  • Rex was quite head-shy and defensive to start and managed to get his first 2 halters off. But now that he has his third one one he is progressing nicely!

I appreciate you saying that so much, thank you. The first 30 days were extremely hard, from the outside looking in seemed liked there was no way we would make the makeover. I kept the faith and kept showing up every single day and he finally gave me his trust, then he progressed every day. I learned SO much from him, trust really is everything and we need to have so much respect for these horses. They truly don’t even have to let us get close to them yet they try so hard for some of the craziest tasks us humans ask them to do. We leave for the makeover tomorrow and I’m so nervous excited!!

Had a mare that looked a lot like him that did th same with me. She was never predictable and became dangerous. Beautiful gates when ridden , then with no notice explode. Something no one could train out as would charge, bite and strike out. You are good with horses, so good luck in your journey.

It's absolutely awesome to see a young lady with that courage.
Horses can move like lightning and do incredible damage very quickly.
You have to love horses to risk so much, she wants the best for him.
God bless you and the beautiful horse, your commitment and bravery is very, very evident. ❤💪❤

Oh boy I think she’s got her hands full with this guy !!! I sure hope he starts to trust her and calms down. I worry about her getting hurt in the meantime and I HOPE if she’s over her head she’ll call in the help needed !!! She sure is pretty tho !!! ❤️🐴

Being more forceful with a scared horse would have been wrong, you did perfect!

I love how people make comments and have no idea what they're talking bout.

Omg i would never ever let a horse pin its ears at me and i back up, the whip would be put to use for a good 30 minutes

Looks stupid to me, tickling her with whip, etc. really annoying the horse.

Your timing looks a bit off which could hinder the outcome. You praised him when he jumped back. 🥹
