Thanks, probably mention it in an update, but basically, it's on the drive, plugged in, and we'll probably take it for a short drive, but that's about it. I will be doing a video on cleaning the water tank, and that will include draining down, people might want to do that.

We both remember growing up in the 70's : 3 day weeks, power cuts and strikes. We didn't have a proper house phone but a shared line with the neighbours,... and the toilet paper was plentiful but awful!
I am 44 and got asthma. Us at work who have illnesses like asthma and diabetes etc etc have been told to take 12 weeks off work 😱. I thought it was going to be 2 weeks off, we were stunned. Like you will be doing jobs around the house and garden.
Good to see you both are ok. Our daughter brought us a journal a few Christmas's ago and that's the only way we can remember where we have been. Our first trip is in the middle of May so we are waiting to see if that is going to happen

Look at Poppy she knew you were discussing her . So, we are planting seeds , bulbs , plants etc . Take care ya all ! Yes do you remember the three day working week in the 1970,s . We only had so many hours of electric and our home was WarmAir Central Heating , so we got a Parafin heater and Primus Stove . Not so happy days eh.

Stay safe :) My friends husband in his 50's got took to hospital Tuesday with pneumonia he died today Friday , they told them he only had 2 of the symptoms of covid 19 so he did not have it , so in other words they are not testing properly. ( still worked non smoker etc)

In France, which is where I live, we’re in lockdown and many sites for motor-homers are either closed already or closing. I’d booked for the show in Peterborough so just have to wait for news from Warner’s as to what’s happening......had planned to be there with my MH. We also in New Zealand have been advised by our PM not to travel within our country unless absolutely necessary . Have parked up the Motorhome until further advised.

Then we could close the curtains and pretend we were going away like we did when we were little. We've got a holiday to Dorset, self catering, in May, that we're hoping to still go on. We can self isolate there the same as home, but have a different view. Fingers crossed. All the best.

Hi Bob, you can always do a video on your cupboards in the kitchen, toilet and bathrooms and local dog walks, got to be kept busy. No doubt the Caravan and Motorhome Club will be dishing out black marks to anyone who cancels, they are never very sympathetic with people who cancel.

Hi both, glad you are both well. We should have been away from Wednesday for 2 1/2 weeks, but cancelled Tuesday morning after seeing the request for no unnecessary travel. As we are in an at risk group we are self isolating. Camping and Caravan Club are not refunding deposits so we have amended out booking until October! Keep well P&P

We are watching the new 'War of the Worlds'. We did watch the Contagion series. It was really good. Helped me with learning Flemish a little bit...

Only thing we've got booked is a trip to the dealer first week in June for the vans habitation check and engine service for the sake of its warranty

Actually the 72 hours rule no longer applies you can cancel if you need to.
You could always sleep in the motorhome on your driveway if you get withdrawal symptoms.
