George was the best man at Joe Browns wedding. So much history, friendship and love between all the of musicians who performed at this concert, and it shows. The whole thing is a masterpiece from start to finish in my opinion
English boy's 😉
You are correct !
In our opinion... 👍
I don't know who any of these people are, but I absolutely agree with you on the "masterpiece" thingie ...
I Love Joe Brown! See him look into the camera early on to let us all know he's playing to all of us...including us all. 🌿💗🌿 What a doll!!
Joe stole the show at the end with "I'll see you in my dreams", and this performance is great too. All in all an incredible concert and tribute to George.
I'll see you in my dreams gets me everytime.
I agree 👍
Absolutely yes. That last song was so simple yet so incredibly moving. Just such a perfect ending to a wonderful tribute concert.
He did.
that song is nearly 100 years old. They were neighbours, Harrison introduced Joe to the song.
Happy 77th Birthday George :)
He made a lasting impression on us. As well as the younger generation who discovered the Beatles - I was 5 years old in 2001 when he died.
This song always puts a smile on face 🌞
True!
Same man
Here comes the sun 🌄 👍
ALL Beatles music puts a smile on one's face !
Always does to me
Why do they all look like dads who get together in the weekend to make music? That is what I like about these artists, they care about the music and the meaning of it. ''Artists''/Performers nowadays only care about looks and money. LEGENDS!
It doesn't matter who sings this song, the tune will always excel.
Yes. It is a constant in this universe, like the speed of light.
Beautiful, faithful, heartfelt version of George’s greatest song. The angels were smiling down on this whole concert. Just sublime...
Yes it is and yes they were, Larry for sure.
Sang with love, tenderness and joy
Probably one of the best songs ever written. Happy birthday George❤
Politely agree wholeheartedly.
Oh no! It is the Best song Ever written. Inspiring,
Another great version of one of my favorite songs ! Joe has a great voice !
That beautiful acoustic guitar at the beginning, just gives me chills. Love this SO much, and Joe really embraces this song, gives his whole heart and soul. Beautifully done! Thanks, Joe. ♥
impossible not to love this song
Best reason of all to keep a capo in your guitar case.
U can play it without a capo it just hurts like hell to barre the whole time
And yet that musician is only seen all of 20 seconds, even though that’s what makes the song
@@mitchellsilverman5595 I don't understand? The capo stays on for the duration of the number. A least it does when I play it!
@@epipick it does when I play it tooo
Maybe the only one, IMO
This man is a treasure, I have no idea why he is not more well known in the states
Andy Fairweather Low goes unremarked for his beautiful and understated contribution here. A perennial sideman for Slowhand, his solid contribution to this iconic concert deserves more praise.
Same can be said of Albert Lee's contribution.
Yes, the subtle 12 sting electric guitar backing is a wonderful alternative to the original Moog used on the recording.
OMG I love this concert and have watched it so many times but didn't recognise Andy Fairweather Low, next song I am going to listen to is "(If Paradise is) half as nice"
The Brilliant Joe Brown, fantastic talent. Saw him way back in the 60's in Southend and hope to see him again.
Beautiful.
And later when Joe sings I'll See You In My Dreams... Damn if I don't well up every time.
I love Joe's energy!!!
Who the hell disliked this? This is beautiful. Happy birthday George
I know what you mean. If Jesus descended from heaven, cleansed the world of sin and someone made a RUclips video it would get a fair number of thumbs down. I simply can't understand the mentality of some people. The Beatles were the biggest band of all time and this track is the most-streamed Beatles track on Spotify. George's music is on a different plane spiritually and I find listening to his music incredibly uplifting.
The people who disliked this video’s phones are probably upside down
@@Leomatoad its bot you know to balance like and dislike its from system compurer
Oh dear, the downthumb police are out and about again with f*** all better to do than... er... downthumb. You people are even worse that the inexplicale downthumbers. The inexplicable complainers about the inexplicable downthumbers.
Morerons
It Took Joe To Bring a Bit of Happiness to this Concert, He Was A Great Friend of Georges
we miss you george! this song will always get me.
its a little amazing to me that while the Beatles gained extraordinary fame in the 60s at their debut; they're fame has withstood the test of time. They're weren't like so many pop musicians; forgotten or their music gone stale in time. It wasn't 'just a fad' or a product of the times. They're music really is bold, complex and beautiful. Today new generations are still discovering and learning about their music and how inspirational it really is.
Joe Brown never changed his hairstyle in 60 years. What a great musician and friend.
😂 You don't think it might be a 'Syrup' by now then?
(For non-Brits, rhyming slang for a WIG is Syrup of Fig)
Joe browns performance of "I'll see you in my dreams" has to be my favorite moment from the concert for George. What a tribute. So many legends coming together to pay their respects to a great friend to all of them and also a great musician. George was a beautiful man!
Me too
I love this cover. I feel when covering a song, there's a fine line between imitating it like the original and changing the style so much that it's a different song.
I feel the balance has been found here perfectly
Lo escucho prácticamente todos los días, me encanta esta versión. Historia pura en su máxima plenitud.
Joe is a consummate performer. Great cover of George’s classic song.
the "Concert for George" was by far the greatest live event off all time..... forget "live aid" and all that other stuff....
fueled by god and love and long lasting friendships
it's not a competition
Happy Birthday George!!! 🇲🇽❤️
I dont know why every I heard this song it makes my cry
GEORGE forever in our hearts
Anybody who doesn’t own the DVD of “Concert For George”..is doing themselves an injustice!...It’s the who’s who of music plus an incredible cast on the undercard ( I mean this in the nicest way..as all who perform are not entirely musicians)..why even Tom Hanks gets a gig..but if you want a great nights entertainment at home..sipping on a red or two this is the gig for you..better have the tissues at the ready as this concert reeks sentimentally at it’s best..RIP Georgie love you man.
I will buy it today....And I’ll have my bottle of Chianti ready. Thank you.
My most treasured music and video
One word....
NICE !
This is such a great version of this song. The entire concert was phenomenal. I have the sun DVD and it slayes me every time.
Great version of George's fantastic song. Joe always seems such a nice geezer and I remember buying probably his most famous single back in the day "A picture of you". I still love that song. Some oldies will also remember hearing him sing Henry VIII....I'm her 8th old man call Henry, Henry the 8th I am.
George was always my favorite f
Beatle
Concert for George is also one of my favorite videos
25 FEB 2020 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAREST SWEET GEORGE !!!

Another beautiful rendition of a timeless classic. This concert feels like yesterday. ❤
Oh wow... Oh wow, he really paid a beautiful tribute to his friend by performing one of the best live renditions ever of this classic masterpiece!!
Wonderful tribute Joe. Fan Bloody Tastic Tribute!
George Harrison, el espíritu más luminoso del Universo. Feliz 77!!!! Te extrañamos.
A really Great performance by the Great Joe Brown and ALL the others 🤗. Anyone who doesn't know of Joe Brown shouldn't really be putting negative comments here. A fitting tribute with the others to George Harrison. Nice One....
Haven't seen a negative comment so far ... The Concert for George was a wonderful event, such a wealth of talent paying tribute. Everybody loved George Harrison.💞
This is incredible. Reminds me of how incredible a musician George was, and that he was really the primo writer in the band, there at the end.
agree but they kept him down far to long turns out my fav songs from them were by george
@@jezza1953 Yessir, they did. Such a shame. And I pretty much agree.
He certainly came up with brilliant riffs that enhanced everything the other two were tinkering with.
Let's not get carried away
He got the last laugh with All Things Must Pass, by far the best album by an ex-Beatle.
Great rendition by Joe Brown. Clean and all in place. Fantastic performance!
One of the best songs ever
He does to perfection no one could top this xx toshy Liverpool
Ol Joe did George proud on this song. Miss George. Seriously miss you and your music.
I've been listening to Joe since I was a kid and now I'm old but JB still looks the same, in fact, I look older now than he does!

Gracias George.
Ringo, Jim Capaldi, Ray Cooper on Percussion !
Mój idol , ta sama dusza , wrażliwość , kochany George ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I just adore listening to him singing. British accent and all. Love him.
Great to see my old friend Neil Gauntlett playing the intro here. He was a really clean player a sad loss to the music world.
oh he was, I saw this band several times at Halifax, West Yorks, and they were superb. We also lost Dave Rico Nilo in the band here, in the same year, 2009. Very sad, they were a superb line up of musicians.
@@ianbentley7276 I didn't know Dave Rico Nilo, but (quite a long tie ago now) I was in a band with Neil.
I was the guitarist and Neil player mainly steel. He was funny too.
My favourite winter morning song
Que momento lindo!
Gran despedida, actuaron amigos y grandes músicos. Para conmemorar su memoria. Estaba su familia y sus dos mejores amigos : Eric Clapton y Ringo Star.
Beautiful version of a Beautiful song
Wow i love this song lol 💕
I like the song sooooo beautiful greetings from 🇳🇱 HOLLAND
"Amanece que no es poco", we use to say in Spain.
Thank you George.
Happy Birthday George.
0:08 this guitar is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard
This sounds pretty good to me in late May 2020. Some motivation to carry on.
Una formidable conjuncion de voces y una buena melodia👍👏👏👏
talk about 4 old guys singing like something i would hear in heaven perfection
❤ So many of these artists are still young men in my mind's eye and now, nearly 20 years later, Billy Preston is playing the organ up in heaven with John & George. Of course, all old guys were once young men... I'm sure it feels like yesterday to them. Life comes at you fast and before you realize it, you're 40, then 50... 60... even older if you're lucky. Treasure every day of your life, as most will not realize when it's their last. ❤✌🎸❤✌🎸❤✌🎸❤✌🎸❤
Happy birthday george !!!!
Joe just knocks it out of the park as usual, something about that man I love!
Underrated cover.
Imagine being one of the 102 people to dislike this. So thankful I don't live in their world.
Wonderful!
Happy birthday George joes done a great job on you’re song
Rip George 🖤🕊️
Hermoso cover!
Go get em Joe.
Exquisite. Heartfelt.
