Oh wow i can’t wait to see what your bubble frame will be!!! Linda it’s like those oval frames with the glass that looks like a bubble over it….in the early 1880’s and 1920’s they were very popular….google it…they are awesome i can only dream to find one in a second hand or garage sale!!!!

This is gorgious. Is the Elmers glue strong enouch to hold the weigth of the glas?
Thank you! So the Elmer's glue really works as a temporary hold and seal so the resin doesn't seep through. Once the resin has cured that permanently adheres the glass to the frame.

Beautiful!!! How did you spray paint the crushed glass?
I just took it out to the garage, spread it out on paper and just went back-and-forth over it let it dry for about 20 minutes, then mixed it up and gave it another coat but that Tamiya spray paint is concentrated so I think I had put a little too much on it and that’s why I went ahead and mix some of the unpainted in with it to make it a little lighter

I’m looking for some help as to why my window resin project turned cloudy in spots and clear in others? It happened on two projects now. Could it be bad resin? Temp problems from shopping? From the kitchen torch? Please HELP.
I’ve used the same resin before and all was crystal clear.
Hmm are you up north and was it in the winter? i have heard people talk about cloudy resin when they didnt warm it up.So after I am done mixing the resin it is clear was yours? If it isnt mixed properly like for example ypu dont scrape the sides and then the resin on the edges of the cup are not mixed then you scrape that resin into the project that could cause it to be cloudy. Does it look like residue in the resin , on top of the resin or just a big cloudy spot? Are you on our face book page this is a great place to ask questions.
I don’t know what the Facebook page is, I am in Chicago and it was warm out. The interesting thing is I did a big piece with glass pieces. Underneath the glass pieces it is crystal clear, but on the outside of the glass pieces, it looks rather cloudy/foggy. I wish I could take a picture to show.
I think you found the facebook page right and I commented I really dont think it has anything to do with the torch unless something was on some of the jems and it came off when you torched that area. I would think that something got into the resin in those areas so you say it was perfectly clear untill you tourched?
