Everybody's always talking about what would help the sport grow. People are probably nervous to call him out cause he’s the person on tour who rages, screams, shakes chains around when people still have to putt, etc. In my opinion it’d be miserable to play on a card with him. Rounds are long enough as they are and bring him into play it can easily add another 45 minutes to an hour
He’s a dick. He also takes this extra time On purpose imo, one, because he knows he has the energy to be out there an extra 45 minutes and two, just to shake up the rest of his card psychologically. He’s an a-hole.
@@mikebordner3820 this is one of the worst takes/opinions I have ever heard. He has issues battling anxiety and fear/freezing up. He does not do this on purpose. He even said a while ago that he literally feels like he "can't release" the putt because his anxiety is that bad. It's almost a paralyzing feeling for him. So until you personally feel this to his extent, please don't make uneducated comments on something you clearly haven't dont any research on or know anything about...
Rate of play aside, when it is as windy as it was in Waco for this tournament this seems like borderline cheating. Waiting minutes in some cases for the wind to die down while others are throwing in their 30 seconds regardless of wind is a real advantage.
This is going to be the most painful disc golf video I’ll ever watch. Edit: Simon hits the nail on the head when he talks about the negative vibe that the entire card is given after someone calls a foot/time violation.
Simon is right, I don't call this if this happens once or twice, BUT if someone is consistantly taking more than DOUBLE the amount of time they should be punished for sure. No way these delays don't affect everyone else on the card.
Paul McBeth is right the longer Nikko takes the more likely he is to miss, so all that time of everyone else he's wasting, he's also wasting his own time.
As an awful putter, there is a fine balance. I feel like I'm taking ages but I literally use 15 seconds. I had my buddy time me after old guys were complainng . Then I watched a tourney in person at my local course and wow, players use every last second for every shot. I just tell them to stfu now.
Simon couldn't have said it any better. Calling a card mate out for that shit just makes the whole vibe off and can mess with everyone's play. Putting Nikko's raging aside, I think there need to be an overall revamp of the rule to make it clearer to call and enforce.
You gotta have referees/officials that can call stuff. It shouldn’t be a player’s job to be responsible for catching everything. And they should be allowed to use video evidence too. The PGA uses tournament officials and cameras all the time so I don’t know why PDGA can’t do the same
@@williamhrivnak7345 That would require adding more staff for an event and increase their overhead for events that already run on modest profit margins. Even when the PGA has officials watching, it is still the responsibility of the other players on the card to watch and call out their opponents' on rule infractions. Not every PGA event has officials for every card either. PGA and PDGA have very similar rules in this regard. In both sports it is the responsibility of the players on the card to keep up with their opponents' scores and to watch them for violations.
@@williamhrivnak7345 If an objective official calls "fifteen" at the half-way point, that should be a good indicator of where you're at before a penalty has to take place at 31 seconds. Curious what other solutions would be, but ultimately, it's enforcement of the rule that exists.
I laugh at the idea that Nikko's inability to manage his own emotions is somehow translated as being "more passionate" than others. So Calvin isn't more passionate because he is quiet? Conrad? Sexton? They've all found a way to win more, practice better, become better players than Nikko. The list goes on and on. Because of their temperament we compare their passion? Nikko is not a role model, or a good ambassador to the sport. He is not particularly skilled relative to the field.. he is well known for his flaws and for the controversy. He is willing to have an outburst over calling others for foot faults, but intimidates his competitors into not calling him on a rule. Im not impressed by the way he carries himself.
I disagree about the skill part. Nikko is one of the best when it comes to touch shots, controlling the angle of landing and "scoots" after the landing. On top of that he has his staple flex drive plus switching between grips and putting styles like it's nothing. I can't stand listening to this dude, many times I can't even watch him BUT you need to give credits where credits are due, guy is grinding and it shows. Completly agree on the "more passionate" part tho, I pointed it out myself multiple times and Calvin is best example here, pretty much every other top pro looses it from time to time ;P
That's a thing I thought about with Kevin Jones. Dude's passionate a f and in like Skins-rounds he opens up quite a bit, but in tournament play, he's a sportsman through an through and tries not to distract card mates with his "passion" (or 2 coffees to much ^^). No dice with Nico in that regard, so I say post stuff like taht more often, so maybe he lerns from it. He will be pissed at first, but maybe somehow, some time it starts to klick... would be better for his game for sure, he could destroy most of the pros, with less energy involved in tantrums and overthinking
Ability to manage disappointment and lose with grace is, in my book, the number one skill in any sport. I'd never him on my card or my friends' cards. I'd never want to have kids or beginner disc golfers or non-disc golfers watch him play. Only thing I'd disagree with here is saying he isn't particularly skilled - he does seem to throw pretty dang good esp in the woods.
Nikko is gonna be furious, seriously lol. He was already mad about the Nikko rage compilation, he said on smashboxx he wants your address Small Bore lol
The Nikko rage video was uncalled for in my opinion. He’s *come a long way. Why was it necessary to bring up shit from 5 years ago!? As for the time issue, I agree. But pdga needs to enforce it. *edited “come a long way” Typo

Nikko has one of the worst cases of small man syndrome that I have seen. I would never call anyone for a time fault unless they flagrantly did it time after time, like Nikko. In his case, I'd make a scene every time.
If Nikko is reading these comments (and I know you are, Nikko,) just hurry up. You are literally painful to watch live, and nobody else takes as long as you do. I admire your skill and passion, and I really want to like you. However, PGA tour pros take less time over putts worth 100x the money you guys are playing for.
Not true. We only get to see their particular putt. What's not seen is the walking around the whole green read the putt, practicing their stroke, read the putt again, then finally putt..
That footage from the Memorial when Nikko called Ricky on the foot fault (which was clearly a foot fault) but no one else was paying attention to it, didnt see it and Im assuming Ricky didnt realize it (most people dont) but Nikko had liked to start a fight over it! He got really loud and exaggerating the hell out of it, basically getting pissed at the other players for not backing him. Here is some truth: Ive played for many years but at one point in life, regardless of having plenty of disc golfing buddies, my attitude had got so shitty on the course that I began to hate my own self and finally I quit the game I loved because I could no longer love myself. A couple years later after some work within, I started over with the sport. The whole reason being is, no one wants to hang around that guy whether they say it to your face or not.
Start a fight?? Lol. He was just upset/bewildered that JohnE and whoever else on the card wasn't paying enough attention to second a blatant foot fault. Rick definitely knew too. He picked up the mark almost immediately. If I were playing for cash at the top level, I'd be kinda upset in that situation too.
I’m glad to see this. I watched the Texas State Open last weekend and there were 3 times I counted where he took upwards of 90 seconds to complete a throw. And that was being pretty lenient with when I started timing in terms of when play was clear, he had the honor, etc. I’m surprised no other card members ever even warned him. I would guess they’re too afraid the monster will come out and make them pay in terms of group dynamic. He can be unbearable if he’s pissed off. There’s no shock why he’s one of the players people like to play a card with least on tour.
Even if that’s the case the monster coming out, there are rules to punish that. If that’s really the case, courtesy violations could be called. Nikko will keep acting like this unless another player gets fed up with it and actually starts calling rules. Will it happen? Only time will tell.
@@FairlyOddKid35 who gives af if he rages. There are set rules and those rules need to be followed. They need officials enforcing these rules. If he wants to rage give him a warning and if he does it again then disqualify him from the round. This type of nonsense shouldn't be tolerated.
I love Simon's take on this, because it's human. He knows the rules, but he also knows that playing the game is about the environment and other players, so it's really not a black or white call. I don't play competitively, but I play fast, knowing that sometimes I have to be patient about another group or player just to respect their style, but I would love to hear other thoughts. That's what I like so much about Simon's take: he offers to listen.
Big Jerm told him chill when he was messing with the basket, and Nate told him chill when he was yelling cursewords. These 2 have played with him other times and not called him, so it was circumstancial
I laughed at the thought of that one ... sorry Cat. I like to watch her play, but her putting definitely needs more work. She is typically the opposite of Nikko in one regard. Heard it suggested that the PDGA should have "minis" for the Pro Tour like the plastic coasters you get at resturaunts waiting for your table to be ready. It's pre loaded to 30 seconds. When you "address" your lie, you press the start timer, after 30 seconds it lights up red and vibrates. Instant violation. Takes all the guilt and responsibility off the others on the card. Course they'd have to implement a rule that you had to use that "mini" on every shot including tee shots. Doubt it'd be practical, but if every single player in the field took as long as Nikko, C-Tiers would take a week to complete the 1st round.
You’re not alone, Simon. Spectating the Preserve last year, most of us in attendance were wondering the same thing. Nikko took forever to putt during that tournament. Glad you emailed the PDGA about it!
Kind of interesting to see how in some previous situations, Nikko would call others on rules (Ricky Foot fault at Memorial and the Garrett Gurthie foot fault) but no one is willing to call Nikko on this rule.
This is my biggest issue with Nikko. I think his little outbursts are pretty funny honestly, and I think it's entertaining for the sport to have a "villain" like him. But I can't think of him as anything but a hypocrite if he's out there getting so worked up over foot faults but so consistently has time violations, even when it's filmed and there's clear and obvious proof.
It's because Nikko is quite clearly a petulant and immature young man. His outbursts and inability to control himself is completely embarrassing. Everyone who clicked on this video knows that if anyone would've called Nikko on his constant time violations, he would've blown up and threw a fucking fit. The PDGA needs to evaluate officiating on the course and start taking serious actions on the unsportsmanlike conduct from certain players.
@@mu4990 this video will help make that happen. Disc golf grew soooooo much in the last year those kinda implements are gonna happen and they need to at least on the pro circuits
Nikko is super consistent. He calls whatever he sees when he sees it, which is exactly how you are supposed to do it. It isn't his fault nobody else holds him to the same standard, that's on them. (To be clear I can't stand the guy but this argument is unreasonable)
I would hate to be on a card with Nikko ... or on any card behind his card, since he just drags it out. To me that just shows the level of disrespect that he has for others around him. For Nikko the game is all about him and only about him. This really should be on the tournament officials to call him out with warnings and penalties if need be. Do not leave that on his card mates.
This issue is actually kind of tricky because nobody at the top level wants people to start calling time, they all want enough flexibility with their routine (particularly in the really big high pressure situations) to be comfortable. They don't want to be the guy that sets the precedent of enforcing the 30 sec rule and have it come back on them in a high pressure situation. Which is understandable
@mike trenton You realize that is how golf is too? Players on each card a responsible for keeping their opponents' scores and calling them out for violations.
@@ESPGuy19 on the highest levels of golf, they do have officials and ”refs” on every hole. Ive seen several times when players either have been called on rule violations and/or asking for clarification of certain rules. They do like you say keep tabs on eachother aswell though, but they always go through an official when they wanna point something out.
Question, having just started playing for fun very recently, I am completely ignorant of tournament rules. Why arent they allowed to look at footage to decide on a call?
They don't have a film crew for every card. Usually just the lead card, chase card and one or two other cards. It wouldn't be fair to use video footage for the handful of cards when the vast majority aren't filmed
Good question. Unlike ball golf that allows for video review, I believe the PDGA doesn't allow video evidence to determine rules violations because most cards don't have video evidence to rely on. Only the top cards at the more prestigious tournaments have dedicated film crews for either live or post produced coverage. Since the vast majority of tournament rounds don't have video to rely on, it doesn't make sense to be able to use video evidence for rules violations when usually none is available. At least that's how I see it.
@@endermetal That seems....silly though doesn't it? Just because not everyone has the option, why not make use of it when it is present? Especially if there is a case where there is a disagreement about if something was a violation or not. Kind of like, "we don't have enough life jackets for everyone, so unfortunately, everyone will have to go down with the ship".
@@lordoderusI think Troy's comment summarized it better than I did: "It wouldn't be fair to use video footage for the handful of cards when the vast majority aren't filmed." I understand your point of using it if it's available, but at the end of the day, it's not available to the vast majority of cards. If video evidence could be used, then only those cards that have the privilege of being filmed can take advantage. PDGA rules state that a rules violation has to be observed and called out, and also seconded by a teammate. This rule is written with the understanding that 99% of the time there's not going to be video evidence to rely on. Again, it would just be an unfair advantage for the person calling a rules violation if they can rely on video evidence when most other competitors at the tournament do not have this same opportunity afforded them. Lastly, I have to imagine utilizing video evidence would hinder pace of play, and the PDGA has rules to try to speed up pace of play.
Did I miss something? Did Nate Sexton sign some sort of deal doing DGPT commentary and that's why he hasn't been on Jomez for the last few tournaments?
I’m not sure exactly, but I think it has more to do with Nate not being at the events in person. I know Jomez does all their commentary in house on the road, and Nate hasn’t been participating in the events per day. I dunno how the ProTour and DiscGolfNetwork have their commentary set up... but Nate just hasn’t been at the events the last few Jomez broadcasts.
This can also effect the backups that happen on courses. Some holes on recent tournaments had 30 minute backups. In football, teams call timeouts to chill a kicker so they might not make a field goal. This is basically the same. Might not be on purpose, but players have voiced how that much wait time does effect them.

A lot of people talk about the "Nikko haters", saying they're too hard on him.. But for me it's not even about the temper tantrums. It's the fact that he'll routinely take way more time than he's allotted and then call other players for foot faults, and sometimes questionable foot faults at that. Its absolute hypocrisy. Then the outbursts on top of that. It makes him seem like exactly the type of guy who'd steal weed from people he calls friends. I don't know the guy so I won't say I hate him but I certainly don't fault those who do.
It’s very important to consider if there is any back ups too.. if he is taking his time bc he will just have to wait on the next box. I understand not rushing into a shot or putt after waiting sometimes 20 mins.. just a thought
I feel as though if you called Nikko out for a time violation. He would be focused on you the entire time. Counting the 30 seconds in his head and would just wait till you took a bit longer and then call time violation on you. He just seems like the petty type of player
could it be that if he didnt think for a literal minute-two minutes he would actually putt better? with his work amount there is no way he should be missing so many of those inside the circle putts(or just outside). look at paul and ricky and eagle just for examples, all take their 10-15 seconds to focus and in the chains. idk what he gains with the minutes of wobbling the disc back and forth and then missing as it clearly isnt consistant, but then again im not nikko and havent won pro tours so who am i to say anything xD
the one at 3:40 i have no issue with as some tough throws may require a disc change or looking at a few areas. Now putting for close to a minute is insane. There is no need for it at all.
I honestly think it's annoying for Nikko to do what he does, but at the end of the day, I also commend him for taking the time he needs to execute properly. I don't think players should issue a courtesy warning to him, but I don't think it would be at all crazy for a player on his card to say "Hey Nikko, the amount of time you're taking is affecting our ability to stay in a flow as a group, can you please try to get set up quicker?" The time it takes him to like.. walk up to his shot, step off, walk up again, pinch grass to check the wind etc... that's the part he really needs to take care of.
TD reviews round footage at day’s end. Revise the target upward (maybe 45s?) and then hold the hard line. One warning, then strokes. Maybe a cap (5?) beyond which you’re excluded from the tournament. Personnel to monitor every card in real time isn’t practicable, but it’s a good rule that needs teeth.
I agree, Walter. There might not be enough personnel to enforce all cards (nor should there be), but could be for the top couple cards. They could even do it for free employing volunteers - there never seems to be a shortage of those at the big events.
Taking this long usually means you're focused on form instead of the target. Not a good way to putt. Great putters are past technique and can focus on the flight, wind, etc.
You can talk about the negative vibes all the time, but what does it for me is that Nikko has no problems calling other people on stuff, so he should be called on stuff too, regardless of his temper tantrums.
If a rule is unenforceable, it's not a rule. PDGA needs to update the rule, or make it easier for violations to be called on it, whether that means lesser violations or not. Some thoughts I had: establish a warning system. Simon mentioned that you can't really prove it unless you're carrying a stopwatch around and no one wants to do that. Give an initial warning, and on the second warning, say that a third warning and violation will include being timed, since at that point it would have been a chronic issue for the entire card. A stopwatch within UDisc or on PDGA live scoring could easily suffice. Alternatively, PDGA could lengthen the time for a violation, maybe to 60 seconds, giving leeway to players that otherwise violate the 30 seconds. Giving the chronic issue players some extra room would give players who would want to call them out on the violation a better justification in doing so: you already got extra time from PDGA themselves, so hurry up and shoot or take a penalty. At the end of the day, the awkwardness of calling a penalty will always remain, but following the rules established by the PDGA, especially at the highest level of play, should be encouraged, not discouraged. No one would let a step putt in C1 go uncalled. Not many would let an obvious foot fault slide. So why do players put up with time violations? This can be fixed.
My biggest issue is with jump putts. If you're going to jump forward, you should start farther back so that your feet do not pass the line before the disc leaves your hand. I know this would be as hard to monitor, but it would at least contain the worst offenders.
Someone needs to make a compilation of other bad ass putting pros putting from similar stances and what not as nico's putts and out it in a time frame. Like hannes or heinburg compared to Niko.
I wish other players would take their time more often, really think about what they're doing. Simon and Calvin come to mind actually. It's cool watching someone really focusing. It's 40 seconds in golf, alot of focusing is required, but in disc golf there's WAY more dynamics to consider I think. Maybe 75 seconds should be a fault, 3 faults and you loose a stroke. But make it automatic with the ref so the players don't have to say anything, or have the ability to object, so they aren't inquired by the player. idk🤷♂
I'd say, make the rule a minute. That's plenty of time to choose a disc, read the wind and all that. From the moment you first set your foot behind the mini or disc to putt. Time starts. 10 sec warning would be cool. The question is. How is it enforced?
To piggyback on Simon at the beginning, the problem is that basically all of the rules are self governing and there's a lot of professional courtesy with it. The reason it comes up with Nikko is because he's known not to return that courtesy, compounded by some "unsportsmanlike conduct" he's also known for. For how big discgolf has gotten over the past couple years, it's silly they don't have people officiating. There are people to signal for boundaries so why not. Even rec leagues for other sports have referees. Players should also be able to file a petition for review if there are complaints about rules violations, and penalty strokes added at the end of each round since you can easily get footage now and days for all big tournaments.
Well said. Personally, I don't know how they could arrange the penalty strokes being added (especially if the offender won the event!), but maybe some kind of "probation" next event? Where a rules official will literally follow around that player throughout that event?
I was thinking they could announce an unofficial winner, have a 24 hour window to file a petition, followed by a 24 hour review period, and then an official winner. It would suck to be announced the winner then have it stripped but hey, you could also just follow the rules. If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying I guess.
It’s people like this that ruin my day on a disc golf course. This sport is meant to be played with flow and speed, and these type of disc golfers back up a entire course
One or two of these are understandable. The windy tee shot and the scramble from right side on hole 12 are understandable to take a little longer, no player is gonna fault him for that... The putts are inexcusable though
Hey, I love disc golf and rarely have negative interactions on the course cuz disc golfers seem to generally be cool folks. Nikko is embarrassing, an adult shouldn't act like a petulant toddler pouting. Never gonna buy a Westside disc.

There should be a rule if you go over the entire card should tackle you like in football and you should be given a 2 stroke penalty. He’s just taking advantage of everyone and the PDGA does nothing.
Maybe there should be an "official" on each card to call things like this. Provided the card can overrule said official with unanimous vote to prevent official bias of any kind.
Agreed. There've been no shortage of volunteers on the big major events that roll through the PNW. I'm sure enough volunteer umpires can be wrangled up.
I would lose my mind playing a round with him on my card or in front of myself. Even worse when he takes so long to miss in the end. It's hard enough when there is a backup on a hole and you are stuck thinking too much.

This is a pre shot routine that's only going to change by calling it out. Shot clock timer him for an entire round, it's not fair icing the other players on the card
Ain’t a penalty if it ain’t called. More people need to understand this. All the top pros at every event go over 30 seconds multiple times in a round, especially the guys on lead card in the final round trying to win the event (not holding up any groups behind them btw). Professionals do not care about time as much as the trolls in this comment section with vendettas against Nikko do. If the pros don’t care about an ambiguous rule which can clearly be argued against due to the ambiguity in how it is written in the rule book, then the fans shouldn’t either. Disc golf should just go to pace of play measures like ball golf (which rarely result in actual stroke penalties).

Yes, but if you have constant backups, then it can be debated I believe. Backups probably arent as big of an issue at events with staggered tee times

This is going to be the most painful disc golf video I’ll ever watch.
Edit: Simon hits the nail on the head when he talks about the negative vibe that the entire card is given after someone calls a foot/time violation.
I kept it at 10 minutes to just get my point across; if I would have included them all I would have needed a few more hard drives LoL
@@SmallBoreOutlaw oof, another time violation 😅
He’s right, but it’s the disc golf equal of victim blaming. Yes it’s negative reaction, but it’s the initial action that is the problem.

@@backyardstrummer3856 the same logic I used in the OP works for most of his shots at Waco as well
Simon couldn't have said it any better.
The PGA uses tournament officials and cameras all the time so I don’t know why PDGA can’t do the same
There doesn't need to be a revamp. the rule is 30 seconds. They need officials to enforce the rules
Im not impressed by the way he carries himself.
absolute fax
Exactly

Rick and Nikko are actually really good friends off the course.
There’s no shock why he’s one of the players people like to play a card with least on tour.
the one time some one gave him a curtisey warning he RAGED big time about it
Even if that’s the case the monster coming out, there are rules to punish that. If that’s really the case, courtesy violations could be called. Nikko will keep acting like this unless another player gets fed up with it and actually starts calling rules. Will it happen? Only time will tell.

I love Simon's take on this, because it's human. He knows the rules, but he also knows that playing the game is about the environment and other players, so it's really not a black or white call. You’re not alone, Simon. Spectating the Preserve last year, most of us in attendance were wondering the same thing. Nikko took forever to putt during that tournament. Glad you emailed the PDGA about it!
I didn't know about Nikko doing this until I saw him live at the Great Lakes Open. I couldn't believe it! Each throw went on so long, it was absurd!
Rickys foot fault was blatant. Anyone who saw that should have called it.
@@mu4990 this video will help make that happen. Disc golf grew soooooo much in the last year those kinda implements are gonna happen and they need to at least on the pro circuits

@mike trenton it is, why do people continue to defend this and defend Nikko’s actions here, it’s pathetic.
@@lordoderusI think Troy's comment summarized it better than I did: "It wouldn't be fair to use video footage for the handful of cards when the vast majority aren't filmed."
I understand your point of using it if it's available, but at the end of the day, it's not available to the vast majority of cards.
Lastly, I have to imagine utilizing video evidence would hinder pace of play, and the PDGA has rules to try to speed up pace of play.
idk, they can manage to get multiple people for spotters, im sure they can find someone with a cell phone or something of the sort

Great content as usual!
Honestly, I’d be willing to have a bad round just to put a timer on nikko
it's kind of ridiculous. 30 seconds is NO time at all when you really think about it
could it be that if he didnt think for a literal minute-two minutes he would actually putt better? with his work amount there is no way he should be missing so many of those inside the circle putts(or just outside). look at paul and ricky and eagle just for examples, all take their 10-15 seconds to focus and in the chains. idk what he gains with the minutes of wobbling the disc back and forth and then missing as it clearly isnt consistant, but then again im not nikko and havent won pro tours so who am i to say anything xD
At this point it looks as bad some OCD horror stories. Its almost as if he can't control the constant inner battle during a shot.
the one at 3:40 i have no issue with as some tough throws may require a disc change or looking at a few areas. Now putting for close to a minute is insane. There is no need for it at all.
Thank you for doing this.
What feels longer?? Watching a single putt from Nikko or doing a plank for 1 minute??
pdga should get referee's for these's things it creates judges during card mates and the outcome of it could change the whole tournament.
I agree, Walter. There might not be enough personnel to enforce all cards (nor should there be), but could be for the top couple cards. They could even do it for free employing volunteers - there never seems to be a shortage of those at the big events.
If you all devoted as much time practicing as you do hating maybe you’ll be as good as Nikko one day.
Fuck off lol
I've got no problem calling these guys out everytime. It messes with my game when I have to "warm up" every hole because this guy is taking so long
Don’t let these slow players mess with your game.
Taking this long usually means you're focused on form instead of the target. Not a good way to putt. Great putters are past technique and can focus on the flight, wind, etc.
You can talk about the negative vibes all the time, but what does it for me is that Nikko has no problems calling other people on stuff, so he should be called on stuff too, regardless of his temper tantrums.
do a compilation of all of Nikko's step putt foot faults!
Absolutely hilarious when he takes a minute to line up a putt only to miss it 😂
Dude doesn't think twice about calling anything on someone else, but you know for a fact he'd be pissed if somebody called anything on him.

Ever since watching him be the guy calling footfaults on Ricky. Screw this dude!
All the bad press is justified after this
I wish other players would take their time more often, really think about what they're doing.
He takes too long I can’t watch this whole video.
It would be fun to see which top golfer takes the least amount of time. Thinking about Ron Russell who would just turn and putt very quickly!
Anthon without question
One or two of these are understandable. The windy tee shot and the scramble from right side on hole 12 are understandable to take a little longer, no player is gonna fault him for that... The putts are inexcusable though
Niko needs to work on his putting. He’s obviously not comfortable and way over thinking it. He’s one of the best just needs a head check
I’d like to see some stats on people turning off the live coverage when Nikko is up.
Hey, I love disc golf and rarely have negative interactions on the course cuz disc golfers seem to generally be cool folks. Nikko is embarrassing, an adult shouldn't act like a petulant toddler pouting. Never gonna buy a Westside disc.
That's an interesting point, Richard. I wonder if Nikko's sponsors like/dislike the negative publicity.
@@jerrybecker7910 maybe they have the mindset of any publicity is good publicity, idk
That is almost hilarious, you call some guy a toddler and you finish your point with an extremely childish remark ;P At first I thought you're joking but now I have a feeling, that you're serious.
@@chrisp9824 huh, I'm childish for not buying any Westside stuff!? This is how my childish self came to that conclusion. I watch a lot of disc golf content, I see Nikko acting dumb and think to myself "I no likey Nikko" . Westside sees Nikko acting dumb and thinks "this dude should be the face of our company". Me being childish(informed consumer) chooses to not buy Westside stuff and reward them for their poor sponsorship decisions. Tried to keep it simple and hope you can relate to my POV.
@@richardhancey8353 You don't know how contracts look, how this company operates or anything "behind the courtain" and you choose to simplify this and focus on just one aspect of their entire enterprise. I can not relate to that, sorry not sorry ;P Imagine that - one crazy season Nikko is switching sponsors 6 times, what do you do? Stop buying discs at all? This attitude brings to mind stupid console wars, fanboism or anti fanboism and everything else narrow minded. You grow your hate to one person you never talked to or probably seen with your own eyes to the point, that you choose to hate and hurt an entire group of people. Hope you can see my POV a bit here, cheers ;)
If I remember correct Nikko has called foot faults for double G and Ricky. It really killed the vibe then and double G didnt let Ricky even give a handshake for nikko after that 😂 someone should call out Nikko because those shots take a year to throw.
Wait... did DGN steal Sexton for commentary from Jomez?
The shot from 3:15 to 4:48 is very excessive. THAT should definitely have been called or the PDGA needs to step up and have this be enforced.
Like what could you be thinking for that long...
Damn....... even on Tee shots still takes 50 seconds to throw, like why
Change the rule to 45 secs as I could see how 30seconds is not enough sometimes and start actually enforcing it.
I made it through 2 throws lol.
On the shot from hole 8 I literally thought the video was looping. This dude...
Honestly it just seems like he has no respect for anyone. Passionate..I think not ...crybaby definitely. Grow up Nicole, your antics just prove what a poor sport you really are. 👎
Simon’s take is so on point.
It seems odd that you can’t use camera footage to prove a fault.
He is not the problem. It is the disc brand. A friend had one and let me try it. Big mistake. Starting raging and broke toe kicking my cart and couldn't help but to make sure everyone around was watching me.
