Wonderful speech. But the issue of bringing transparency to government as a way to plug the influence of corporate lobbies on law making, is I think, wrong. The problem is that the more transparent and «open doors» government becomes, the more easily lobbyists can monitor and influence law making.

Obama is correctly pointing out that Clinton allowed a lot of things to happen that were good for Wall Street but not for Main Street.
