Reading this, I'm still confused about point 1 and 2. Feels contradicting lol
an important notice for all snowbound researchers: while the waterways of sami can provide a much faster form of travel, one must err on the side of caution when traversing them, for they can be as hazardous as they are serene. ergo, a few tips for those keen on travelling them:
only travel in proper, sami provided boats, and be sure to keep inside of them for the duration of the ride
do not feel tempted to fill your canteen from any main river source. the rivers contain hazardous debris and bacteria that can't be cleaned with conventional filters
do not feel tempted to look deep into the blackness of the waterways, fatigue and dizziness can occur, potentially leading to falling overboard

I love how the most important parts of the expedition are just cut out from the video (i am talking about the warning signs) and they just hopped back to the optimistic explorer tone really gives that false confidence and "everythings normal there" vibes.

@@yeenbaby2891I've read somewhere in Reddit that info about the collapsals is only known to the higher-ups of each country in Terra, and they actively suppress information about it, as, according to the info I've read, thoughts about collapsals, imagination, fear, perception, etc. give them power and allow them greater influence in the world.

@@RuiFanTierThe seaborns conquered Terra in IS3, they only stopped when Mizuki became Caerula Arbor to command them not to (iirc).

You just realized how Magallan is an ABSOLUTE CHAD when you know she built a freaking research station with very minimal help in the middle of icefields
The thing about that is that she used to go from the ursus side so she didny have too deal with too much of that stuff. Also if you read her module you can see how she broke 3 of the rules in the video.

Well, when the area your country is determined by how much landship you have, instead of how much land you have, you can see how the actual shape of the country doesnt really matter, but there is still the need for size and borders.

technically, the collapsals seem to exist beyond the foehn hotlands, after being pushed back by the sargonians and the khagan 1000 years ago. the seaborn are just weird creatures (actually bioengineered terraforming device gone crazy)

Arknights has such insane production quality and creative direction for its promotional material. It goes way above and beyond what any other game of its caliber (or even bigger games) goes for. Genshin is like "here's some footage of in-game landscapes with a quick voice over or a standard character intro animation", meanwhile AK is like "here's some incredibly detailed kaleidoscopic CGI and graphics that will only ever show up in this 15 second ad, or what looks like a montage from an anime but isn't actually part of the official show (yet?) and was also made just for this ad, or a three minute long overview of the world and its inhabitants with more hyper detailed CGI footage made exclusively for this video"
And this is why Arknights,and games that strive to be in the same league with equal attention to detail paid,will be far superior then basic n' unimpressive titles like Genshin Impact.

Funnily enough the object resembling human hand aka Frozen Claw had actually appeared since the first IS as the Cursed collectible, it buffs enemies (Ceobe Fungimist) and it's basically foreshadow the Sami and Collapsals lore since 4 year ago, and we finally get more lore to read
