*These floats do what they say they do **enjoyable.fishing** recommend they come on and off easily and can be adjusted in seconds to adjust to the depth of the water you are fishing in. Used these with trout magnet lures and did really well with them in the stream!*
KKM-Bs are brilliant , never had one strieghtened out yet , had carp up to 18lb on them , and not many hooks pulling out eather, been using the pre tied banded ones for 2 seasons , I honestly can't fault them , had some great results with them this season, definitely paid for themselves, cheers Preston.

Great vid joe thanks. Been using the range since they came out and love them but that information has allowed me to match the hooks to what I want to do far better. Keep up the great work Thanks again. Dan 🤙🏻
Hi joe great video and well explained. I was about to ask you and des on the 13th q&a this question. This year since first lock down I've bough loads of your pole floats but was never quite sure about your range of hooks now I know . Thanks again
Been planning on replacing all my hook lengths with ptfe coated so this video has helped massively,it would’ve been a perfect video if you’d accidentally knocked that Man U mug onto the floor but we can’t have everything lol, thank you for the easy breakdown in each hook
That Thurston match (if I've spelt it right) was some of the best on the moment fishing I've have ever seen on the interweb i said so on the day you posted it and again now brilliant. I'm still going to stick to me B911s they have never NEVER let me down. See you
Hi Joe, thanks for clearing this up great video, as always... I love the SFL hooks butnhow much confidence would you have in landing a bonus carp? What size fish would you be worried about it straightening out?
Wow, easy when you know how, if I'm honest Preston have lost sales because I had now idea what the abbreviations meant! I did work out the -B was Barbless hooks though :-). marketing certainly got these wrong and I am sure I'm not the only one! even though you have lifted the vale of mystery, I still think it wouldn't hurt to add the words under the letters. Knotless knot is okay if you have a good understanding of English grammar. I know you have their ear, give them the feedback and watch sales sky rocket.
Very informative video. As an out and out predator angler I would value your advice and guidance on the following. I have been invited to fish in a method only competition at Barston Lakes. This style of fishing is totally alien to me - what hooks and style of method feeder would you recommend. Size 12 barbless is the largest allowed. Thank you.
@@MatchFishingFilms Thanks for the advice. I will be using a old 13ft Boron rod with 6llb line or a barble rod with 1.75 llb tip with 12llb line. What are your thoughts. Cheers
. @Match Fishing Films Update on the method trial on my local pool - I tried the XR 30g Banjo with a banded size 16 MCM- B, 2mm pellet and 6mm pellet hook bait. Fished 3 feet off the bank. Could not believe the amount of fish caught, despite the torrential downpour. Moved up to a 8mm pellet whilst remaining on the banded 16 hook. In a 4 hour session I caught a fish every 8 minutes - I used a stop watch to keep time. Not to shabby for a Pike angler. Thank you for your advice
So what barbed eyed hook would recommend for barbel on the trent in the Preston rage. I hate trying hooks i wish a company would do pre tired hooks on at least 6ft of line to around the 8lb mark
@@MatchFishingFilms Arsenal not doing much better so I shouldn't have really fired that shot TBH 😂 But on a serious note: I have been using the SFL-B in an 18 at the local canal and been very impressed so far.

just switched over to preston hooks and all this now makes sense thank you.
:)
Great little informative video , cheers for clearing that up
Quite Apt you've placed your Man Utd mug towards the bottom end of the table 👍🏼😜
Hahaha
👍😂
A couple of feet above the Liverpool one on the floor 😂
Thanks Joe that now makes a lot of sense of all those letters and numbers.
Fantastic hooks, especially the KKM-B, and much better value than some of the other brands on the market.
Great vid joe thanks. Been using the range since they came out and love them but that information has allowed me to match the hooks to what I want to do far better. Keep up the great work

back in the day I used Preston pinch barbless hooks. Really wish there were still available

Great info Joe, made it a lot clearer for me, but can you tell me what the last letter stands for, ie.B?
Love KKH barbed and KKM barbless fantastic in 12-14 for specimen natural Rudd and bream

Thank you a day of a lifetime that was
@@MatchFishingFilms it's one I will never forget and i was only watching you lol thanks joe see you soon
Well done joe at last eh! From an XXL P 👍
Joe just changed over to the Preston hook range which pre tied pattern would you recommend for pellet shalla fishing in summer, cheers Joe
The Kim b are are a brilliant hook !
any signs of a KKL-B for lighter f1 or winter pellet fishing?
finally someones willing to explain those weird letter combo's it is so confusing
Hi Joe, thanks for clearing this up great video, as always... I love the SFL hooks butnhow much confidence would you have in landing a bonus carp? What size fish would you be worried about it straightening out?
It's a mega strong hook. Certainly the strongest of that style I have no issues using it for good carp in the winter with a 11 dura slip 👍
Which pattern would you recommend for winter feeder fishing on naturals joe. Cracking vid again 👍👍
If barbed are allowed I would give the N10 a try. I love that hook for small to medium fish (roach and skimmers)
@@MatchFishingFilms no only barbless, sorry joe I should of added that to my question. My apologies
SFL-B without doubt then ❤
@@MatchFishingFilms thanks joe vey much appreciated

Your right mark! If your a business selling a product that you want to sell you don't make a mystery of it

At Barston, a feeder like a large Banjo XR in 30g or 45g along with a size 12 MCM-B would be the ideal combination.

makes sense now :-)
Whats better for carp around 15lbs? Mcm or kkh?
Either. but the MCM is a fantastic big fish hook
Can I also ask, what does the B at the end stand for?
Barbless
@@MatchFishingFilms Thank you.
Any recommendations for a maggot hook that is strong enough for double figure carp on the float rod
The GPM would be good in the smaller sizes 👍
At last some clarification.

Kkh barbed without a doubt
@@MatchFishingFilms cheers pal thank you
