I can't say I'm an artist but I felt a same thing a few weeks ago. this looks so relaxing and fun : o i love all the shots of the mixing paints close ups and the end painting is so pretty :3 i've mostly been doing digital art in photoshop for work all the time but this makes me really want to do some traditional stuff again 🎨
When i was a kid i did my own diy paint. First i melt coloured pencils or crayons, and then i take some conditioners and put the mixted coloures in, then mix. I also put some coconut oil to make it a little oily, then its done. I was really dumb back then and i thought it would work. But it did work :) But its not so pigmented so it sucks and it smells like sh♡t if i put crayons.
Hats off to you...The way you set your camera angles is just excellent I can't explain it..I can't fully understand your effort you put into it, but to a small extent I can..you deserve millions of subscriber. ❤️❤️❤️
Your question is answered in the description :) Which method do you prefer out of the two? 🌿 The two methods each have their own pros and cons. The first method is great because the paints act more like watercolors where they can be rewet and used in the future. However there are a lot of cons. The first method requires many more supplies that aren’t supplies that one would just have laying around the house. This attributes to this method being less accessible to many who would want to go through with this method. It also requires a lot more time than the second method and the paints are less permanent since gum arabic is less archival than the Nikawa glue used in the second method. The second method is simpler to follow and is permanent (it is very archival), but the paints are more of a one-time use. I prefer the first method. Even though it takes more supplies and time, I enjoy being able to use the paints in the future with no additional prep or time constraint.
okay but when you were mulling that paint... that made me incredible calm and weirdly happy and safe and brought back memories from childhood... idk whats going on but i like that
I can't decide which is my favorite sound on here...the part with the glass pedestal crushing the dry paint powder or the glass crusher thingy spreading out the paint and pushing it all around on the sheet of glass. Awesome tingles! I can't believe how calming it is to watch someone make paint?! Thank you! God bless!

people talk all the time about "primal instincts" and it's usually about violence or sexual temptations or something, but your humanity comes with a lot of different stuff that we do without really thinking about, that we do without being told to or prompted to your average human comes pre-installed with instincts to:
Befriend

Investigate
Share knowledge
Laugh
Sing
Dance

we are chalk full of survival instincts that revolve around connecting to others (dog-shaped others, robot-shaped, sometimes even plant-shaped) and making things with our hands

Whenever the pigments got cracked.. it sounded just like my joints every time I stretch
YES EXACTLY
same
there actually not little joints and are called fascia that bind to muscle and do little tears when stretched its a good feeling and I'm high as fuck rn
@@ThePrecprec can tell
@@set5ings thanks it was nice
i've been follow your channel one and off for a couple of years now, and i always been a fan of your art skills but... this time i want to point out how amazingly your video makings skill has grown, i don't know how to put it in proper words, but this video it's like poetry... i'm so amazed and proud of you.
You know you’re good when you make paint look delicious.
13:10 there are two types of people,
-“that looks like chocolate”
-“that looks like sh*t”
I agree
Its too orange for any chocolate I've ever seen but im a party pooper (puns) so
Three types of people - it’s beans, refried beans
it kinda looks like red dirt to me lol
Cake Girl is pretty cool (OvO)
My brain: It’s paint!
My mouth: *Matcha*
lollll
Sadly for me, it’s the other way around ✋😔
Lol
Now I'm craving 🍵

This actually relaxes my soul instead of those tik tok compilations on youtube that say "relaxing tik tok art that will calm your soul"
this looks so relaxing and fun : o i love all the shots of the mixing paints close ups and the end painting is so pretty :3 i've mostly been doing digital art in photoshop for work all the time but this makes me really want to do some traditional stuff again 🎨
I recently just started painting again =)
Why did I read
"Making Paint"
As
"Making Pain"
Because you're a fellow legend and are so used to seeing videos like that that you read it that way
get some help bruh
@@breanne923 Ye I guess so lol
i read “making pant”
The more important question is if you read “Making Pain” instead of “making paint” is why you clicked onto the video
I think this is how I would describe visual asmr to be like, just visually pleasing, I almost fell asleep seeing the paint being spread
The crunch of the pigments being smashed is just mwah chefs kiss
Watching this made me feel more calm and sleepier than listening to any "insomnia" curing music 😌😊
I know this video helps a lot
i’m screaming about how nice their hands are oml
I really like these type of asmr where someone is actually making something and not just wasting stuff
My brain: Eat it! Now.
Me: No- It’s paint!
My brain: EAT ITTTTTTT!
Eat this✨
@Eijiro Kirishima maybe i did manly shark😶
@Pink BAU Panda OOOOOO ALLMIGHT REFERENCE LOL
the grinding of the pigments makes me want to eat those little heart candies that you get on valentine’s day; the sound is somewhat similar
Ok unrelated but I love your pfp it’s so cute
Wow, this is so soothing and relaxing and beautiful. Thank you. I can't even imagine how many days this had to took. Breathtaking.
The crunch is relaxing tbh. I wannna make paints nowwww but I’m brokee
Me: **exists**
This video: Hey kid ya wanna *tingle*
“ *I got some paint, just get in this van...* “
This is relaxing af and I almost fell asleep but the ads...
When i was a kid i did my own diy paint.
First i melt coloured pencils or crayons, and then i take some conditioners and put the mixted coloures in, then mix. I also put some coconut oil to make it a little oily, then its done. I was really dumb back then and i thought it would work. But it did work :)
But its not so pigmented so it sucks and it smells like sh♡t if i put crayons.

@@smilesketches Wut.
@@moveminyoonjiiswalking.9222 And it actually worked? Wow
@@ryuu_var Yep, i still do it now if i dont have paint but its difficult to crush the colour pencils and melt them, they take so frikin' longggg
You can't melt colored pencils
Hey Pearfleur, i'm currently living in London and went to see Choosing and Keeping yesterday, only 10 minutes away from where im staying, nice place
whats choosing and keeping?
@@juri7507 in the video description, it says Choosing and Keeping is the team who sent the ingredients in this video

Hats off to you...The way you set your camera angles is just excellent I can't explain it..I can't fully understand your effort you put into it, but to a small extent I can..you deserve millions of subscriber. ❤️❤️❤️
Everything about this is so beautiful. I'm actually speachless.

this was soooo satisfying to watch and listen to, thank you for making something so wonderfully relaxing and beautiful!
this and the lofi community is probably the closest thing we'll get to world peace
You have experimented with a couple ways of mixing watercolors, and I figured both ways have pros and cons but, which way do you enjoy?
Your question is answered in the description :)
Which method do you prefer out of the two?
Literally perfect timing I was just looking for something relaxing to watch before I sleep
omg same
omg where do u live? i just woke up an hour ago hehe

The way that little glass thing glides over the paint is so satisfying to me
never thought I'd be here watching someone make paint but here i am.
Crushing the pigments sounded so pleasing! :D And the video is aesthetically so beautiful.
When you grind the colours it's so satisfying
This made me want to start mulling paint 😳
This made my brain feel nice, thank you for the lovely process of making paints.
I can't decide which is my favorite sound on here...the part with the glass pedestal crushing the dry paint powder or the glass crusher thingy spreading out the paint and pushing it all around on the sheet of glass. Awesome tingles! I can't believe how calming it is to watch someone make paint?! Thank you! God bless!
Me: mom i want a guitar for Christmas
Me 3 months later: mom i want a kalimba for Christmas
Me now: mom i want to make paint like this
Me 2 days ago: mom when will i learn how to bake?
Baking is fun! If you follow a recipe and pay attention to the oven it’ll turn out fine, it’s the cleanup that’s a pain.
@@sleepybutter9549 That’s so cool! My school doesn’t teach life skills classes, and I don’t know if any other schools in my school district do. I know there was a class in my middle school that taught how to sew, do taxes, etc, but it was more of a club than a class really. Idk what happened to that by now either.

The sounds it made when you were making paint especially when you were grinding the pigment and when you were spreading out the point on the glass was so soothing (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜
