I think the reason a lot of marriages fail is because the couple gets complacent. The "courting" stage of the relationship is over since they got married and thus make less of an effort to keep things interesting. They believe that the "hard" part is already over so they can just slip into a monotonous routine but a marriage should be just as, if not more exciting than the dating stage. Go out and do things together, try something new or turn learning new things about each other into a fun game. Don't let your marriage become stagnant because that is one of the many reasons for divorce.

well that's one of the reasons, abuse and addictions are also somehow common reason. Also marrying people you don't really know has also been a known issue, funnily enough a common thing for lesbian marriages, due to gay women more commonly going into more serious relationships quickly. At least compared to general population.

This is without a doubt one of the most fucked up episodes when you deep it. To think it was that easy for them to go and take over these people's lives really is a scary thought.

I think that what a lot of people get wrong about marriage is thinking that love is the most important thing. Sure its nice if its there forever but its more about companionship and having someone that can go that extra mile for you

I think the thing about marriage is people make it out it to be this HUGE thing that needs to happen in order for a relationship to work. People go into relationships thinking that a ring and a kiss under an arch of flowers will suddenly make all their problems go away instead of seeing marriage as an intimate understanding that both partners have for one another. A bond as strong as steel (like the metal of the ring), all so bright and beautiful (Like the diamonds on the ring) THAT is what a marriage is.

There are infinite parallel universes, so everything you could ever imagine has already happened in another universe right, I have a theory (I have not watched the show), Rick is the smartest person that have ever lived, because If someone else was smart enough, they would have in any of the parallel universes found out how to travel through universes, but it doesn’t seem like it atm, Rick is the only one capable of such insane intelligence, love the reactions btw!

He actually made a really good prediction. Rick has kind of done something like that before. He left his original universe where his wife and daughter died, and if I remember correctly, in S6 E1 it was revealed that he messed up the Earth in his original universe.

I think the concept of marriage is what causes some of them to fail. I know a few people who dated for years and then after they got married, they eventually got divorced. Personally I don’t see the point of marriage. It’s just signing a paper and buying over priced rings just to say you can spend the rest of your life with someone and share last names. I don’t get it
