that effect from 2:19 is like jesus cristus, im wondering how he did that
I kind of wish there was like... more to it. The production seems really one-dimensional. 90% of the song is just the bassline and high hats with some clapping, and the melody, when it's actually there, never really goes anywhere.
Not my jam, tbh. With songs that don't have particularly complex vocals and lyrics, you'd expect the effort that would originally go into developing those to show itself in a more polished track and production but there's just... not very much here.
This is kind of just the nature of this kind of house music.
Honestly, as a big Matroda fan I kind of felt the same...was a bit disappointed by how flat it felt.
@@rux_ton I mean even if you wanted to keep all of the elements of the music exactly the same, it was produced poorly. The high hats sound harsh, and the kick and bassline are super flat and synthetic sounding.
There's no "Space" to the sound, it's all just crumpled up in my ears instead of taking me to where it's played, and I have some very nice headphones! Headphones that are capable of giving me that kind of experience with music that is produced well. It's not that it's beyond the capabilities of my technology, it's that I'm looking for paragraphs that were never written, searching for details that aren't there. The sound is so hollow and flat that it leaves me anxious and searching for a resolution throughout the song, but there's just none. It's all just flat and crowding around my eardrum, with each element of the song itching to slam into it next.
There's just no tact in how it's produced, it's got nothing to do with the style of music. It's a comedy routine made up entirely of punchlines with no sense of context or order. If you want to get a sense for what I mean, listen to this song alongside Oliver Helden's "King Kong".
To me it feels like his track called The movement, same rythmic structure and pretty similar sounds.
I'm a fan of tech house and apashe, I kinda agree. Usually they do this because for the sake of clubs
