I remember renting this game a few times. I loved playing that girl in the cowboy boots & shorts. ^.^ I seem to recall this game came out around the same time as the first Dynasty Warriors. I could be remembering that wrong though. Been forever... ;o
Funniest thing is the Crash Bash demo WAS the full game, if you entered the "unlock all" cheat code, you got the entire game!!! And that game you described sounds like Psychic Force.
Yeah I played the Medieval 2 demo obsessively, I loved the way the zombies got sliced up and that you could set them on fire! It had a fight with a dinosaur skeleton I think, and I never saw the rest of the game
I think it actually came on a Pizza Hut demo disc in the States. It had Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider 3 I think...and some other gems. Such good memories.
My older brother had a load of demo discs and for a moment in my naive youth thought that games were just 1 or 2 levels. I was a gaming God , I "completed" many games.

YES!! HOGS OF WAR!! I loved this game so much, I finally got the full version at some point. I lost my disc years later and then ended up buying it again for my PS Vita. Happy this game gets some kind of credit somewhere!
I kind of have a early PS1 story. I grew up kinda poor and all I really had for a while was a GameBoy Color and some unpopular Gameboy Games. So when I was 6, I saw some kids playing Spyro the Dragon 1, and my little mind was blown! But it wasn't until I was 11 that I got to watch more of the game on RUclips. It wasn't until I scratched up $80 from a crappy job I had when I was nearly 20, I finally bought an original model PSP, as well as the Crash and Spyro trilogies. It felt so good to finally play games that I had only looked from a distance. (Didn't mean to be long!) But I guess the lesson is to never give up looking for something, especially a game, even if it takes years, to finally play it for yourself. *runs off to play Spyro*

Cavey Möth I’m having a helluva time trying to find a physical copy of Armored Core to go with my copy of Project Phantasma. I’m a huge fan of the series, but I’ve never played the original three games.
This entry resonates with me, having acquired demo discs as a kid from my older relatives and no money to buy the full versions. Tomba, Einhander, Medievil, and Brave Fencer Musashi are the ones that stand out in my mind. I would wander the available map in Tomba without triggering the end of the demo. I replayed the first stage in Einhander trying to find all the different bonuses. Medievil had a time limit and I would speed run the game to try to see more content. Brave Fencer Musashi was just good in general; I happened to see it on the store shelf later on and got my mother to forward my allowance for 3 weeks to get the game right then. Totally worth it and I wouldn't have known that without demo discs. Jade Cocoon 1: Having played the game to completion, I was honestly dissatisfied with it. Without getting into spoilers, there comes a point in the game where you can't backtrack to old areas if you want specific monsters and the game's environment turns, for lack of better words, dull and repetitive, and also you have to endure that animation for merging/etc. over and over. Blood Omen: I found this game in a bargain bin at a Roses and recognized it after playing Soul Reaver. The dialogue thing here is spot on, and quite possibly why I didn't finish it. I'll get around to it eventually. Crash Bash: Played the full version in single player mode only but found it very enjoyable.
I was born in 2001 and never got to experience PS1 games, but after watching your videos for awhile I realized there were great classic games that I missed out on. Today I bought my first console on my own. Thanks for inspiring with these Friday Features Rob!
Wow I'm only 5 years older than you and I had a ps1. Lol i got it around 2001 now that I think about it. But I've only had a ps4 for about 3 months. Still mad that ps5 is coming so soon after I got a ps4
In Germany we had a demo of Music 2000 once. A game where you could create your own peace of music by putting together different samples of beats and vocals and stuff. It was amazing and I played it for ages.
By far my favorite PSOne demo was Silent Hill. I remember how the camera angles twisted in the alleyway as Harry turned the corner into the dark world and those creepy little zombie-children. I'd been watching horror movies since as long as I can remember and that demo struck all the right cords with me. Then when I bought the game later, my best friend, his dad, and I played it in its entirety one night and it was probably one of the best gaming memories I have (especially when all three of us were too scared to open the locker in the dark world school for fear of a giant skinless cat monster, lol).
Abe's odyssey, me and my brothers played the demo to death on the PS1 but we never owned the game. I remember the game developers didn't end the game by just giving you an endpoint. They did it by making the first area after the first level of the game untraversable. What I mean by that is that they littered the entire area with bombs. If you hit a bomb you don't respawn but you get to see screenshots of the rest of the game. For some reason me and my brothers thought that if we were able to get past the bombs we'd somehow be able to play the rest of the game (which was of course impossible). I am cheating a little with this one since I did get the Abe: new and tasty game.
I also played the hell out of the demo of this. So when my cousin got the full game and I got to play it over his place one time and I finally got into the holding pen area and was experiencing new content, it was surreal.
I never played any of those demos so I am gonna post some of my favourites: - Disney Hercules - Music - Legacy of Kain - Abe´s Exodus - Tomba! - Syphon Filter - klonoa
Thank you! I played the heck out of the demo disc. To share some good news with a fellow fan of that demo disc, I actually found a copy after searching for so many years. Fresh sealed. Now im saving it for a special day to start it up.
Rollcage, Kula World, Pandemonium, Point Blank 2, Syphon Filter, Dino Crisis, Music, Vib Ribbon, Legend of Dragoon, Medievil... come to mind first for me, played all these so much but never owned them, on PS1 anyway, I bought and played Dino Crisis and Legend of Dragoon at a much later date (great games), as in post PS2.
I played the Legend of Dragoon demo at Wal-mart played for like an hour and loved it! Got it that Christmas. Although giving the Urobourous infinite HP was kinda BS.
Ah man, my childhood! Personal favourites were Tombi/Tomba, Jade Cocoon, Metal Gear Solid and, of course, that one demo disc that was a collection of Net Yaroze games. That one in particular holds a lot of memories, namely me and my brother pouring hours into the game "inspired" by Sensible Soccer.
@@WhiteWolf-ho4yx yeah I remember them being on a few discs, but this one disc in particular had a collection of at least 20 Yaroze games on there and it was pure brilliance.
Blood Omen still stands as one of my favourite games of all times. The narration and tone was perfect. Vae victis! I must admit I come from a different generation of PS1 demos: overboard, wipeout 2097, ridge racer, battle arena toshinden, tekken.
Gotta thank the ps2 demo of medal of Honor Frontline, it got me into first person shooters. Big thanks demos such as ape escape, twisted metal 2, spyro, wwf war zone, crash bandicoot, and many more
Oh, man...the Twisted Metal 2 demo was the straight dope!! The copy I owned had a 10 minute "motion-comic" animated cinematic, telling the story of Calypso and how he came to power. I'll never forget the guy laying in a pool of his own blood, screaming "Calypso!!! Calypso, what have you done? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?! Never even touched the full game, but my brother and I battled for days on that demo
Tiny Tank. I remember playing it over and over on a demo disc I got with my PS1. I never got to play the full game though! I got the full spiderman game that was on the demo disc though.
The demo for Kula World. Literally never knew what it was called until Cadicarus mentioned it in one of his videos. But holy hell. Playing as a beach ball rolling from platform to platform changing angles was boggling to 4 year old me
OMG Tombi 2 on PS1. I replayed the first level of that game so many times!!! Wanted to get it a few years back but it's incredibly rare and expensive xD loved that Demo! Thanks Rob for another great Friday feature to make my wait for Red Dead 2 to download better! 😂
Ahhh I played the demo of the first one and it immediately popped into my head when I saw the title of this video! I couldn't remember the name but somehow Google was able to make sense of my very vague gameplay description. Oops, it actually was Tomba 2 that I played, not 1. The one where you had to put out the fire. :D
Yeah, i played both tombas on demo when I was but a young soul. Luckily found them both on PlayStation 3's store and had a lovely time reminiscing about biting pigs then throwing them at stuff. Ahh such memories of strange quirky games. Thanks for mentioning it!
I hope you see this comment! Thank you soooooo much for giving Rik a mention! I'm a huge Rik fan! I met him twice and always thought he deserves more recognition. I love this channel...and I love hogs of war...and I love the Friday features...and hearing those words of respect for The Rik Mayall....we'll played. You too are a legend Rob!
G-Police for me! Spent ages tooling around in that demo. Oh and Hitman 2: Stealth Assassin. The demo was the whole Anathema level. I learned that house and garden backwards, it was pretty much a game in itself. )
For me my experience with this was the time I played a demo of Brave Denver Musashi for the original PlayStation. I wanted to buy the full game, but I could never find a copy in my town.
Team Buddies was my favorite demo I played over and over. I've played the full game since, to the point to whenever I get a chance to emulate it, I usually do. Hogs of War reminds me of that a bit.
I loved Demo One - I had the one with Tenka, Overboard!, Porsche Challenge, Kurushi and some other stuff. I LOVED that disc so much! Overboard was probably my favourite...and I never bought it 😂
Ahh yes. It all comes back to me now. I remember playing the demo’s on the disc so many times over. And explored any/every content on that disc available. But you’re right, it was Overboard that i kept playing, restart demo and played it again. Had few other demo discs back then. One with Abe & Twisted Metal as playable demo’s.
Dragonfury3000 had no clue why they included this on the demo. Now that i look back. I can understand why they did so, and i get it.. Showcase a tech demo for what the PS1 could and/or was capable of doing. Though, it looked amazing for what it was. I still preferred game demo’s that i could actually play. Does anyone remember the videos of games & trailers that are on the demo. I can’t think of any that left an impression to this day. But hours of replaying the same game demo, did leave fund memories of playing it a lot.
I have like 20 demo discs. My favourite games were blitter boy, Kyla world, medieval, Spyro and tombi. I had a soft spot for net yaroze games which is why I brought them.
I remember a net yaroze demo disk and some of them were cool like Terra Incognito. At the time I didn't understand what a net yaroze was and it blew my mind
@@kclink1579 Oh wow i'd forgotten about that one. Rocks and Gems was so addictive! I think i got pretty good at it in the end. I also remember a weird demo where there were tons of babies crawling around an area and you had to keep them safe from monsters that looked like they had escaped from pac man. If you shot your ray gun at them, they turned into fruit i think. you could get the babies to follow you and i think maybe you had to lead them to safety. its a fuzzy memory, but i played it a lot back in the day.
still good to see that this series is the strongest and most viewed series on the channel. keep up the great work rob, the others need you more than they think
the only demo disk i got was one the of three pizza hut three demo's in one it had spyro the dragon rypto's rage tomb raider three and soul revear i only played spyro as a kid becuse at the time the other two scared me to no end. can any remember this point and click andventure game of kids that had you play as a green one eye creature that goes to a haunted mansion to rescue kidnapped celebrities with a mysterie of who the female narrator was ?
One of my fave demos was definitely Sled Storm among a few of those you mentioned in the video too! Destrega as well but I just remembered it when i heard the name! This video gave me real nostalgia feels, better, simpler times. Thank you for this!
You've hit the nostalgia spot with this one! I'm so glad to see such a long mention of Jade Cocoon! Never played the demo but couldn't finish the game since it was in French and my French wasn't good enough yet. Was there even monster merging in the demo? My boi Patalchu.
Jade Cocoon legit needs a full anime show or movie, I love the effort they put into that gorgeous intro. I did eventually get the game but Legend of Legaia was my favorite and most memorable demo.
Jadecocoon is my personal favorite game. First time spending hundreds of hours in a game and the soundtrack is simple, yet beautiful and sets the tone for the scenes perfectly. Glad to see a shout out to one the most hidden gems for the console.
Unless you have a PS1 and memory card...DON'T buy the game! Playing on PS3 causes a glitch 2/3 of the way in and you can't finish it. Bought it earlier this year and that left me really salty.
I remember there was this one demo where you collect stars in a sort of maze like map and avoid zombies. I have no idea what it was called, but it had amazing music on the background and after collecting all the "stars" you could get to the next level which was even harder. I think that same demo disc had a mahjong game as well.
my 20 year seach for 40 winks has finally come to an end nobody in my hometown seems to remember that game and i was a bit to young to remember what it was called thnx bro
Awesome video. I had a few demos that I never got around to owning the game that I loved so much. Would be great to do another video but of games you continuously rented and couldn't buy.
Ok who remembers these demos: Unholy war, Code name: Tenka, Kurushi/Intelegant Qube, Star Trek Invasion, Z, Tia Fu, Shadow Master and Smash Court Tennis. They were so good i played them all the time. Please Playstation Access can you play the old demos on the channel that would be amazing.
Kurushi!!! such an odd game that me and my friends shouldn't have liked but we ended up having a sleepover and played nothing but that demo.....actually maybe we also played the Test Drive demo too. :D
I remember those..also that pirate ship game, think it was called overboard? And time crisis 1. But my favourite thing ever on a PS1 demo disc was the PS1 peripheral video with those two shoalin monks!
Oh my god I remember Intelligent Cube, also there's this diving game that I remember where you are searching for treasure or something and there are sea creatures and I always got killed lol
Hope someone can help me with the name of this ps1 game: it's like a super smash bros game with stages with multiple levels and items and you have to fight against another person. Colours where also rather dark, brown like. That's all i can remember.
My favourite Sony PlayStation demos were THPS, Crash Bash, Syphon Filter and Hogs of war. I never bought THPS but DID buy THPS2 when it came out, Crash Bash was a demo I played for hours and hours but never bought. Syphon filter was a great demo and I always wanted the game but never got it. Hogs of war was and STILL IS, my all time favourite Sony Playstation game! I loved the demo discs with the magazine's, some like this video shows, gave as much entertainment as a full game, and many lead to me buying the full game and loving it. Great list this week Rob, thanks!
Rob the game you're looking for is "Destrega". Thumb up the comment so rob can enjoy the game.
You are the man!
Holy krapp that game was amazing
I remember renting this game a few times. I loved playing that girl in the cowboy boots & shorts. ^.^
I seem to recall this game came out around the same time as the first Dynasty Warriors. I could be remembering that wrong though. Been forever... ;o
And destrega was on the same demo disc as fighting force, kingsley’s adventure, spyro 2...
OMG, Destrega I had litteraly foorgotten this game. I can't even remember where and how I played it. Thank you, you just made my day :)
Destrega. I have seen one other person say it here.
checking it right away
Ya boy got it in one
I literally said it first and got ignored by the Friday team haha. Look at the most thumbed up comment in this comment section haha.
Did that even make it to full game?
neb yep it did :)
Funniest thing is the Crash Bash demo WAS the full game, if you entered the "unlock all" cheat code, you got the entire game!!!
And that game you described sounds like Psychic Force.
*Hello, you.*
Yeah! It's crazy that the full game was accessable the entire time!
Oh yeah, Destrega, Kingsley and Jade Cocoon were some of mine, also:
-Net Yaroze (mainly Haunted Maze, Psychon, Pushy II and Blitter Boy)
-Medievil
-Tombi
-Omega Boost
-Speed Freaks
-Total Drivin'
-Championship Motocross
Pushy II!! - I thought I was the only one to love this net yaroze classic
Truly, Hogs of War has to be one of the finest and most addictive multi-players on PS1
Literally binge watching all the Friday features because Rob is just too good with his script and jokes and everything😂
Ditto! Although, it's more because for some weird reason the bell got turned off. So I haven't gotten the notifications for two months.

Medieval... I never ever had the game but the demo was great.
This is the one I hoped to see in this video!!! This was my most memorable demo disc game for sure.
Yeah I played the Medieval 2 demo obsessively, I loved the way the zombies got sliced up and that you could set them on fire! It had a fight with a dinosaur skeleton I think, and I never saw the rest of the game

Medievil was ace! Was my first PlayStation game lol.
Even had the sequel!
I am thinking of buying a ps1 soon... I have spyro trilogy, crash team racing, and yugioh. Not sure what else to get? Croc, medieval, crash bash.
My older brother had a load of demo discs and for a moment in my naive youth thought that games were just 1 or 2 levels. I was a gaming God , I "completed" many games.
Ricki.B 1993 same.

I have those Pizza Hut discs!
Pizza Hut and game companies need to bring that kind of stuff back. I even remember when they gave away DVD’s as rewards.
I put at least 50 hours into that demo!
Wow that was part of my childhood to
Top 7 trophies we could not have gotton without youtube help

3. Beat tough boss trophies (strategy to kill the enemy)
4. No hit trophies (mastering a section)
as some examples.
Ever tried doing a cod zombies easter egg trophy? Impossible without youtube
Tomba! God I loved that demo. Still kinda sad about never actually getting to play the full game. Should probably do something about that, huh.
PlayStation classic perhaps. I'm sure it's on there. I can call myself lucky because I bought Tombi 1 and 2 on a garage sale for 10 euros each.
Tombi (as it was known where I am) I sank so many hours into. I miss the game!
@@AngryKatteGaming YEEEES!!! I thought I was losing my mind all this time. It was tombi
Yes!! Amazing demo. Recently bought it on my PS3 and absolutely loving it

Those were the days. Kinda wish I could go back to that time in gaming TBH.
Yeah they were amazing.

My “million times demo never owned” game was Parappa the Rappa. I must have played “kick, punch, it’s all in the mind!” About 500 times. Hahaha
You gotta believe!!!
Same here!
Oh man, right in the feels. Need to get me a copy of that game.

YES I PLAYED THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN
You just punched my nostalgia bone

Thanks for inspiring with these Friday Features Rob!
haha doesn't that make you like 17 should have used birthdays and christmases to get one earlier sir
Wow I'm only 5 years older than you and I had a ps1. Lol i got it around 2001 now that I think about it. But I've only had a ps4 for about 3 months. Still mad that ps5 is coming so soon after I got a ps4
That’s dope bro hope you will enjoy it as much as I did when it first came out
I was born in 2001 and had a psx
Randy Bradley nice one smartass. Obv no but its coming soon
So when my cousin got the full game and I got to play it over his place one time and I finally got into the holding pen area and was experiencing new content, it was surreal.
haha same, i played that demo to death
Even if you hack the demo and survive the death trap, there's nothing to see ahead.
Oh my.. I was thinking what kind of demo game I've had played during the ps1 era, but this was one of them!! Hello, hello, follow me, ok!!
I have it for ps4 loved it on ps1
I got a Tony hawk demo with a pizza hut offer back in the day, never bought the game later but played the demo so many times it's uncanny
I remember the ps2 came with a demo disc and lots of games. Played them over and over
yeah..
I remember those days. Those times were the best.
I was so attached to one demo that I just needed to get the game.
I never played any of those demos so I am gonna post some of my favourites:
- Disney Hercules
- Music
- Legacy of Kain
- Abe´s Exodus
- Tomba!
- Syphon Filter
- klonoa
I got Hercules in my first ever bundle of games! Some classic Phil lines in there
You absolutely nailed that "Please help me kind sir" impression
I had Brave Fencer Musashi. Absolutely loved that demo disc!!
All of those Squaresoft demo discs were a blast. ^.^
"Let's Do It!"
Same! I was addicted Brave Fencer, MGS and Cool Boarders demos lol.
Thank you! I played the heck out of the demo disc.
To share some good news with a fellow fan of that demo disc, I actually found a copy after searching for so many years.
Fresh sealed. Now im saving it for a special day to start it up.
I did not remember this title like 7th demo in checklist =;] thanks
Rollcage, Kula World, Pandemonium, Point Blank 2, Syphon Filter, Dino Crisis, Music, Vib Ribbon, Legend of Dragoon, Medievil... come to mind first for me, played all these so much but never owned them, on PS1 anyway, I bought and played Dino Crisis and Legend of Dragoon at a much later date (great games), as in post PS2.
I played the Legend of Dragoon demo at Wal-mart played for like an hour and loved it! Got it that Christmas. Although giving the Urobourous infinite HP was kinda BS.
Omg music I spent hours on that demo
Syphon Filter ftw.
Hot damn, Syphon Filter! Legend of Dragoon and Medievil are both aces, but Syphon Filter 1&2 are little spoken of classics.
Kula World, definitely. The amount of time I played that silly ball game for was unreal.
Yes mate!!! Tombi
Dudeeee, Net Yaroze. That thing was awesome 😂🤣 my favourite was the one with the mazes
Didn’t they put the yarozee games on the discs fairly regularly? I remember playing a few that were actually pretty good.
@@WhiteWolf-ho4yx yeah I remember them being on a few discs, but this one disc in particular had a collection of at least 20 Yaroze games on there and it was pure brilliance.
The Nostalgia and the truth behind the excitement of each release was real.
Blood Omen still stands as one of my favourite games of all times. The narration and tone was perfect. Vae victis! I must admit I come from a different generation of PS1 demos: overboard, wipeout 2097, ridge racer, battle arena toshinden, tekken.
I loved Hogs of War! Got the full game. Some of the most fun I've had gaming. Also RIP Rik Mayall.
I'm glad Rob mention this. Such a genius comic.
I bet this game is still brilliant on multiplayer.
Demo disc 42 had that massive Net Yaroze collection, Haunted Maze and Clone were incredible Halloween games ♡
Rock n gems :)
I still have that love net yaroze
That's the one that I immediately thought of. Rocks and Gems was my favourite.
The classical music
Gotta thank the ps2 demo of medal of Honor Frontline, it got me into first person shooters.
Big thanks demos such as ape escape, twisted metal 2, spyro, wwf war zone, crash bandicoot, and many more
Tony Sorrow hahaha putting on bots and playing split screen!!
For some reason, I read your name as. Tony Sparrow...
I watched the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo VHS every day fot a whole year before I owed the game
Tiny Tank. I remember playing it over and over on a demo disc I got with my PS1.
I never got to play the full game though! I got the full spiderman game that was on the demo disc though.
The demo for Kula World. Literally never knew what it was called until Cadicarus mentioned it in one of his videos. But holy hell. Playing as a beach ball rolling from platform to platform changing angles was boggling to 4 year old me
I loved Kula World
That’s my most played PS1 Demo as well. The memories!
my 4 year old brain was amazed by those 3D puzzles
Lol omg I remember that demo
Yeah, i played both tombas on demo when I was but a young soul. Luckily found them both on PlayStation 3's store and had a lovely time reminiscing about biting pigs then throwing them at stuff. Ahh such memories of strange quirky games. Thanks for mentioning it!
This hits me hard! I very miss demo discs
:( Jade Cocoon, Command an Conquer, Fighting Force 2 and Crash Bash ofcourse ♥️
Kula World !!!!!!! And also Demo 1 itself. That underwater theme and music.
PS1 Game in the Thumbnail
PS1 Game in the Title
Still Hold PS4 Controller
He's talking about the games, not playing them. He's probably playing PES.
@@_fadingcolors probably Red Dead Redemption 2
Do ps2 demo discs next. I remember the one that had the original battlefront on it. I played that Endor level forever.
GilGalad 62 or you could leave those decisions up to professionals and stop making demands like a child.
Steve Martinez shut up
Matt Honnor lol that’ll work.
G-Police for me! Spent ages tooling around in that demo. Oh and Hitman 2: Stealth Assassin. The demo was the whole Anathema level. I learned that house and garden backwards, it was pretty much a game in itself. )
That game is good!
Heck yeah! I played the G-Police demo so much!
PLEASE HELP ME KIND SIR !
BLAUGHRAGHARGHHAA!
how?
I loved Demo One - I had the one with Tenka, Overboard!, Porsche Challenge, Kurushi and some other stuff. I LOVED that disc so much! Overboard was probably my favourite...and I never bought it 😂
And that t-rex and mantra thing
@@Dragonfury3000 yes! I think they were supposed to be tech demos or something? Weirdly fascinating!
@@dearone1 yeah those were tech demos
Don't forget some demo discs had exclusive indie games to play.
I remember watching my brother and friend playing the tombi demo for hours
I swear me and Rob had the same childhood. I've been looking for that 'Destraga' fighting game for years as well!
still good to see that this series is the strongest and most viewed series on the channel. keep up the great work rob, the others need you more than they think
the only demo disk i got was one the of three pizza hut three demo's in one it had spyro the dragon rypto's rage tomb raider three and soul revear i only played spyro as a kid becuse at the time the other two scared me to no end.
can any remember this point and click andventure game of kids that had you play as a green one eye creature that goes to a haunted mansion to rescue kidnapped celebrities with a mysterie of who the female narrator was ?
my one had spyro and medievil, which i played like crazy
"Why was there never a sequel for this game!?"
*looks at video title*
Oh
I owned and fell in love with Crash Bash
Bloody Roar, Jet Moto 2, and Coolboarders 2 where 3 of the gems that defined my childhood.
One of my fave demos was definitely Sled Storm among a few of those you mentioned in the video too! Destrega as well but I just remembered it when i heard the name! This video gave me real nostalgia feels, better, simpler times. Thank you for this!
Spyro 1, ninja shadow of darkness and metal gear solid were my favorite demos.
Definitely Destrega. I knew immediately what you were referring to.
the close punch, further powers was dead giveaway !
ghost in the shell for the ps1 is my demo that I played to death but never got the actual game
I loved this demo! I could never get an A though when I finished the Training level or the one campaign mode you have access to
You could do a spin-off video where you talk about games you rented from a video store but never owned. Man I miss those demo desks.
You've hit the nostalgia spot with this one!
I'm so glad to see such a long mention of Jade Cocoon! Never played the demo but couldn't finish the game since it was in French and my French wasn't good enough yet. Was there even monster merging in the demo? My boi Patalchu.
Future cop LAPD!
The full game was great!
Great shout , loved that demo.
Multiplayer bliss: Precinct assault: hover tanks, turrets, points, crying, beautiful.
That was the transforming police vehicle shooter? I remember playing that, was very hard though. I loved that and the first G-Police.
Precinct Assault was fantastic
If I remember, some games were accompanied by a selection of demos as well.
I have paused red dead redemption 2 to watch this, that's how much Rob means.
Haha, realtalk
Jade Cocoon legit needs a full anime show or movie, I love the effort they put into that gorgeous intro. I did eventually get the game but Legend of Legaia was my favorite and most memorable demo.
Jadecocoon is my personal favorite game. First time spending hundreds of hours in a game and the soundtrack is simple, yet beautiful and sets the tone for the scenes perfectly. Glad to see a shout out to one the most hidden gems for the console.
Ahh crash bash, what a game! Thanks for the nostalgia Rob😃
It was such a good multiplayer game! I never actually saw the demo but I owned it as I was a huge crash fan.
I still have my demo discs.
Still never played the full Spyro the Dragon.
legend of legaia, still have the demo in its barely intact paper disc holder, still don't own the actual game
Unless you have a PS1 and memory card...DON'T buy the game! Playing on PS3 causes a glitch 2/3 of the way in and you can't finish it. Bought it earlier this year and that left me really salty.
Man, I loved that game. To this day I've never gotten everything in it.
That game had awesome summons
i played it on a ps1 emulator and finished it :D
Do you like my brother? Face turns brightest red I've ever seen.
Hey, You found me in this cave, I'm not supposed to be here but this is a demo.
Mine was.... Medieval.... I know, the shame :( I loved the demo played it numerous times!
I played the demo, and my Mum bought it me for either a birthday or christmas... I played it soo much that I 100% it :D
No shame in that, Medievil was awesome
@@MasterOfNone13 The shame was that I never owned it! :) Agreed PS classic.
That demo was awesome!
What about the Ps2 Demos?
I would not be surprised if *Steambot Chronicles* was on the list. It was very well received after all.
I’m having a knee operation on November 5th, but red dead redemption 2 is out so I’m definitely going to have something to do:)
Good luck
Brendan Keller thanks:)
Awesome video. I had a few demos that I never got around to owning the game that I loved so much. Would be great to do another video but of games you continuously rented and couldn't buy.
I played the original oddworld demo and always can remember that one murmuring sound
Unholy war was amazing lol!!
Kurushi!!! such an odd game that me and my friends shouldn't have liked but we ended up having a sleepover and played nothing but that demo.....actually maybe we also played the Test Drive demo too.
Blood omen was actually amazing
Hope someone can help me with the name of this ps1 game: it's like a super smash bros game with stages with multiple levels and items and you have to fight against another person. Colours where also rather dark, brown like. That's all i can remember.
Bloodlines maybe?
@@leosault yes! That's it! Thanks!
Rob said like one sentence and I knew it was Destrega such a fun frantic fighter
