Hogs of war is another great game that most don't talk about, its kind of like worms but in full 3D and with pigs as soldiers from different countries and it also has the very funny voice acting of the great Ric Mayall, fun on 1 player but the real joy comes from playing on 2 player.
I love mr Domino so much. My grandma would buy random bargain bin games if she thought the cover looked good. She bought some real stinkers like blasto, but then there would be hidden gems like mr Domino.
I have a couple ps1 demo discs. I used to play the demo for Loaded. It was only the first stage. Ps1 graphics always remind me of impressionism style paintings👍
What a waste of the title "Danger Girl" . That should be an epic game. Hopefully one day it will get made into a better game. Lots of potential. Anyway, thanks for another fun video. Always a pleasure to watch.
That cut scene in Courier Crisis make me laugh😂I'm pretty sure I've played No One Can Stop Mr Domino. I definitely had the Kula World demo as well back in the day. Two unusual games but both are pretty good. Great video as always Gemma
I love puzzle games and had Kula World back in the day. Brilliant game which certainly got difficult as the levels progress. One of two games I wish I hadn't sold (Tombi being the other one). Really enjoyed both games but of course ebayed them when I thought the price was good. Great video Gemma, keep up the good work.
Never knew of Courier Crisis back then, but I found this game very difficult in some parts but very fun to play when my friend showed me this. Lomax, I believe it is a somewhat obscure and underrated game, almost unknown by the community, I love the soundtrack btw. I want to try all with a joystick in my pc.
Kula world was one of the first “expensive” games I bought for the PS1. I had it on the demo as well and always wanted it as an adult but could never justify the money. Anyways a few CEX trades and I got it. One of my most prized games now 😂👍🏻🕹
I remember lemmings well! As soon as you mentioned it the soundtrack for the game is playing in my head lol... definitely not seen the version you were playing on here.
Danger Girl appeals to my inner teenager... shame you can't save your progress though. I had the demo of Mr Domino BITD, never got that far with it. Then I found the demo decades later, and STILL didn't get far with it... so I looked it up on RUclips and found Caddicarus! The beach ball game looks fun though. There were some good puzzle games, like Qube/Kurushi or whatever it's called Oh God don't look at the price...
OMG! My GF picked up Kula World cheap when it was on sale back in the day & we sank so many hours in to it! It makes me feel great every time I play it now for exactly that reason. Interesting list, thanks. Addendum: Babs tells me she still has our original copy because we loved it so much. 🥰
I love a cheeky bit of Cool World! After hearing the price, I'm bloody glad I paid about 2 quid when it was released for the PS3. I remember playing the demo as well.. Me and my brother's friend Randy Andy (aged about 14/15 at this point) made a comment about the bonus level was like you were on drugs. For about 20 years, I avoided drugs because I was worried my vision would become all wobbly.. Thanks old Randy Andy! Wonder what he's up to now!
I don't remember seeing you play the Amiga game "Dreamweb" I highly recommend giving that game a go. It's not the longest of games but it's dark and cyberpunk themed (think blade runner, both in terms of feel and gameplay) if you can get the original including the Diary then I highly recommend it, I paid quite a bit for my Amiga copy.. but was one of the defining games for me on the Amiga as a kid back in the day.
Lomax is such a great 2D platformer, I was lucky to find a CIB copy years ago for peanuts compared to what it sells for now. No One Can Stop Mr. Domino and Kula World are two games that I would love to get hold of and remember playing repeatedly on demo discs back in the day. Remember playing Courier Crisis on an old demo disc too but didn't think too much of it.
Ps1 in 1996 was about 3d. Ps1 in 2023 is about 2d. There are only a handful of ps1 games in 3d that hold up for me. Motor toon grand prix blew my mind when it came out, polyphonys last effort before going all gran turismo.
Kuala world I played it so much back in the days and I still do once in a while on my PS Vita it’s perfect on a handheld thanks for another great video keep it up🤘😎
I think we all know Danger Gril would of been much better on the Saturn as it was clearly the better console over the PS1 haha. Nice little selection there Gem, Always nice to see Kula World and WOW i havent seen Lomax in so so long. I used to own that, its a beautiful game. Nice though Gem, good lill selection of games
Really enjoying watching some game collecting actually in England. Is there any shops you’d recommend in the south east for nes/master system/Amiga games?
I got Kula world fully complete for €1 in the charity shop just before Christmas. I have nobody can stop Mr domino. And danger Girl. I never heard of the other two I must look out for them. 👍
going to try kula world thank god for emulators games are so expexpensive now days klua world looks like Marble Blast Ultra that came out in 2006 for xbox 360 its on pc with loads of mods great fun
Isometric? I think you need to look what that word means because this is not an isometric game. Isometric: of a method of projecting a drawing in three dimensions) having the three axes equally inclined and all lines drawn to scale
i played all of those games 😁😁😁😁, about ps1, i hope square-enix release saga frontier 2 remastered bc the saga frontier 1 remastered i have it !!!🤩🤩🙏🙏💪💪💪💓💓💓💓💖💖💖💖💋💋💋💋
I appreciate girls with dogs who like video games. Don't worry, I'm old and married, but it's refreshing not to watch another hidden gems sausage fest.
@TheGebs24 yup. Had them all. Sold my entire comic collection last year. 8 thousand comics left my house. The comics had there moments. It was all about j Scott Campbell for me though. Great artist
Speaking of unknown games, the crow city of angels was one of the worst games Ive ever played. I think Im one of like four people who ever played it lol.
Know all these games only own and played the final three as the first two never interested me.. the two I'm not interested in I've seen preview's etc way back in the past.. I have never spend money on random garbage, only what I would play. I have at hand about 400+ playstation games (common and uncommon) PAL, NTSC and NTSC-J.

Awwww what a sweet memory. I wished my grandma was as cool as yours was 😃
Danger Girl was based on a popular 90s comic book. The game was rushed to cash in on the popularity of the character.
I have a couple ps1 demo discs. I used to play the demo for Loaded. It was only the first stage. Ps1 graphics always remind me of impressionism style paintings👍
The Danger Girl comics are so good.
Never heard of Lomax before, but from my experience, most games by Psygnosis were awesome.
I remember playing Mr Domino & Courier Crisis on PS Mag demo discs back in the day.
Courier Crisis is like Paperboy.
What a waste of the title "Danger Girl" . That should be an epic game. Hopefully one day it will get made into a better game. Lots of potential. Anyway, thanks for another fun video. Always a pleasure to watch.
Lomax looks like a follow-up to Flink, another Psygnosis gem on the Mega Drive.
Danger girl is like a female version of Duke Nukem
I remember all of these games from the demo discs on the official PlayStation magazine. I miss demo days.
Kula World is one of my favourite PS games ever. The music, the atmosphere... it's so chill. Love it!
Pepsi man was quite an obscure game.
Omg!!! I’d love to own that

Ahhh I still want to get Tombi. Hey thank you for the nice words. I need them today

I have heard of all of them, but the only I have played is the demo of Kula World - really wish I had the full game in my collection.
I might watch a full play through of Kyla World. It gets solid
Kula world is such a relaxing game ...
Danger Girl appeals to my inner teenager... shame you can't save your progress though. I had the demo of Mr Domino BITD, never got that far with it. Then I found the demo decades later, and STILL didn't get far with it... so I looked it up on RUclips and found Caddicarus!

I have Courier Crisis, Mr Domino and Kula world. Courier Crisis and Kula world were on demo so they were quite known
Adventures of Lomax is in my collection. Real gem of a game and very hard to come by these days.
Lomax is like The Jungle Book and Tarzan.
Courier crisis could be re made and they could call it Royal Mail simulator 😂
Kula world is giving me super monkey ball vibes
😂😂😂😂😂
Yep I've owned Lomax before, as you say nice pixel art. Used to love playing Lemmings also back in the day on my mates Acorn Achimedes computer.
Same here, had the demo disc which had kula world
OMG! My GF picked up Kula World cheap when it was on sale back in the day & we sank so many hours in to it! It makes me feel great every time I play it now for exactly that reason.

Like that look of that Lomax game... never heard of it till now... gonna check it out!
I also remember LOMAX, but most people said 2D was "old" and dead 3D was the new shit lol
I remember all of them... Avoid the most of them except Kula World. Quite addictive!!!
I love Courier Crisis! First time I ever encounter someone talking about this game

Ahhh Dreamweb. Amazing game. I’ve covered it in a few of my Amiga episodes 😃
@@TheGebs24 did you? I must have missed them.. will have a look through your videos for them :)
Lomax reminds me of Astal on Saturn

Thank goodness for demo discs. They really help shape us didn’t they
Here's a Real hidden gem. It's called _One_ it's a 3D run and gun game. It feels like Contra, just in 3D.
Have you heard of a game called gekioh shooting King for the ps1
Someone needs to make Danger Girls 2 with you, Sarah and Jess as playable characters 😂
Ps1 in 1996 was about 3d. Ps1 in 2023 is about 2d. There are only a handful of ps1 games in 3d that hold up for me. Motor toon grand prix blew my mind when it came out, polyphonys last effort before going all gran turismo.

South East? Like Bristol way?
@@TheGebs24 I’m in woking, so closer to London.
OMG I remember Lomax! It was good game..good memories with that 👌🏽
Keep Up the Hard Work! Proud of you ❤❤❤
Thanks mate. Love ya ❤️❤️❤️
Danger Girl is awesome, my favourite game on this list. It's the first third-person game I can think of that incorporated QTE, in that era.
Nice to see some love for it Papa
Lomax is a "sequel" to Flink on the Amiga and mega drive.
I love Flink
Kula World is amazing I still play it now and again fantastic video
I got Kula world fully complete for €1 in the charity shop just before Christmas. I have nobody can stop Mr domino. And danger Girl. I never heard of the other two I must look out for them. 👍

I remember the Kula World demo very well! :)
Good times Bishop
always wanted to play that Lomax one.
I saw it at one of the Donny Gaming markets and snapped it up. It’s great
Oh there is also a PC Version of Lomax. I missed that! Thanks. The Video is so good cutted, why don't use timestamps?!
Isometric? I think you need to look what that word means because this is not an isometric game.

Eh ? … Lomax looks rather suspiciously like The Misadventures of Flink (Mega Drive / CD) … that’s not a bad thing though 🤷
(very similar graphics and physics)
The Lomax is cool 😎
awesome definitely a hidden gem or two there :)
My PS3 500gb Super Slim CECH-4303C does Play PS1 Games
Courier Crisis reminds me of Crazy Taxi, just with a bicycle and packages instead of a taxi and fares.
I appreciate girls with dogs who like video games. Don't worry, I'm old and married, but it's refreshing not to watch another hidden gems sausage fest.
Kula World is not my type.
Do you like hogs of war England playstation version?
My Mrs loves that game...there was talk of remaking that at some point a few years back.
Certainly do mate
@@TheGebs24 Have you got it?
Had the danger girl comics as I love the artist j Scott Campbell. IMO does the best spiderman. The game looks awful though
