It kind of looks similar to Volvos XC40. I think it looks handsome and I appreciate its boxy designs. Sort of like Mercedes G-class. I think that in today's world of swooping lines and curvey exteriors, traditional boxy cars will stand out
I just got my GLB 250 2023 2 days ago and I love it. I am still learning my car. I replaced my GLA 250 2016 with it. What a difference! GLB lives up more to the MB brand of car than my old one.
I absolutely love my new Patagonia red 2022 GLB. It did have a defective A/C part which caused hot air to blow sporadically when the A/C was on. No other problems so far.
Interesting how much this creeps up on the GLC in interior size. Being boxy has its perks! The manual seats are so odd on an MB product, which prides itself on being the benchmark of luxury excellence, even on less expensive models. Yes, I'm sure they saved those special chips to put into an EQS that probably requires more than 3 times the chips that this vehicle does. $48K is tough to swallow, given that a GLC w/ options is available for not terribly more.
I just bought one it is fantastic fantastic wonderful the greatest Benz ever got a great deal at Mercedes Benz had a glc prior to the glb I love my glb 250 get to Mercedes Benz of Augusta ga for super great buys and only speak to Henry seguers. The general sales Mgr no won else
Hey guy nice review 👍. I always liked this model even though im not a big fan of Mercedes. I tried to convince my sister to get this model but the dealer she went to only had the GLC so she got it 😁
That sky was as dark as your shirt 😄 but glad you made it inside the car before the rain started and the front review as well as the rainy test drive gave me ASMR vibes! For you Mason, you cracked me up when you got in that very back seat area😁
When i first saw the AMG-A35 and the GLB200 in my country, i found it very rare for the front passenger seat that are manual adjust. Because all the Mercedes here both front seats are electric adjust. There are no Mercedes in my country without both front seats with manual adjust
the parts/chips shortage is the reason this GLB does not have pwr seat controls. Sad. I like the front end look but I do not like a turbo engine or the fact it calls for premium fuel, which is 50 cents more per gallon, good grief. And I've heard for years that servicing a Mercedes is expensive.
@@ofcbob6391 the GLB in Vietnam is like one of the Mercedes vehicles that nobody buy, at that price people usually buy GLC instead, for 7-seat they usually get the GLS
In some SE Asia country, the dealer already spec-out the vehicles. Progressive line, AMG line, etc. Buyers have little to no capability to customise to their own liking outside of special orders. Here in Indonesia you could only get the GLB200 progressive line FWD only. I’m not surprised if a 37K GLB doesn’t have electric seat. It’s relatively cheap for a Mercedes product.
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
Car Confections, before I watch the video... I really truly want to know if this thing can compete because it's one of my favorites! I also wish you would tell us your favorites in other than your comparison videos. Please always tell us at the end of a review if it could be close to a favorite, because not enough people do that on their reviews. ... They just tell you a few comparable ones without stating differences.
I bought a new AMG GLB in November 2021...and promptly traded it in for a 2022 Audi E-Tron Chronos in April 2022. It's a decent car but just didn't do it for me. Also, a friendly tip, never buy a model with the stock sound system if you care about music at all, it's really really poor. I didn't have much of a choice due to limited options caused by production shortages, but I almost instantly regretted it when I turned the music on for the 1st time. I had the upgraded system in my AMG CLA 35 and it was 10x better than the stock system in the GLB. In my opinion, don't buy this car, either wait till they release the electric version or get the GLC.
Its unfortunate some of those option packages aren't just those packages. It always kills me how these European brands still require a bunch of packages to sometimes be able to get the one you really want. Just to get the package for the more advanced driver assist features requires both the premium and multimedia packages.
I notices interior lighting package is optional for 64 light options but does it come with a less options standard interior lighting system? (Like 10 colors for free)

38K is the lie that lures the person in…… 38K base which means no luxuries……. I got a 2023 version of this car, and you are right, we spent ($15-20k) tons of money adding options to get it to feel like a “Mercedes” should. With those options though, it is a pretty practical SUV, with tons of luxurious touches. Hopefully, I have better luck with mine in terms of reliability 😂
too small for the legs, on the driver's side, it hurts all over my leg after an hour, very strong pain. you have to expand the space, it becomes a toy, it's not comfortable.
That's not how you get into the back seat of any car. Your body position is completely wrong which makes it looks bad than it actually is. Unless you wanted it to looks bad of course.
Looks more like a mini GLS-class than a G wagon!

Congrats on your new GLB!
I might be doing the same soon!
thinking I want one too...I'm in the Cadillac xt6 now but always wanted a Mercedes
are they long? i'm 6 ft 1 and push my seat far back making it uncomfortable for my passengers behind
I just hated the shifter lever on most of the Benz but I love the Benz and owned a used one too 😂
Which Benz did you get im considering but im cautious on reliability

I have a 2023 glb250, I dont know how to adjust the tempreture for the rear, hot wind blows from the fist raw, but the rear van blows cool wind
Is it reliable, would you recommend?
Adaptive cruise control is an option 🤣😂
Thanks!
You bet!
I really love the Mercedes GLB it’s very nice! I love the blue lighting and real medal key fab

My 5th MB. I have this exact 2021 MB and I’m not happy with it. My 2018 CLA had more comfort and interior options.
Th exhaust doesn't even go out the fake chrome exhaust outlet. It pops out right behind it facing down lol

How comfortable is VW atlas? Is it as comfortable as the bmw 5 series or 7 series? How is it compared to other SUVs in terms of comfort
VW Atlas is very comfort oriented in the 3-row SUV segment. It feels heavy and substantial when driving it around

I love the front of the vehicle and the interior. But the rear should be a little more stylish....too simple and boring.
Just my take 😃
Y’all should do versus between an q5 and a Glb

If you put on your seatbelt before startup, then it won't play
