Used Tata Box & Airtel Box, Dish TV Hub. Dish tv hub one benefit is Supporting Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 & DTS 5.1 without any issues through USB file play back using KODI PLAYER ( 21.0 NEXUS).But RAM should be atleast 2 GB

I am planning to buy a tv. After watching your vdo i got some queries.
1. What will be the best combo to buy.. A smart tv with normal airtel setup box or A normal TV with Xtream setup box?
2. Do we need a separate wifi connection to play ott videos in both the above scenarios?
Best combo is smart tv with normal set top box, 1st the hardware of a smart tv is much better then the smart box and in future if you disconnect the airtel set top box then also you can use ott apps on your tv because airtel will take back his set top box. Ott apps works only on internet connection so wifi is necessary on both scenarios. Hope it helps

Is it mandatory to recharge for ott apps bringe???
We have 4k smart tv and my parents only going to watch dth channels(4k).
Dth channels doesn't comes in 4K. Also it's not possible atleast for 5 years. Yes this box is made ott apps only, so recharge when you want to use apps. I would not suggest this binge box if you are going to use it for dth, better go with hd set top box

Confused between 'Tata Sky Binge+', 'Airtel Xtreme' and 'MI 4kBox'
Below is my requirement. I am going to buy Samsung Q70R TV which is based on Tizen OS. (So it will not be Android)
Generally I use online Apps like Prime Video, Netflix (Use to recharge when ever some good web series released. ), RUclips, Disney Hotstar etc.
DTH Channels, i use to recharge rarely when some one come from My native, i.e. I use DTH channels but not always. i.e. Rarely we recharge but yes we do use sometimes.
I am having Airtel Broadband connection.
Please suggest which one I should buy. As my TV will be QLED but not the Android. So need to look for Android box.
It will really help me.
Note: I do have Videcon D2H setup box (Normal i.e. Non HD. But I don't think its service is good)

Bhai 4K channels na abhi aate hai or na kabhi aayenge, 10 saal tak to pakka hai. So I am using a normal HD box in my 4k tv. So buy any set top box but just HD and dont buy these

I have a bought a new LG UHD 4K AI Thinkq 55 "Android smart tv ,having Google assistant and voice recognition magic remote,in exchange of my old 32" LCD TV & have a 4 year old Tata sky SD STB;I just want to ask whether I should go for Tata sky HD STB or,Binge+ or still remain with my old SD STB as our maximum usage is just watching broadcasted tv channels and net usage is only on mobiles with jio network.our monthly pack is now Rs 350/- currently in Tata sky,should I go with jio fiber or not? Though I do not have the need of high speed net, or OTT platform usage but in case I require high speed net usage in future or want to watch OTT programs in tv then my new STB should not become obsolete at that time.so please give a valuable suggestion...
Go for atleast a HD set top box because you will get signals from hdmi cable to your tv for better quality. Don't buy binge + becoz your tv has everything which you need to use OTT apps whenever you want to. Hope it helps

Do we need any extra internet connectivity to watch the OTT channels on these dth ? Or it play on the Dish's signals only. And what is its speed/Quality...??
There is nothing called as OTT channels. There is dth channels which is provided by your dth provider like Tata sky or airtel and there are OTT apps which runs on internet. So dth channels will work till you recharge for it. OTT apps will work when you buy separate subscription for each OTT app and to run it, you need internet. Hope it helps

Yes, as long as you want to watch dth channels also then its worth it. But one thing is that, if you invest here and in future you disconnect the connection then they take back their box so one more option to buy a fire tv stick or mi tv stick which is not bound by tatasky. Just a suggestion

So that's why m thinking to upgrade to binge + as well as RUclips to chlega kam se kam normal tv pe...baki 6 mahine to yeh offer mein denge hi ott apps ke subscription...
Baki agar fire TV stick ya mi TV stick bhi lu main agar toh bhi to ott apps ka subscription to lena hi hoga na...so why not to get it inbuilted in set top box rather than different gadget to use as interface... What u say..?

what would be your suggestion if wifi connection is not great in a remote location. i need both TV channels and OTT platform and esp netflix. if i understood correctly, wifi is must for OTT and dish antenna wirh set top box is best for Tv channels
since tata sky does not support netflix, do i need to hv an amazon fire stick or cromecast to view netflix using my mobile connection
I would say go with Airtel xstream box as it has Netflix also and its 4k also. Yes wifi is necessary but not compulsory, you can use it with your mobile data but the consumption will be very high. So you should be having enough data. If you want you can go with separate fire tv stick and normal dth box if its not available in your area
