the company we purchased carpet through used a "hair pad" - said it was more durable. It is very dense and does not feel like you're walking on a cloud at all! It is more expensive too - I kind of feel like we were "taken to the cleaners". Do you know anything about this pad?

Hey man, I live in a condo and piss my neighbors down below us off all the time. We had installed 7/16 6 lbs padding. Should that work or should we have gone with something else? I'm trying to figure out if it's the carpets fault or the construction of the building.

bryanbatton01 personally I link the 8# spillblock padding. It’s a great pad for the consumer and very installer friendly
