Winder (pronounced WINE-der)[6] is a city and the county seat of Barrow County, Georgia, United States.[7] It is located east of Atlanta and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The population was 14,099 at the 2010 census.

I love winder, it's rural but not too rural in the city. The people are very social and it's easy to make friends, I live in Gwinnett not barrow, but im saving up my money so i can rent out in winder, its more affordable than any other neighboring areas and I love the cities vibe and culture, it doesn't look like much at first glance, but winder is an amazing place with a lot of things to do no matter what time of day/night it is and i love the fact that the city doesnt tear down nature excessively to build suburban bullshit like Gwinnett, even in the built up areas, it still looks beautiful cuz the trees are still around

Winder... her up and let her go. lol !!😀 That's what I tell people who do not know how to pronounce our city correctly. It helps....lol !!! Been living here since 1980. I think I was only about 12 years when I moved here. It used to be considered being out in the country, but unfortunately our city/ county has grown too fast. Too many people from other counties, other states, and other countries have moved here. I can't believe how much it has grown. Personally.... I wish it was the way it used to be. Just a little country town. I wish we could go back to way it used to be. 😏

How can you tell ,they are everywhere but mostly around king ave
