mccartney's absolute musical genious, perhaps unique in the band. Thanks!
ciaooo Galeazzo from Salamanca, Spain. My good friend Kyle and I made this video back in 2010 and we had to listen to the song thousands of times to get a couple of harmonies out hehe. I wish we had seen this video! :) Hope you like it. Ciao! Michelle - The Beatles (cover)
Great work Maestro! Is it possible that there is a mistake in the verse 4th backing vocals? First note is of course a C, but the second one I think it's a C# instead of a D.
Hi Galeazzo... It's funny, I happened upon your channel via an Irish music app. When I first heard your speaking voice I thought u were Russian. Go figure because I was raised by an Italian grandfather who still had a rather thick accent dispite living in the US for so many years. Anyway, I'm glad I ran into your channel albeit by accident... u have an amazing singing voice and who doesn't love the Beatles! U have talent written all over, not to mention very handsome too. Have u ever considered
thankssssss!!!!! you are the besttttt teacheerr!!!! Galeazzo Frudua THANK´S VERY THANKS FOR YOU LESSON!!! I NEED SING I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND!!! WHEN??
I recorded this song with the lead and the 6 harmonies a couple of months back! I could swear that it was mostly sung with more "mmmmmmmm" harmonics throughout the majority of the song, and certainly less "oooooooooo" as the primary harmonics! Hard to tell sometimes since maybe it is half and half between the 2 different octaves of harmonies! 🤔😎✌
May you post the backing vocal harmony in "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"? During the Chorus, it sounds like there is an Ensemble (composed of them, of course) and it sounds really sweet! You could do the whole vocal for that song too, if you'd like :)
Ciao Galeazzo, First of all i love the Beatles and your your videos! I have one question: On the 2nd note of the 4th voice (verse part) i feel a dissonance of the D note (shouldn't it be a Db, since the harmony is Bbm?) Or is it intentional? Regards :)
Could you please work your magic. on the fool on the hill. It is one of my favorite. Thank You again for what you do. I really enjoy learning the way you teach.
Hi talented Gale, you said that all the Beatles are doing the harmonies on that song...Do you mean that Ringo did it also (with a little help from his friends) ?
Hi Galeazzo! Greetings from México, great work with these tutorials! Just one question, in the 4th vocal part in the verse, you are going from C to D and shouldn't it be a Db (instead of D) because the harmony goes from F major to Bb minor 7.. is this correct? Awesome work!
Gale!!! Me mataste!!!!! Hahahahhahahaa!!! Have been singing all afternoon with my friend Rolo (he got me started in singing in 2007) and OH MY GOD!!! This one totally murdered us!!!!! Hahhahahaa!!!! Or as we say in Argentina, "que hijo de putaaaaaaa!" (PURE ENVY)!!!!!!!!
Some people refer to Billy Preston as the fifth Beatle. Do you have any tutorials which you show Billy Preston's part in the Harmony. I am also wondering If you will work on The fool on the hill. I really love this song. I also Enjoy how you sing Thank you, Brian
I think there's a mistake in the bridge. If you hear the isolated track, the 1st backing vocal actually dips down which is missing here, and what you have as 1 should actually be 2, etc. I think what you have for backing vocal 4 and 5 is split from what's supposed to be 1 part.
Great Video. Congrats. Have a question... If you had to choose just two vocals of the six... Which ones would you use.. The two more importants? Thanks.
Oops, I'm writing from an iPhone which doesn't allow u to write as much so I got cut short.. LoL. What I was trying to ask at the end of my comment was... Have u ever considered trying out for one of the many "idol" competitions we seem to have all over the world now? Does Italy have a version of this? ~Shine~ from California :-)
Thanks million tons for this amazing video! I really need to know each note played and don't have time to figure out each note played, do you think you can just put the name of the note/pitch sung at each harmony? (A-G notation would do) Thanks a lot!

John Barry Sweeeet :))
that's awesome!!!
Right on! I'd take the Beatles over Frozen any day!
I never knew how many voices the harmony had on this song! Thank you for explaining how it was done. I hope you find great success in music.
Amazing, thanks!
:)
The Beatles Vocal Harmony I'm making a cover using this video, I'll get back when it's finished ;)

Gli italiani sono i migliori musicisti e questo ragazzo è un esempio
An amazing tutorial. You reverse engineered the vocal parts and then you nailed it when you put it all back together. Well done!
@ffsooo3 I do not know how I do this. I just seem to initially "see" these harmonies like a mess... difficult to explain ... then suddenly they appear to me like separated coloured threads ...
The "additional overdub" really makes the bridge! You have the midrange stepping down to prepare for everyone else stepping up from there.
I'd love to see the Rolling Stones trying to do this...
Cristian Bustos Ahahahahah
Stones ? never never never!!!
You're right man
yeah no they'd never do this, but they have other qualities, right? ;)
Hahahahahahaha , Simply Impossible !!
Eres genial...!
Tu humildad, por otro lado, encanta.
Gracias!
Thanks!
Y....¡Chao! 😃✋👋👌👍👏
Love this, makes me apriciate the Beatles even more. Thank you sir.
The mystery of the chorus. you help me solved the puzzle that i can't understand so many years. thank you so very.
This is impressive! Such a hard work. Galeazzo, you do have privileged ears. Congratulations.
Thank you so much for this. This is awesome not only for singing, but, personally, I'm learning to listen to my favorite band again. Grazie mille dall'altra parte dell'Atlantico, Maestro Frudua.
Thank you gracias obrigado!
Fantastico, Galeazzo!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yeah!
You did such an amazing job with this tutorial breakdown
Thank you for responding to my question. Mr. Frudua I have a lot of respect for the job you do and share with us. Brian Harrington, San Jose CA
You have a very fine ear, an absolute ear !! Thank you very much .
I already covered the reprise.
Will do!
Thanks for your upload! This time we worked on Michelle with reference to your uploaded video.

Gran bel lavoro! Non avevo idea della complessità armonica di questi backing vocals. E grazie anche per tutti gli altri tutorial!
Well after a while I kinda "see" them like threads through an initial "fog" of notes.
Excellent job mate! Congratulations
Greatings from Madrid
Perfect! You are an inspiration, Mr. Frudua!
Another cracking tutorial Galeazzo :)
Oh, and please have a listen to our Michelle cover on our YT page :)
Thank you so much, Galeazzo... It is so hard to find Harmony Vocal parts on the Web... You have done a beautiful job here...
Absolutely amazing. How do you hear all those voices????
I loved it! Thank you! It helped a lot! Now I can play the bass line while singing along!
you are an excellent singing tutor, the best i have found.
Thank you very much for all your effort. You are a wonderful instructor! Bravo!
Most excellent work, sir. Great video. 👍🏻
Thank you ur job is much appreciated plz keep posting about the Beatles
I find harmonisation fascinating. How do they know how to pitch their tones etc? It’s an understated art to be able to do that.
No Ringo here :)

Grazie! your videos are very useful for me. I'm the worst singer in the world but still enjoying to record Beatles songs by myself.
Rubber soul Michelle song of the year Grammy award winning song of the year

I think same as you. Look the discussion commented by Yair Gamboa
Maybe you would like to put a thank and a link to this video in the description ;)

I can't imagine how you are able to disclose the harmonies?
"Mi mas profundo respeto..... MAESTRO ".
Eres un gran Maestro...

harmony 1 : 2:35 4:25 5:51
harmony 2 : 2:52 4:37 5:59
harmony 3 : 3:09 4:50 6:06
Brilliant as usual
Of course!
Beautiful!
Could you please work your magic. on the fool on the hill. It is one of my favorite. Thank You again for what you do. I really enjoy learning the way you teach.
Brilliant work sir.
So during the tracking, Ringo is included in the harmonizing? Quite remarkable, if true.
Oh god, so beautiful (':

Mmhh I'd suggest you trust the video :)
Fernando is right
DO NOT QUESTION GALEAZZO!
: )
I want to see you singing 'because' it should be amazing
Great Job. Thanks. Any chance you and Denny can do the harmony's for Nowhere Man.
I'd rather say they all equal..

@kennyg03 Ringo is a fine singer and front man (did you see any of his last concerts?) But no he isn't singing here.
i want to do cover of this song... this will help a lot =) thank you...
"mucho complicato" very good man

QUELLO CHE DENOTO IN TE E' IL VOLER ANALIZZARE E CIRCOSCRIVERE TUTTE LE SFUMATURE DELLE CANZONI DEI BEATLES
@mjm4222 NM is already done Sir!
" Sont des mots qui vont tres bien ensemble"

For the verse, I think backing vocal 3 starts lower on the 2nd "oo".
Awesome! ... Scratching head... some serious listening to pick all that out.
Thanks!
Would be great if you showed all the vocals for the entire song.
God damn you are GOOD !!! thank you
great great job thank you
Great Video. Congrats. Have a question... If you had to choose just two vocals of the six... Which ones would you use.. The two more importants? Thanks.
mmhh no way :)
OK, this is just amazing. That's all I can say. Wow.
@danieljimenez551 That's correct.
Thanks so much for this pal!
