Hi everyone! Today I'm talking about one of my favorite stores ever - Choosing Keeping. I've purchased from them several times in the past, mostly to find gifts for professors I love! Hope you enjoy the speedpaint & all the experimenting as well. Thanks for watching & as always - please leave any suggestions / feedback / questions in the comments below! PS. So sorry if I mispronounced Zecchi.
I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and I’m in love with the aesthetic of this one! I might resist in opening this package if I ever get one because it’s so pretty ✨
OMG Zecchi?? It’s in my city, Florence😳😭❤️❤️❤️it’s such a pretty and kinda “old school” art store, with lots of jars containing beautiful pigments on their shelves...Feels like going back in time! I totally recommend visiting it ~
That's awesome! Sorry for the weird and ignorant question but is "Firenze" a region in Florence or is it just Florence in Italian? Just saw that on the packaging of the paint and was curious...
I know it’s hard to capture colors on camera so i appreciate you scanning in the practice paintings and stuff to show the true colors of the paints!!! Doesn’t go unnoticed!
the way you laid out the colours for the trees though is immaculate, I never would have imagined choosing the combination of colours for trees. Gave it so much depth. I literally am learning a lot about technique and colour through your speedpaints.

That little piece with the 70s palette is one of my favourite gouache landscapes you’ve ever done, only second to the Korea Town gouache studies you did years ago
I was able to actually go to the Zecchi store, talk with some of the employees and get a travel landscape palette! They have a wonderful wall with all of their pigments. I will say that some of their pans in the palette had way too much shrinkage. There’s a video from a bit ago about it on my page. But overall really nice quality of paints. Just be weary.
