2019. And still can't get over this Blue Earth combo, it's simply stunning, the visual arts and the lines delivered. Shit gives me goosebumps.
2020. It’s a huge reference to the Maxwell Extensions from Tales of Eternia. The combination to do it on the controller is the same as well.
The Blue Earth thing is the greatest nod to the series ever. There's absolutely nothing to give you hints on how to do that other than just...remembering the good ole days. Such a magnificent finish :)
i spy, with my little eye, references to Code Geass.
I still can't get over Expunging Sword, Shining Gate and this version of Blue Earth... they're visually outstanding!
Tales series really know how to turn magic/special attack into an overwhelming firework.
I love how the Maxwell chain from Tales of Eternia is in this game
@sakura739 All Blast Calibers are used by pressing L1 during Arles Rise. The gauge on the left fills up as you do damage to enemies. Starts at level 1, then goes up to 2, 3 is max. Depending what number it is, that's the Blast Caliber you'll use when you press L1, though you need to unlock additional Blast Calibers through titles.
The 4th Blast Caliber is gained through the epilogue, and used when you enter Accel Mode . Costumes have nothing to do with which Blast Caliber the character does.
GOD DAMN!! This is utterly Glorious! And gosh, I didn't know that Richard had Burning Phoenix!! which is freakin' rad!
@zanrokand88 well you don't really need the costume, I just recorded it with that one xD. Its just random when he does it.

This is pretty damn awesome. I love your Mystic Arte/Hi-Ougi exhibitions; I actually download them then put them on my iPhone to watch whenever. ^^;
I'm a little disappointed that you didn't use Impatient Blade somewhere in there (because that song rocks so hard) but that doesn't really matter.

I didn't know Malik's other attack dialogue changed when he's in that 'viking' costume... Other than that, the quality on this one looks much better than the previous one... and I just love the visual chaos from all that destruction lol
I'm very disappointed that we didn't get all the costumes. (Code Geass, Hatsune Miku, etc).
But at least we got Graces F in the West. The battle system is amazing, and futura arc story is amazing.

@TheAngelknights Tales of Graces was the original one released on the Wii. Graces F is the PS3 port, where the F stands for Future. It comes with additional content as well as a Future Arc after the main story which consists of another 10 or so hours of gameplay.
Malik at the end: "We beat you with Blue Earth, deal with it." XD
This game doesn't stop inovating!

@sakura739 You can also do them after doing 25, 50, and 75 hit combos after unlocking the titles, 25 being level 1, and so on. But those can only be activated once per battle between all party members.
When the Queen of Fodra uses her Mystic art by staring with the 2 big flame balls you then hold down buttons to go to her next mystic art and so on once you've down that after she has used all her mystic arts in a row you will then end the fight using Blue Earth.
@BirbiriChan Blue Earth extension makes sure to overkill so she can't live. I mean, you can TRY to have a case in which Blue Earth might NOT deal enough damage but that will require a LOT of time in which you're stuck at the base level and have stats that are so low you can't deal damage at all. Blue Earth is the counter extension to her entire BC to negate and heal the damage. If you don't counter back, then you automatically lose since everything from Brightest Gate forward kills.

Oh damn, that´s a great exhibition you did there. My favourites blast calibers are: Zero Dissolver of sophi, Instant Valse of Hubert, Bloody Rose of Richard, and G sword croos of Pascal. But what an arte from the last boss, all those numbers, ouch... And that last arte from everyone. that´s an ultimatum.
By the way, may I ask you which blast calibers are your favourites? just for curiosity.

You know what I find funny about Tales of Graces F coming to America. The fact that the three cameo Tales characters (Veigue, Kohak, and Reala) are all from Tales games that never came to America.
Sheesh. LOL Rebirth Extensions. When does Phodra queen end up doing the extensions? Or do you input them so that you can see it? XD
D: Pascal's 4th BC is amazingly awesome, I didn't think anything could top Karol's Gousenbakusatsu Ultra X Bomber, but wow.
Cheria's mystic arte Garden of Innocence is cool because it ties to the story of the game.
Is it possible to get everyones LVL 3 mystic arte after you start Lineage & Legacies?
Every time I see Asbel's 3rd BC, I just see Repede in human form.

Duel the Sun has officially joined the club. If I see either that or the classic Crazy Comet in future Tales games, there WILL be extensions of it. xD
@ 5:55 That string of spells is just like the Maxwell Extension from Tales of Eternia. They have the same name and it's in the same order. It's my favorite combo so it was easy to figure out where it came from. =D
So, question about these, does the costume depend on what Blast Caliber arte you're using? Or it is just like there's different buttons you have to press to choose one? (I would be kind of annoyed to be down to using only one ;-;)
@shodowlink lol, but normally you wouldent want to trigger the extentions when you are the target. So it's a clever fight ender. Forget Aurora Wave, this is the ultimate reversal.
I just got this game last week and I'm at the part where you fix the broken canon. I still haven't gotten the first blast caliber for Asbel, Sophie, Cherria, or pascal, and Malik already has his second.Am I doing something wrong?

@DarkFrozenDepths Yes, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't kill, it just leaves you at 1 hp. Meanwhile, solomos does almost the same amount of damage with both of his hi-ougi's AND they can actually down the fighters.
Cheria's Hyakkaryouran and Trillion Drive are probably the coolest Hi-Ougis ever.
Its sucks how the code geass and hatsune miku(?) costumes never came to america.
March 13th, 2012 cannot possibly come soon enough.

the only way to survive that is to pull off blue earth. to do that, you must punch all codes (that do not come up, btw) at the right sequence

Wait so... Blue Earth = instant win? So basically if she puts you into her blast caliber then you win? Does the damage that she dealt to you with her blast calibers accumulate on you or does Blue Earth negate that?

OH wait. So the of her using Dual the Sun near the end of her life regardless of Arles Break or not, is a chance for her to use the Extensions and then you own her with Blue Earth. Ahhh.. now I get it.
