the only way that anyone can succeed in life and business is to work hard consistantly .... I have experienced myself as a dumb person. By the way I enjoyed watching your video. thanks for the share. a felllow creator .
What about when the distraction comes from outside yourself? I engineer electronics for MRI systems which often takes intense focus on my part but for some reason not on my coworkers part. I cannot tune out the 3 -5 separate conversations continuously going on all around me on every subject imaginable. Even earplugs underneath noise cancelling headphones doesn't work completely.
Dang, that situation sounds tough and it is hard to avoid. On a scale of 1-10, who much does that distraction bother you? Is it at a point where you’d want to find other work?
@@MichaelUnks It hovers between 9 and 10 lately and that's no exaggeration. This one guy's voice whom I've dubbed Sir Talks-A-Lot has even began to permeate my dreams. I literally voice recorded him talking once for 27 minutes straight. Funny you should ask about finding other work though because we've all been officially notified that our last day of work will be June 30th. This particular production facility with approximately 400 employees is being relocated to India.
@@MichaelUnks I've updated my resume and followed a few leads, one of which led to an interview a few weeks ago but nothing yet. I'm not feeling very optimistic but am able to fake it if the situation calls for it. I mean, if I were a recruiter looking to fill a tech position, a 53 year old guy would not be at the top of my list of applicants. I'm not saying that's right, but it's real.
I get it. You’re not being negative, your just seeing parts of reality that could make it harder to get the job. I imagine you have a great deal more experience that some of the other applicants. Maybe you can leverage that in future interviews
@@MichaelUnks I am speaking about "7 Ways How to Raise Serotonin Levels Naturally". Watch it again and pay attention how not only informative, but also playful, diverse it was and what "fun" music u used, please ;)
The discomfort that comes from disciplined work, is usually what it takes to produce something great. Good one brother!

9-10?! Oh man, that’s rough! Any leads on other jobs/careers you can be pursuing now so you’re not cutting it close come June?

This phone has trained my head to be hyperdistractable
A video, made 5 years ago is more popular than many, made 1 year ago. Have u understood why?
