- "The 100 Day Mustang" is a series of videos following Samantha Rock as she trains a wild mustang. She has 100 days to gentle and train a wild mustang for the Meeker Mustang Makeover on September 11, 2020 in Meeker, Colorado. This is Part Six of the series and is about leading, flexing and desensitizing. There will be new parts added on regularly so you can follow along. Sam gives training tips throughout the series.

Sasha trusts Sam so much. I see a big change in her from day 5 to day 6. These videos are great help!
One thing I have noticed, Sasha will touch Sam when she gets a little nervous and it seems to calm her fears. All is well because mama is here, and she will protect me. :-)
I’ve watched Sam start SO MANY mustangs and colts. This mare is really into Sam!! She truly wants to be near her and yes, touch her. This horse is still trying to overcome her fear of people, Sam is her safety net. I try to pet her and she is unsure of me still but getting better. Thanks for watching! Plenty more videos to come!

Sasha is coming along very well. Horses respond well to a gentle loving touch. It makes them feel safer.
She’s doing amazing! Today she went on her first trail ride and went for a swim too! I’m trying to get the videos caught up! She’s on Day 25 now I think.
