I just wanna let you know that I appreciate your efforts man. I knew Sambora's layers (figured it out by ear) but I came here to learn the other layers, mainly the backing layers in the chorus. Now I know all the layers, thanks to you. You got exceptional ears.
I will say it simply: you are amazing! Such instruction was looking for all my life! Such a communicative instructor too. It is too late for me to learn vocal harmony effectively, but since I remember I was fascinated by harmonic singing (from the point of view of technique and aesthetics) I will enjoy your films and try to get something for myself.

man you are a source of inspiration for many musicians. I would ask some vocals breakdown. songs like: "California Dreams" (mammas and papa or beach boys version) - "Africa" (toto), "Age of Aquarios - Let the Sun shine In" (hair version), "build" (house martins), "Lost In Love" (Air Supply)....
Nice Idea like Wind of Change has great harmonies.
One that suits your vocal range first and vocal colour (timbre) secondly. Start with a slow and low pitched one.

Sir, I want to cover it with original scale of Bon Jovi but my voice cracks at "live forever" and "did it". I am practicing the song with original track's scale everyday. I will keep practicing till my death. Will I be able to sing those high notes on original Bon Jovi's scale some day???

What notes are you using for the harmonies? Say if you were singing the lead as a G note would you sing the backing as B and D or for rock is there a different style?

You sound good! but the only thing that puzzles me is that you choose to sing the high notes on falsetto/flageolet, instead of on a 'head voice'/full sound configuration :o

Galeazzo, on your first Bon Jovi solo lead vocal, you added something to the mix right when you started the hook/chorus, it sounds like a harmonizor or some type of vocal doubling. Would you mind sharing? I need that very effect to fatten up my own recordings. BTW, I do not feel this is cheating whatsoever, practically ALL radio hits use doubling as the very MINIMUM in a pro recording, as you well know this used to be done the only way it COULD be done (b4 digital)--singing the same line again and then the producer/engineer would route to L/R channel and (the good ones anyway!) usually put just the slightest time delay on playback so it sounded like more voices....
