7 of the Best mods for an E30 BMW!!!

- Today's episode we get the e30 back on the channel and we go over the 7 best mods for a bmw E30, I have done all of these mods and have videos on almost all of them! Check out the channel if you need a video on how to do the mods!
Mod #1 is a muffler delete, with some tools you can cut off the muffler and weld a straight pipe on!! Makes the car sound so much better!!
Mod #2 is a steering wheel replacement, the stock one is very bulky and large so replace it with a smaller diameter to make the car feel smaller! Here is the link to Steering wheel hub amzn.to/34FOy7E and for the steering wheel: amzn.to/31WKWgz
Mod #3 is the steering shaft and steering rack!! This will shorten the gearing ratio of your steering wheel and lead to a tight feeling!
Mod #4 is a chassis mounted short throw shifter, this replaces the old shifter and leads to precision shifting!
Mod #5 is rims and tires, this will upgrade the look and grip of your car! I recommend 16 inch rims on the e30!
Mod #6 is coilovers, which you should spend good money on but they will be worth every penny!!
Mod #7 is the skid plate because the oilpan sits the lowest on the car you do not want to crack your oil pan!!

Wow ...surprised how good that sounds.....deep not super loud.
It sounded very good! On the top end it got a little raspy but honestly not terrible for how simple it is to do!

Best mods are all in suspension.
Get changing things if they are already knackered but the 318is has an M3 suspension setup so why change that, the skid pan isn’t a mod its needed because you lowered it.
The previous owner had removed the springs on the suspension and put really cheap lowering springs on, the struts were also blown, the bc coilovers are fully adjustable with camber and dampening so they have been a really nice mod for me, and I would still recommend a skid plate on non lowered cars, because it's still the lowest thing on the car, thanks for reaching out
cracked my skid plate 2 weeks later after installing my coilovers 😂. also what offset are your wheels?? cuz mine hit the coilovers so i ended up needing 20mm spacers
Dang man that's for sure rough, at least you had a skid plate on😂 I know a couple people who have broken a couple oil pans, not a fun day! But my wheels are 16x8 with a +20 offset!

Hey! I'm not actually sure on that, that might be what you could do, I know that the e30/z4/E36 share a lot of the same pieces that you can swap over, I would look that up and see if there are anything on the forums!

Hey Ethan! I typically use ecs tuning.com but you can also use turnermotorsport.com both companies have skid plates for e30s that will have for every engine!🙂
