I had a very hard time playing flat screen games again after this. Fully modded on my potato laptop but ran good enough for well over 400 hours of VR excellence.
What laptop do you use. I don't know shi about pc and specs but I got a quest 2 and wanna play Skyrim VR. I don't need nothing too expensive just something that I can play casually on with mods
@adamajobe1756 i forget now what that laptop was. It was a little better graphics card than the recommended specs on steam. I got a pc with a i7 and a 3080 that is way more than enough.
@@realsteezystevie and I can get a laptop with those specs right? Thanks my friend I'm screenshotting this. I don't wanna buy the laptop just for it to be the wrong one😭
Just finished my skyrim VR modlist including all this installed, 4 to 8k textures with dyndolod, grass lod and enb. Runs smooth as hell after using Open Composite with it. Just make sure not to use VR FPSstabiliser with Open Composite because they arent compatible. Anybody who has stuttering issues in VR needs to try Open Composite if you havent. Its a game changer for my old 1080ti 🤙
Thanks for this video, this was one of the most informative summaries of what all the mods in FUS actually do, I'm bookmarking it for later. It's crazy that you only have 14 subs!
Absolutely Phenomenal video, Floored me when i saw it was your first upload. Hell yeah my guy, keep up the good work 😤 Can't wait to see what else you've got in the pipeline.
One year to late but YOU DONT NEED A PREMIUM NEXUS MEMBERSHIP. It will take less than two hours of clicking, but that is not as bad as it soud. About 400 clicks total tops, and if you glue the browser window to a side, the button will always show in the same spot. Also, just put youtube in another monitor/another window, and you can just watch something while you do it. For me it was totally worth it.
As someone who has done this manually last week, I can confirm that premium Nexus Membership is NOT required. When you're starting to get to the larger mods, only about 16 will download concurrently sooo... don't forget to come back and keep going. Haha. Though honestly after all that, I realized just how integral Nexus Mods is to modding and will be getting a membership in the future just to support them.
I only have Xbox SX right now. Really want to build a PC for VR gaming. Probably will have to wait for this winter, people keep saying that new GPUs and new Oculus quest 3 is coming out at that time. Maybe will get rtx4070 if price is right.
Any tips for motion sickness? Any time I am moving with the joysticks on the quest 2 I feel like I want to throw up. I can't do more than 20 minutes. Standing still and looking around is no problem and I also don't want to teleport everywhere, but that might be my only option?
Just going to be practice. It's unfortunately your body having a sensitive inner ear, thus your brain getting upset at the stimuli of you moving without you actually moving. A solid tip to help you continue to practice it, is whenever you walk/run just literally walk/jog in place lightly to give your brain the illusion of at least that up and down movement. This will mitigate the strain and let you play roughly 30% longer (in my case at least). My original play time was 2 hours a session before my brain would be flipping out, now I can make it up to 4 with this trick and a year and some change of practice. Even then it's not so much motion sickness, but more headache due to the close screens for so long.
all im saying is that i got psvr skyrim played it once it crashed 3 times got to whiterun after maybe an hour just for me to open the gate and be greeted with an unlimited loading screen im getting skyrim vr for pc and ima mod the crap out of it

Hey bro, came across your channel I hope you continue with your creator dream :)
Great video! My personal suggestion would be to reduce the length of the introduction part
Very good video. VR is about to get better with new headsets coming Xmas probaly.
I wonder if Starfield will ever inspire this level of modding...
you deserve more subs man

I got vr headset just for Skyrim. And was so dissatisfied before mods
Hey thanks for the video! I was wondering how you managed to get the darker graphics instead of the cartoony ones?
Wait so all these mods are included in FUS right?

What texture mods are you using for your version of Whiterun to look like that?
