This XBOX360 Store closure just annoys me. What will be forever lost to time will be XBOX Original Classic titles, XBOX360 Arcade titles, XBOX360 Games on Demand Titles, XBOX Themes,XBOX Gamerpics,XBOX Avatar Content and not only will the prices for Non Backwards Compatible Physical Games will skyrocket as a response to this closure but what upsets me the most is all of the DLC that is going to be unobtainable making Achievement Hunting completely irrelevant knowing you will never be able to 100% them especially if the Multiplayer component has shut down or DLC has been delisted. To me the whole idea of the "All Digital Future" looks bleak and sooner or later it will get to the point in which we will own nothing and delistings will frequently happen on a day to day basis and there will be nothing we can do about it. Games Preservation on the XBOX360 is a must since clearly Microsoft doesn't care for their Legacy content but with limited funds we can only preserve so much and this store closure makes me so damn mad and frustrated knowing I wished I could have preserved a lot more. All in all I am going to miss the times spent online on the XBOX360 and with the storefront being shut down the next step will be a total closure of the XBOX360 Game Servers and imagine all of those people who bought every Call of Duty XBOX360 Map Pack and yet Microsoft took the money and left you with nothing by closing down the COD game servers. This is the harsh reality of things to come.
@BRUTALSHANZ1988 I agree, it definitely sucks that so much will be lost. And sadly, there's not much we can do. This is exactly why I prefer owning physical copies of games, because you'll always own that disk. So many good memories on the Xbox 360, this is the end of an era

@@FirefoxFan98 If I was you I would hunt now for any XBOX360 game that has the "Game of the Year" branding as all of the games DLC will still be available within these editions but in due time the prices for these games will shoot up in value over time. For example Fallout 3 Game of the Year will have the full base game as well as all 5 DLC files in one complete package. These editions are now going to be sought after and scalpers will take notice of this as a result of Microsoft's actions so act fast before it's too late.
Does anyone in the xbox community know if the modders are going to bring back everything from the store eventually? i hopeeee soooo. Homebrew was able to with e shop. So are there seriously no moddere trying to get everything back for us? or is it just all gone like that?
I'm honestly feeling like Martin Walker at the end of Spec Ops: The Line at the Xbox 360 store closing. It is what it is, though. Have plenty of 360 games on my backlog and I got deals such as NFS Rivals for $2 and Homefront for literally 50 cents.

And yes, if you didn't know, there is a big sale for a lot of 360 games. I'd say hurry and take advantage of it now! This is literally the final weekend! There is a list somewhere showing all games that are on sale

The games I'm mainly focused on is non-backwards compatible 360 games (most of them would be indie games) then their DLC's. Then look into getting Themes and Gamer pics if you want and lastly avatar items.
360 games that are backwards compatible is on the bottom of my list as I'll have time to accumulate money and be ready for the next sale they get.

I'm surprised it lasted this long, honestly. Nintendo killed their Wii servers five years ago. Sony made a few attempts over the years and rescinded them in the 11th hour. Getting almost 19 years is actually pretty damned good. Though it is sad to see it go. I DO wish Microsoft would put out an official update for all the XBLIGs that people have so they don't need to log into an online account to access them.

I absolutely hated the fact that people treated the attempted shutdown of the PS3 store with such vigor and backlash that it forced Sony to change their decision.
Yet when it comes to the closure of the 360 store,those same people treat it like it's some glorious send off and refused to acknowledge that this is just as,if not more anti consumer then Sony's decison two years back.

A must have before the store closes down is call of duty: classic it is a remake of the first call of duty on 360/ps3 since the og 2003 one was pc only this makes it the only console port of the game and it isn't backwards compatible unlike cod 2 and 3 it also is the only cod with a health bar and the graphics are still pretty good even to this day. It never got a physical release so the store or emulator is the only way to get it. I agree with you about physical media, most people prefer digital but i will always go with discs, subbed to the channel too.

I dont think you can search games you own, i own marvel vs capcom 2 and the only way i can re download it is to look at my history.

This is disgusting. They also shut down the Xbox 360 reddit the week of the shutdown so people couldn't voice their opinion on stopping the shutdown or just posting a farewell to the 360. Xbox has gone way down hill.

The games I bought from the X360 Marketplace that was discounted are 1942 Joint Strike, Dishwasher DS, Dishwasher VS, Charlie Murder, Bionic Commando ReArmed, and DLC for my physical X360 games I own.
The only thing that Internet Explorer was good for was to download other web browsers, lol 😅.

If Xbox owns Activision, why isn't Call of Duty Classic on the current Xbox Marketplace or half off?
@@RokushoHasashi Glad you got some good deals on games! End of an era for sure. Maybe one day we'll get all of the CoD games in one place? I'll always be a physical collector as long as disks are still a thing (even though they're just keys for digital downloads now)
It's a shame yes but the xbox 360 will carry on with its legacy and the memories that were made and will be remembered for years to come
Dead Rising 2 is the last ever game I brought on the 360 marketplace but the physical collection lives on

Well we all knew this is going to happen. As likely if Sony will shut down the PlayStation 3 and 4 in near future but who knows if is compatible with most games release within XBOX 360. Does anybody know what is the original price and storage capacity take to store games as I believe the capacity is 250GB and the price is exactly what the Switch cost normally if you’d buy it refurbished it cost under $150 dollar which is 20% off if you buy in the marketplace.

Thank very much I don’t XBOX 360 as most games within PG-13 and RPG Adventure games as most game we’re skyrocketing but I’ll get one and see if the quality is good enough to play. Since I’m not sure if we have to plug on a TV or Computer with most home consoles devices if we’re to sign up Microsoft account. If you’d we’re to purchase games within the end date while playing on television.

It's too bad so many 360 games got delisted years ago. Games like War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron also had their servers shut down as well.
