The sunflowers are gorgeous. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I love sublimation but I've only done mugs and shirts so I'm excited to do the coasters and car coasters☺️
Thank you! This is such a timely video for me as I just purchased some neoprene car coasters to do. I love them all but the sunflowers are my favorite, they are my favorite flower of all time. Thanks for all you do! 😊
Hi Corinne! Your Coasters are really cute. The colors are so vibrant. Thank you for this Tutorial. I have Neoprene Can coolers and this gives me some tips. Happy Crafting!🙂
Do you use the same heat press settings no matter how many you do at a time? I'm testing these coasters and can't get a vibrant color no matter what settings I've used! I've wasted 7 so far and can't seem to figure out how to get a brighter, vibrant look and yours look so good!
Yes The time and temp settings are always the same regardless of pressing one or ten at a time. Have you tried pressing the designs on something else to see if its the neoprene coasters or if it maybe your printer?
I am very new to all of this as soon, as it came off a heat press, took the paper off and then I put the coasters under a heavy Book for a few short time and they stayed flat
Thanks for this video. I have a few questions. 1) Can I use Cricut Infusible Ink markers to make my design, instead of using a sublimation printer? 2) I don't have a clamshell press. Can I use a Cricut Easypress II? Are the time and temperature the same for an Easypress II? 3) You don't need to let the coasters cool down before removing the taped-on design, right?
1. Infusible ink and the pens are just sublimation there is nothing special or different about them so yes. 2. Yes the easy press 2 can get up to the right temp so it will work. You need to make sure you apply even pressure when you press. 3. You don’t need to let anything cool down when you do sublimation. I never do and never have issues. Cricut has the cool down thing to protect themselves is someone burns themselves they can’t go back and sue cricut
If you mean the divit in the coaster no. Cutting out that part would have no bearing on shifting. Shifting is prevented by making sure you have taped your design down well

Thanks for another great video. I just ordered some coasters and wanted some expert advice In Canva - if you click on POSITION, you get options for sizing. Might be easier for some than the mouse. Thanks again. Kay in Dallas
@@JelscreationsNmore you didn’t center them. You need to center the design for it to be centered. Holding the paper up to a light and marking center on the back can help. If you’re using a round design like my moons and stuff you may need to adjust the sizing. Every design will be different and you need to adjust based on the design. This is true for anything you make

I appreciate the detailed video. Some of us need to be walked through this slowly and the little extra pointers help tremendously. ❤❤❤
I love the sunflowers. You make this look so easy. Can't wait to try this.

This is great. I have 2. 75 coasters and I found I have to size to 3.2 so it covers the coaster.
Thank you for this video! I have found it very helpful

@@CorinneBlackstone I haven’t tried that yet! I will do that this evening and see. Thanks for responding!
Thank you for sharing
They are all pretty but my favorite are the sunflowers!! I was wondering though, is there a particular reason you used the pressing pad?
To make sure I get good pressure
How did you keep the coasters from curling? Whenever I use these as soon as I open the press the coasters curl and it usually causes ghosting
Mine curl it’s all about getting that paper off quick

What kind of press is that?
im guessing cutting the pieces out help lessen the risk of them shifting?

Hi! Can neoprene be printed on with regular transfer paper too or just sublimation prints?
Yes
how did you get the little groove thing in the sun flower coaster?
IT was already in the design I did not add it. There is no need for it anyways

@@JelscreationsNmore truly doesn’t matter as long as the design covers the blank

Is there a template for these?
No as I explain in the video I don’t use a template I like to make the prints larger than the coasters so you don’t end up with white areas
Mind did print
