@@megatronskneecap it works you just go to your purchased section and download them. Note: Only works with about 60% apps
@@JohnAddict same tbh
@@JohnAddictwdym, ios 6 is a very neat ios version to mess around with. also you liked your own comment 💀💀💀
I got an iPod touch 4th generation and I got the AppStore to work some how
That happened to my iPod touch 4 a few days ago
Set the date to the 24 may 2023 and the app store will work. Mine work on my iOS 6.0 iPhone 5
i saw a article on macrumors that the certificate for ios 7 to 11 is expiring as well at the end of August. meaning app store , apple music , icloud etc wont work anymore
WHYYYYYYYYYY now I can't install ipad games normally since it's 5.11 ;-;
in before there is some variety of jailbreak to resolve it
THE APP STORE IS BACK FOR IOS 2-6!!!!!!
Apple literally gave us the nostalgia trip we needed 😂😂😂😂
Bummer, I guess I’m lucky because I do have some apps like temple run on my iPad 4 iOS 6 and iPhone 4 iOS 4
bro siri works on iOS 6 again
In Europe IOS 6 still works fine even with App Store and even ITunes
This made me sad I have an iPod touch 4 on 6.1.6 and still havent downloaded any apps on it but I guess its too late now
Still works for me in Australia?
They just don’t do those updates anymore it got old and it was a long time ago
Seems like It’s also gone on iOS 5. AKA, the Original iPad. Pretty sad
iPad 1st gen ios 5 user here, going back time actually DOES let me open the App Store, but not the iTunes Store
Of course days before I get out my old iPhone 3GS
Can I still hear my downloaded songs from the iTunes store
It's good that they supported iOS 6 for so long, they probably don't expect iPhone 5 users to still use iOS 6 when it can use iOS 10
Don't forget about the Wii, DSi and Wii U shops!
@@WesleyAndPixElleNo one's talking about Nintendo
I remember my brother and I found his 4th generation iPod Touch and I decided to try opening the app store since all the data was wiped from it, and it kept saying we couldn't open it. Now I see why.
I have an iPod. How can I keep on getting new songs on iOS 6 with no iTunes?
They even did this for iOS 3
Weirdly enough, just yesterday I've decided to install something on my iOS 6 4s. I though, I had connection problem.
Hopefully. they don't close access to software update servers for these models anytime soon.
they definitely didn't do it intentionally, and there's actually a really easy workaround to get it working again since the website it was on was relocated to a new domain
@pizzaboxer PLEASE, how do you do this? i have a 3gs with ios 6.1.3 and i don't want to risk destroying its data with a botched jailbreak, and i don't want to install new apps, i just want to open the ones i have, and they wont. from what i have read, this is because it is not connecting to my apple id, so i logged out and can't log back in because "cannot connect to itunes store". the internet does connect but the apple id nonsense makes it impossible for me to open my already downloaded apps. help pls.
You can still download with itunes and a computer
I still use my iPod touch 4 for my music!!!
Someone needs to make a tweak to make these apps work again
They’ve killed every think you can’t even sign in with your Apple ID anymore
Can you still install apps via iTunes?
Is it possible to install an older version of iTunes and sync the apps to the phone that way?
Its back working without the AppStore fix tweak in my iPad 3
I was able to download apps on my iOS 6 iPhone 4 back in 2020 and 2021.
How do you have the old RUclips icon on iOS 6?
Can you do a tutorial on jailbreaking iOS 6 I can’t find a good trusted tutorial anywhere
Veteris works as a great replacement, it even allows you to choose a specific version of an app to download, long live iOS 6!
