Plant City Florida Train Viewing Platform Ground Breaking

This is a video I made of the ground breaking ceremony in Plant City Florida on June 19, 2013 at 5:30 PM of the new train viewing platform that is now in construction mode to be finished in December 2013. It will feature a second story tower and a ATCS monitor that will track trains. Also a web cam and a railroad museum featuring a caboose and old locomotive. It will be the biggest and best train viewing platform in the USA. Stay tuned for weekly update video of it's progress I will bring to you until it's finished.

It will be nice, Folkston, Georgia has a nice one. I've never beeen there, but I hope to one day. I've loved trains since when I was a kid and my Dad, Mom and I would go to Wadley, Georgia to meet his sister Aunt Mary coming up from Savannah, on the Nancy Hanks, for the weekend. Every now and then they'll talk about starting passenger service back on that route, but I don't think it's going to happen.
