I would change the thermostat, fuel filter, diff and trans fluids. Also check fuel soft lines for cracks, etc. Nice video 👍

Good E30 content, I were watching many of your videos, now I finally got my own one with M42B18, suprisingly spicy little four pot!

Great video mate! Just spent £1000 getting repairs and maintenance doing to mine, worth every penny! I’m wondering if you could do a tutorial on what all the buttons in the car do, I’m an amateur and I can’t find a video telling me a lot of the basics, I’m still getting to grips with the car! I had some guy coming up to my car window saying my fog lights were on, when i put the lever down one another person stopped me saying my lights were barely visible and when i switched to what was the apparent fog lights they told me they were fine. I’m a bit confused is all.

Thanks! And glad to hear you're pleased with the repair job, im sure it made a difference. Ah yeah the light controls in particular are a bit funny on these if you've not seen them before, I may be able to do a video on that at some point. There are two buttons next to the headlight switch for fog lights (if you have front ones equipped as well as rears). There is then a headlight adjuster below the headlight switch which is a rotary dial. Most of these don't work anymore because they're a strange hydraulic unit I believe, and they seize up over time. For the headlight switch, if you pull it out one notch it does the sidelights, and then another notch is the dipped headlights. You can then do the highbeams if you push the indicator stalk away from you. Hope that helps a bit!
