When I saw who the music was made by I had to take a second glance, because I wasn't positive it was the same Dylan I was thinking of, but it is! That made me very happy. I'm not sure if you've used his music at other times, but this is the first I've noticed. I'm a long time viewer of both you and Dylan, so it makes me quite happy to see one of my favorite makeup artists use one of my favorite musicians music. Lovely tutorial! I love to see all of the things you can create:)

You've made me addicted to my glue gun!! I've made soooo many masks since I saw your videos, all original designs! I just use my dummy head from cosmetology school and make the eyes a little wider than the dummy's! It is so much fun, thank you!
This is boss. I have been looking for a way to make a stylish, alien-esque headpiece and this is really evocative of what I was looking for. Super good job!
Also, two questions. First, do you think spirit gum or liquid latex will hold the crown to exposed skin? Second, I saw you spray painted the crown. If I wanted to make the crown the same color as what I'm going to be doing my skin up with, would you recommend maybe a layer of hairspray for stickiness and then application of the makeup that I'm doing for my skin?

Hairspray is just a cheaper alternative. It isn't as permanent, but if you're not that concerned, you can use it. It's also something that a lot of girls already have laying around the house and it works great for stopping glitter fall out for items such as fabric (usually tulle) and feathers.

Some end up in this bin (this one sadly did). But a lot of them go to friends, siblings or children I know who want to dress up or have an awesome costume prop. A lot of my DIY masks though I keep since I want to do a music video with all of them some time in the future :)

I love how the mask and the crown look together! Maybe it's a stupid question, but I can't figure it out. How do you get the mask on your face when it's all loose parts of latex? and how do you get the crown to stay put?
This is awesome! But may I know why is it that you use hairspray instead of a clear lacquer? Is there any difference?

The black head you used of which material is made? I'm trying to buy one on Amazon, but honestly I don't know if polystirene is fit or if plastic can mold whit the heat

What kind of hot glue gun do you use??? Everytime I try to make a mask or something it seems my glue just runs everywhere and wont keep it's shape really well! Please answer!!!

noooo the gluesticks are really cheap :) but there are coloured gluesticks too, they cost a bit more
