In Tata Play Binge Plus box ( Hardware version 2-3) Android 9,we are getting 5.1 Surround audio from Digital Optical audio out while streaming movies in OTT Platforms like Hotstar, Prime Video, Sun next and Zee 5,even chrome casting same apps from mobiles also getting same surround audio .While Playing USB movie files through Kodi application also getting same 5.1 surroud sound. In Airtel new Xtream box ( Android 10 version ) gives only stereo audio out while playing Zee 5 & Hotstar in the same method of Optical audio connection.And shows HDMI connection error issues while chrome casting Prime video. Jio Android DTH set top box is not supporting Kodi application and not getting 5.1 audio from any OTT application till the date with the smae sequence of audio connection. Not checked Dish Hub & Videocon D2H smart box for the 5.1 audio compatibility. Comparactively Tata Play Binge Plus box is giving 5.1 surround audio ( From Optical Digital audio connection ) performance from OTT movie streaming and USB movie file playback. Comment and update any different results occurs in the future since Hardware upgradations and software versions and updations results the changes in audio performance.
Tata Play Binge pros are much more (only on the Android set-top & not on the Firestick TV as they are currently providing only 2nd Gen non-4K firestick device): we get premium access to bundled apps, where as Xstream gives somewhat mid tier access to the apps!! Also one way is that IF we only want to use the Android set-top for the apps we need to be active subscriber of DTH provider with minimum of Rs ~153/month.. Binge Mega Pack of 2999 per year is quite economical!

if you have internet at home then you can connect to it , it can connect through wifi / ethernet cable hotspot is also wifi so you can use it with any connection , mirror cast used to work on old xstream fiber box , now new xstream box only supports chrome cast

If you are planning to use airtel to convert your tv into smart then you can't use any apps service without a dth recharge So you have to pay dth and app subscription both As my 6yr old led is not smart but have a good picture quality so using this to upgrade is good option but now to use apps i am trapped to recharge dth even if i doesn't want to Monthly payment are 400 rs and increasing every year

There is a recording option in both Airtel Xtream box and Tata Bing Plus set up box.. but the issue is you need to pay a monthly rental of 200 Rs in Airtel Xtream box according to the Airtel technician whom I happened to call (it is 100 rs every 2 weeks I am told). Does Tata Play Bing charge us on similar lines? I use Airtel HD box as of now and I have a recording option in this as well , but it is free of cost , but when I upgrade to to Xtream box , it will be charged.
Donot buy Airtel box, I have used it and it is extremely slow device. It takes alot of time to open an app and app keep on crashing. You wont be able to watch anything till 10 to 15 mins after start.

Yes yaar atleast smart tv is required. Also since u already have TP fiber , you can ask them about the dth plans, they will surely help you out. Else call their customer care number.

DTH recharge of Rs.153 mandatory for using the 4k box whether you watch or not. Else it requires Wifi connection also to work smoothly. So combined costing including ott recharge, dth recharge and wifi will be around Rs. 1100 approximately.
Wrong. If you are recharging with 153, you don't need to MANDATORILY do OTT recharge. All apps work and if you have your own individual subscription, you can use them. Coming to OTT recharge, TATAPlay Binge plans start from Rs49 (if I'm not wrong) and go up to 299, which in my opinion is a good deal. The only issue with the TATAPlay binge box is that it takes good 2-3 minutes to start. This problem is the only downside for me tbh. I don't know if Airtel Box starts up quicker or not but considering both are Android Boxes, consider the start-up time to be similar.
@@OblivionZXZ Yes, you can see all the good old TV channels as well because they'll set up the satellite dish as well with the connection. OTT is not free. RUclips and all will work free of cost but Hotstar, Prime, Netflix etc would require subscription. And ofcourse you need a good internet upwards of 5mbps for OTT content.

As you are not having a Gigabit Plan so spending too much on a Router not worth it for you. Just go with C6 which have all Gigabit Features which is enough for your plan.

No it's free to record but you have a limited record limit if you want to exeed it then you can upgrade it

Coming to OTT recharge, TATAPlay Binge plans start from Rs49 (if I'm not wrong) and go up to 299, which in my opinion is a good deal.
The only issue with the TATAPlay binge box is that it takes good 2-3 minutes to start. This problem is the only downside for me tbh. I don't know if Airtel Box starts up quicker or not but considering both are Android Boxes, consider the start-up time to be similar.
So tata sky 4k box run just like old Tatasky AV box?
And which OTT is free on it?
@@OblivionZXZ Yes, you can see all the good old TV channels as well because they'll set up the satellite dish as well with the connection.
OTT is not free. RUclips and all will work free of cost but Hotstar, Prime, Netflix etc would require subscription. And ofcourse you need a good internet upwards of 5mbps for OTT content.

Can you share what is the total size shown in the tata play binge plus box, i heard it is showing 4.4gb as total eventhough website claims 8gb, out of 4.4gb few gb consumed by Android itself, is 8GB fake, how can we verify?

Hi bro, Which set top box is best compatible for 43" 4K LED / QLED TV - HD set top box or 4K set top box?? Actually in India there is no any 4k channel until now, and I am not interested in to watch the OTT content and gaming. I want to just watch the SD/ HD channels for sports, news and national geographic channels etc. So if we consider all factors such as upscaling, good pixel quality, audio quality etc. then for 4k TV which set top box is best suitable??

C80 looks better, but what do I get extra compared to C6 by paying 1000 extra for C80?
As you are not having a Gigabit Plan so spending too much on a Router not worth it for you. Just go with C6 which have all Gigabit Features which is enough for your plan.

Tata binge is better bcoz you can watch ipl and other sports without sports pack bcoz hotstar is included also wide selection of movies in hotstar app

Maine abhi Android tv liya hai 127cm ka , cricket ke liye ipl ho ka only cricket dekhunga , toh new connection karna hai dish ka. par mere gaon me wifi connection nahi hai mujhe only dish connection karna hota toh konsa dish connection lagvau vobhi HD chahiye bs feel aana chahiye 127cm tv ka 😅
