Small thing I really love is that we've got a lot of symbols and ui designs carried over from Arknights... colored skills, the orange diamond notification, archetypes, it's all very familiar

Im SO glad they didnt go the Genshin route and make your teammates Dissapear until you tagged them in. Fighting with a full team like this just feels so much better to me.
Genshin need that to balance the game due to element reaction + mobile specs. This game probably doesn't have such a complex system (or release on mobile) so they can just throw it all in

Combining placement mechanics of Arknights with action combat sounds interesting.
it's not just action combat it's like an RTS (since you can see in the UI the attacks being selected and the team moving to enemies according to the selection) but an action like RTS
@@symphonixblades Very reminiscent of how Final Fantasy 7 remake did their squad based action-but-with-special-moves combat. Feels like the natural successor to the command style system games like Mass Effect and XCOM: The Bureau popularized.
The combat shown in the video looks very similar to the combat in Xenoblade.

I love how the combat still shows you can slow down the fight just like arknights when you aim/time your skills. That's so much fun. It's such a cool little thing I wish more games had in some way.

I am a big fan of that dragon age/rts combat style and you see all your party members in the semi-open world, looks better than I anticipated. ENDFIELD IS REAL
Exactly..but keep in mind this is very curated part that they want to show ...need to see more kind of combat approach and world content in hoping the world is not empty but so far from this short vid seems promising
But combat could do better. seem it only barebones now with what i can see a “break” mechanic. Let’s just hope it will be something more complex and enjoining. Like what arknigth can do.

Interesting, so the base building aspect plays like those factory building games like Satisfactory. Also, I love that the other characters are actually present and that we, the Endministrator seems to be an actual playable character. Very excited now

Is it action , though? That almost didn't look like one to me , because they were constantly attacking , there wasn't a single step during the fight.
@@NaeNzuko it doesn't seem action, more like you tap on the enemy and the characters will automatically attack...kinda like those old online RPG games.

In this gameplay i can conclude that :
1. The protagonist sword is look like sword that amiya would use
2. Chi xiao is weilded by someone other than chen would be like she was the next generation weilder

Like these are some of the best ive seen so far and the 3d models look amazing paired with the shading, combat feels unique and versatile and i love the base building mechanics!!!

Arknight is always unique with their gameplay, now it seems that Enfield will be a mix of open world - rpg with an element of factory building with resources management.
Reminds a bit more like rts games with the resource management. Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 1 focused on managing bases and Dawn of War 2 focused on squad combat. This feels like a mix of both with rpg elements.
More accurate description of gameplay is that its similar to Dragon Age, Neverwinter, FF12, and similar games of the like. Open World Real time party based action combat
The environment looks very similar to Wuthering waves but the UI, and specially the character design is way better. And i also like the game mechanics, it's unique.
I'm very much looking forward to this game!
Wow, this has ff vibes than Genshin. It’s a breath of fresh air.
Indeed, the whole base building process seems to be inspired by Reclamation Algorithm, and i like this. It feel more suited for this 3D open world setting. There is also a big Death Stranding vibe with how you install facilities on the fly to fit your needs. The menus are NEAT, especially the characters and team menu OMG !! For combats, i'll need to see more. I like the fact we keep the camera high like this, to keep a global fieldview (the strategics roots of Arknights), but it lack dynamism as a result. But either way, the new trailer and demo are insanely hyping ! \o/
Well, Reclamation algorithm just HG strategies to make arknights player familiar with endfield type of game play... It's smart move
Endfoeld has been in development far longer than Reclamation A has existed.
...Maybe that's exactly why it's called an algorithm! Learning this algorithm will help us in the future with Endfield, where the same algorithm is applied. Pretty neat detail.

Instead of teleporting, this game using zip-wire to fast travel across the map. Pretty cool tbh
there is fast travel, but yeah player build zipline is going to be so usefull to get everywhere that is within the player parameter

The similarities between endfield and death stranding are very close
Combat lacks impact. Looked like they were just hitting air when they were fighting. The rest tho top notch.
Lancet-2 inspired building, a tech with Rhine Lab's cross pattern, Chi Xiao-wielding girl with Chen as her family name and black-red themed weaponry similar to Amiya's arts? Can't wait to see more reference to the OG Arknights.
oh wow looks much better than I expected in 4k. Fingers crossed for 120 hz and ultrawide support. The UI elements and transition look smooth and fluid. Seems like we can construct ziplines around the world like Death Stranding game.

I am glad they switched it from tower defense to a rpg squad battle style. This will reel in more players and hopefully it gets turned into a anime. Its still that good for a animation.
In my opinion, it will be really cool if you can add some synergy attack between the character of that 4. You can try to see the FFXV combat system, and the main character can do synergy attack between the teammates. I believe it will be really cool to add here

It looks so different with other games with similar genre. Seems like Endfield emphasizes more on building and constructing industry while maintain exciting combat experience. We will see more on CBT soon
Just like OG Arknights. Yes it's a gacha, but their gameplay and mechanics are super unique and interesting compared to the rest of the market. They're not afraid of doing their own thing.

They keep working on this game and didn't hype it whatsoever since March 2022, and the result is already giga-impressive. We put our trust in you, and you delivered, Hypergryph!
Honestly,not hyping it was the correct choice imo. We've seen what happen when a game is over-hyped
Considering this game may be the first real competition for Genshin Impact (which that game really needs), it would do them good not to hype it up too much. Take the time, letting us wait patiently. When they have the game ready and it releases, it will be a two part gain for us.
1. A new enjoyable game which already looks amazing.
2. Genshin will be pushed against the wall and need to start pushing back. They may start to show improvement of all different sorts and then players of that area can start to enjoy that game once again.
People have enjoyed Arknights since day one and it was taking over the world for a while there. If they do this right, they'll manage to get back to that point.

The UI looks so damn clean! Everything just looks both simple enough to navigate yet complex enough to be fun how things shift around like when they were assembling their characters.

Now that Wuthering Waves is out, gotta say I like Arknight Endfield's map UI and its mechanic a lot more than WW. WW should just copy GI new map layout, camera work and fix their damn target lock to make its gameplay great
yeah, i can only force myself to play WW for a week just to get all echo and free stuff then move on, cuz everything about them feels like playing GI from zero again, also have the same complaint as you, their targeting systems are really awful.
I really really love the overall aesthetic of the game like when I first heard about arknights making a 3D open world game this is definitely the vibe I was hoping for and the devs really delivered on that 100%. Another thing I love is that the characters we pick actually is walking around and fighting along side us it’s reminds me of Xenoblade I am definitely a fan of that feature. I really can’t wait for this game to drop even tho it’s been a long time since I played arknights I am definitely gonna be coming back into its universe with this game for sure 🥰

Insane. It looks like such an amazing open-world action rpg, yet it still feels like Arknights? It's like you can see how original the game is just by looking at the characters and how they move and look. Also the base building and the fighting mechanic keeps you kind of "in charge", not a solo combatant making a difference all over the place.
Its not open world. You can see from the map when he opens the ui its small corridors that split mini gameplay areas.

Great color palette, kinda makes me think of Reclamation Algorithm's theme. I'm really excited for this, whether it's directly related or just subtle nods to the Arknights we know, it seems pretty nice either way.
I can see some inspiration from other games here: the combat screams Xenoblade Chronicle/FF 12 and the facility building to help with traversing is Death Stranding. Stoked to see how this is gonna turn out.
Let us all pray that they add a dark theme mode for the loading screen 🙏🙏🙏
this is interesting, it's different from the tower defense-style combat in mobile game and not to mention that you can roam freely and attack enemies similar to xenoblade and such, can't wait to play it in the future!!!

Oh boy, my 9 years old laptop definitely couldn't support this...
i feel like people are not understanding that not having vibrant colors is an art direction too and this world looks great imo cant wait to explore it
This is good start no over crowding of mobs, buildings seems easy and enjoyable, grinding might take time but still not seen in this test, graphics are good, bugs are going to appear that's fine, travelling mechanics are sublime, the combat can do a little bit more activity and action in the mob's part. The test seems to show a lot of the game, hopefully it won't have game breaking bugs when the beta test release.
This is just... Wow. HG really cooked with this gameplay demo. Looking forward to future news, demos and whatnot and its release!

Death Stranding meets Fantasy Star, is quite a leap from the first game.
If the finished product is as polished as this demo, then this game is going places. As long HG doesn’t follow Hoyo in term of greed, it will be an enjoyable experience.
