    Babyface is still a beast in production and songwriting.
    He 's singing in the background. Bobby did his thing, too. You're right, this song is a masterpiece.

    Yes, this song was the bomb describing the kind of woman a man should never let get away. I believe almost every song on this album was a hit and it went platinum three times!!! Isn't that like Thriller? Bobby is gifted and he can be again if he and Babyface put their heads together. Plus, Bobby lose that weight; he'd be his sexy self again. I would be so proud of him to make a true comeback to prove his worth.
    This album sold 12 million copies in the US maybe worldwide. But hey that is great. Thriller sold 33 million worldwide. But still 12 million is fantastic. I remember on his autobiography, Bobby said that he had just gotten a 36 million check right when Whitney's father questioned his being with his daughter for money. I guess the check shut him up!!! Lol!!!

    Great reaction! I have a reaction request, I'd like for you to react to "Let's Get Right Down To It" by The Party. This song was penned and produced by Dr. Dre, he even has a speaking part on there too

    • @alexw853
      @alexw853 Год назад

      Dr. Dre is overhyped when he was never one of the best producers. Teddy Riley worked extensively with Bobby Brown and Dr. Dre ruined the traditions here on the west coast. He played a role in ruining Black American culture in California and I don't like how quiet Warren G has been since he is related to Dr. Dre.
      Dr. Dre mistreated the female founder of Death Row being Michel'Le and she is the reason why his career had longevity. Not anyone else. I would love to put anyone in their place for trying to claim those white folks he has been obsessing over are the reason. NOPE!! Ice Cube put Dr. Dre in his place a long time ago and they don't talk. Stop obsessing over that woman beater and life ruiner. He ruined the lives of black women while he enriched an ugly white woman who looks like a man. He just finalized his divorce with nasty Nicole Young who was already married when they met, and he took care of his two ugly half breeds with that ladyboy while he left the black women and full black children he created with no money or property even though he is a billionaire. The guy is a scum and his now 38 year old daughter and his grandchildren are struggling and LaTonya's mom he impregnated (Lisa Johnson) when she was 15 years old, Andre Young still has not apologized to so why any of you still have any remaining respect for evil and conniving, wannabe white, youth stealing, child m*lesting, traitor and abuser Andre Young is beyond me. You don't know the truth about Andre Young. He is a bad person and his prior recordings and those successes don't change that. Oh and his "Beats By Dre" headphones suck. They break easily. Dre owes multiple black women apologies and spousal support for the trauma and pain he has inflicted upon his own people, upon his former lovers he left behind to pander to white America after he became rich. While he has indeed produced some "hits" the stories in Andre's past, all of the unforgivable things he did in his prime cannot and should NEVER be ignored, period and Andre Young played a role in the ethnocide of Black Americans in the music industry we are seeing.
      F Andre. Pssh!

    Sometimes when I listen to Bruno Mars I can hear Bobby Brown tones. I am not saying Bobby Brown sings better than Bruno can, it's that sometimes Bruno can remind of Bobby Brown. I mean Bruno would sound fantastic singing this song. They have a similar tone, at least to me they do.

    • @alexw853
      @alexw853 Год назад

      Bruno Mars is another "fake black American" minstrel performer and was sued by James Brown for using his Funk instrumentals for one of his songs without approval first. You have to pay for samples. Bruno Mars is another outsider who refuses to stop trying to claim Freedmen's music when he knows same as the other Jews, Italians, Hispanics, and Arabs like ugly fat as hell DJ Khaled that the music is Black American and the same goes for disrespectful foreign Blacks as well. Bruno Mars is NOT AN R&B ARTIST. HE IS A POP STAR AND A WHOLE EURASIAN JEW BOY WITH A HORRIBLE PERM. Bruno Mars and the other outsiders who won't leave historic Black markets alone (U.S. and abroad) need to stop the racism. It is racist what Bruno Mars is doing. I hate him so much. And what he was doing filming a video rendition of In Living Color I don't know when In Living Color was a Black American founded comedy and performing arts television program sitcom by the Wayans Brothers. They are very much to blame for helping promote that other racist piece of crap Jennifer Lopez, the other white supremacist who happens to know how to speak Spanish and is back to be laid up with that slave owner heir Ben Affleck. We have a problem regardless of which type of Black culture is being exploited, with the MALES (dark skinned full and biracial ones) letting in outsiders. Someone let in Bruno and they need to be handled for cultural treason.

    • @alexw853
      @alexw853 Год назад

      Really? Last time I checked R&B music is a foundational Black American cultural creation and our historic industry, and Bruno was trying to be James Brown first then got SUED for that "Uptown Funk" incident. He will not leave our culture alone. Everyone with basic sense in America knows that Black American men and women pioneered Funk music (like Roger Troutman who was the frontman for the Zapp Band out of Ohio and called "King Of The Talkbox", Bernie Worrell with the sythesizers who was part of Parliament Funkadelic and passed away from Stage Four Cancer, Herbie Hancock, Bernard Wright out of Harlem, New York, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green, Cameo band, and several other artists). After the fallouts that happened with the Motown label and that idiot Berry Gordy and after the fall of the Disco scene. Breaking this down for you.. since you like to be stupid.. To say that Bruno sounds like any of us is an insult to the artists who died young and penniless and that would mean Bruno and his people suffered the same as us or that their sounds had the same political tone, passion or pain, specifically that of Black women, like one Bobby came from. Where and when?? For a long time it was Black American artists who were most seen in the Disco scene as well. Electronic music, House music, Vogue is all Black music, period.. after the lawsuit, Bruno was then trying to be Prince and got put in his place by Prince fans who got tired of his antics and grew even more upset with Bruno after Prince died. Same as those other racists Marky Mark, Vanilla Ice, B-Real, Don Santos, Kid Frost and other fakers and frauds Bruno is just like the rest. He knows where the music comes from and that he has no business tampering with our market. All money he has been making off of our legacy, has he put any funds into helping fight for those reparations we are owed and new developments we need? Nope! The problem with real Black males is that they have a bad habit of allowing the same ethnic and cultural groups of people who never wanted native Blacks (or Blacks abroad) to have their own markets (food, fashion,music, etc), without outsiders having a hand in the profits, up in the mix and bringing their loose women and gays into it as well. The fools who let Bruno in are the same fools whose grandfathers allowed the other racists to steal Rock&Roll music from us, steal Country music from us, steal Big Band, steal steal steal then try to bury the information about where the origins of the music genres REALLY CAME FROM. THE UNITED STATES FREEDMEN'S ANCESTRAL EXPERIENCE. Then complain about the same groups of career criminals they have been obsessing over and throwing Black women to the back for, mainly darker complexioned women under the bus.. Bruno Mars is a "nice", more liberal racist, he is around not out of respect for the foundations and contributions given by the American freed slaves but because of money and business interest, he wants to make off of our culture to exploit and take back to the JEWISH community. More powerful small hats than him like Jerry Heller who destroyed the N.W.A. band here out West when Ice Cube (O'Shea Jackson Sr.) was a CHILD (14, 15), and masterful liars like Lyor Cohen who got put in his place back East by Public Enemy indirectly taught Bruno everything he knows. Period. Bruno's "sound" is about greed, absence of respect and originality, and racist, systematic misrepresentation. I know Professor Griff personally so I have spoken with legends one on one about this problem; and when I was a professional dancer in Arizona I trained with Soul Train legends, those from Chicago and those from Los Angeles. There is no "Bobby Brown tones" in Bruno Mars' voice, only MOCKERY for profit presented as "pop" and he can't dance like Bobby Brown could in his prime, he can't even dance like how Ronnie DeVoe, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant or Bell can dance now that they are out of their forties, Bruno can't even dance like MC Hammer, "The Master of Ceremonies" from Oakland. Bobby and the other men I mentioned grew up in the music business. Bobby had his solo debut at nineteen, and I bet you when Bruno was nineteen he wasn't even doing music or dance nor did he "acknowledge" Black American culture, he was same as the other rich Jew boys living in rich suburbs, without the grit, sacrifice and heartache, and WITHOUT SHORTCUTS it took for Bobby and the other mentioned men to become internationally recognized stars. Our people are exceptional without the nepotism. Bobby did not come from "old family money". You're talking about trying to compare a privileged Jew b*astard, another white gimmick to a group of five men from Orchard Park in Boston, Beantown performers who are TRADITIONAL TRIPLE THREATS, came from rough beginnings-- the PROJECTS, and were original in their sounds, grew up in the church and were SELF TAUGHT performers. Besides the fact that Brooke Payne is Ronnie's uncle and was their choreographer for a number of years they are within their own element and we as a people KNOW OUR PLACE AND PROMINENCE, whereas Bruno clearly doesn't know his place and continues to encroach upon what he knows is ours by BLOOD. You're talking about a Pop star who has been pushed to white America feel better about how they failed to "crush" New Edition back in the 1980s with their stupid "New Kids On The Block" group having claimed in a song that they were "the right stuff" and how they tried to push those lame whiteskinned Puerto Ricans like "Menudo", how that gay singer who fizzled out, Ricky Martin got got his start. If anything Bruno doesn't even compare to RALPH TRESVANT (whose breakthrough SOLO album featured his record "Sensitivity") and he was specifically promoted as frontman during his time with New Edition because his voice was HIGHER and sounded "less deep gut Soulful" than Bobby's and the other guys. To compare Bruno Mars to Bobby Brown is wishful thinking and an insult to Black American culture and speaking such delusions and falsheoods can get you killed by those of us who still care about how "everyone else" has tried every which way to diminish us and live off of our legacies just because they don't have any. Instead of trying to claim Bruno is comparable when he effing isn't, why didn't you have the sense to ask how come his "culture" of those white Filipinos or his Jewish side never had male or female stars as big as ours? Even those racist white Koreans whose Kpop stars have also been plagiarizing the Black American performing arts movement, our post Harlem Renaissance releases, have a bigger entertainment market than the Phillipines. The fact that you think Bruno Mars sings better than Black American R&B, Soul, and other musical legends is a lie, a f*cking insult and sounds racist, unintelligent, ignorant and jealous. Don't whitewash my culture just because your forbears and Bruno's failed to set your own tone. Bruno cannot sing like ANY of the original five men of New Edition or the man who was Bobby's replacement, that Southern man being Johnny Gill who was Stacey Lattisaw's first boyfriend. How is Bruno the same as Black Americans when the economics of the music has long been corrupted and rigged by Bruno's people and the other ethnic groups of whites? Realize there are so many depths to this music and culture stuff and "racial sound" of ours that predate plantations, that you clearly don't understand. Bruno is junk and needs to also take off those high schooler clothes. Get the hell on, stupid h*e.

      I'm saying Bobby Brown sings better than Bruno Mars because he DOES and he's a VETERAN in what is clearly OUR BUSINESS and Bruno Mars was not sought after talent found in the ghettos of the United States inner cities. I'm saying Bobby is undeniably the better singer because he knows the music by HERITAGE and he's actually one of the descendants and ORIGINATORS. To say that Bruno is in ANY LEAGUE with Freedmen in our culture or with our diaspora globally is an insult and that would mean that Bruno sounds like all of the Black American men who paved the way for Bobby to have a career he started at THIRTEEN, through the "five males" band formula like the Temptations, or the JACKSON FIVE. Where the hell does Bruno sound anything like them when he's NOT BLACK AND HE'S NOT "BLACK AMERICAN"?? WHERE DOES HE SOUND LIKE DONNY HATHAWAY, TEDDY PENDERGRASS, SAM COOKE, ROY AYERS, BABYFACE (KENNETH EDMONDS), LUTHER VANDROSS, OR OTHER BLACK AMERICAN MEN WHO CAME BEFORE BOBBY? ARE YOU GOING TO SAY THAT HE SOUNDS LIKE OTIS REDDING TOO? This is unbelievable how Black Americans aren't even allowed to stand in our own culture with pride while honky tanks get to have the all white AND MOSTLY BLONDE Country Music Awards, the white skinned Latins/ethnically Hispanic people get to have the Latin Grammys with no Black Latin artists and the same white folks get to call themselves "managers of Blues clubs" when BLUES MUSIC IS BLACK AMERICAN!! Bruno is trying to sound like the deep Southern and Delta Blues artists as well. When you do the forensics it is all traced back to Black Americans. He is not our bloodline, our culture or part of our legacy, he is not an R&B or Soul artist, so quit. Stop trying to inject or grandfather clause him into what belongs to us by HERITAGE, OUR LEGACY. Okay, the same problem happened with the blue eyed soul fake trend and even the white guys from New Zealand with INXS, the deceased Michael Hutchence said that his inspiration came from Black American music. Kurt Cobain, Nirvana's deceased frontman, his Hip Hop album of choice was one by PUBLIC ENEMY AND HE WAS FROM SEATTLE. Public Enemy's music was very controversial and they too were east coasters like Bobby, back then the east coast was NOTHING TO PLAY WITH and Public Enemy's music was put on national media blackout. When was Bruno ever put on media blackout or any other people from his community? Never. Not in the newspapers, radios or television stations, because they CONTROL THE MEDIA whereas coming out of Reconstruction, Freedmen lost many of our publications. Which means it was politically inappropriate for you to compare Bruno to Bobby knowing that the industry dynamic is IMBALANCED and our sound as a people is VASTLY DIFFERENT than Bruno's and anyone else's. Not only by heritage but also by our political beginnings and the dramatically different world we were raised in compared to Bruno's. All of that should tell you something. Bruno is faking Blackness, mainly Blackness in America and what that all means, how UNIQUE it is, and exploiting that exceptionality for riches, while he goes back to his community and they continue their traditions as usual that nobody who isn't Filipino and isn't religiously Jewish is allowed to "touch" socially, politically or legally. You're comparing a person who comes from a more insulated, protected group of people to Bobby who belongs to an ENDANGERED LINEAGE. You made a fool of yourself in the process of trying to erase and replace the legitimacy and true foundations of R&B. And I don't support Black or biracial people who are not Black American by lineage making careers off of Freedmen's culture in our country, our Republic. The Weeknd is Nigerian and Nigerians need to stay stay their place too. The issue at hand is everyone who isn't one of Bobby's people obsessing over cultural genocide of Black American music and you're promoting that dishonorable practice. Period.

      Bruno would sound fantastic trying to actually put in the work building a "Tagalog" music industry of his own in the Phillipines or his Jewish lineage some "Yiddish" stuff or whatever they speak, he would sound fabulous staying in his place instead of trying to invade and further gentrify ours in our industry that took us a whole century to build from scratch prior to the Civil Rights movement that Bruno's forbears had no business being up in either. The fact that you believe it would be "appropriate" for him to take a classic and put his culture and RELIGION on it knowing he disrespected James Brown's body of work is another insult.
