What a great tutorial! I'd seen other horn how-to stuff online, but all of them wound up too bulky. These are light-weight and have a lot of potential for different shapes, colours, etc. Plus they are inexpensive to make. Totally perfect for my faun costume. Thanks so much for this!
This version of your horns, I could actually see myself doing. I love the look and it uses things I normally have around the house. Thanks for posting! 😄
If you're going use these for Homestuck, or cosplay in general, I recommend a way to unattach the horns and re-attach them through your wig. I thought of maybe magnets or fabric snaps. I know fabric snaps are what tumblr user yaexrae does for her horns, though. These are absolutely lovely for LARPing and such, though. :)
I bet she's so confused she just innocently made a ram horn tutorial and a bunch of people who call themselves Homestucks flood in lmao I mean you'd be surprised by how many people don't know what Homestuck is RIP And also having to explain it to them when they ask "what is Homestuck?" is hell
+Petit Cerf My godfather and godmother taught me how to speak french but I'm not actually french..( On0) I'm sorry if I mislead you ((I love your name BTW))
I love horns. A lot of people do associate them with, you know, but, I just like how goats and cows have these biological weapons built right in. Its amazing to me. I just noticed that you have some beautiful finger nails Klaire! And I guarantee that every song that you use in your videos and really enjoy and look up latter on :)
This is brilliant. I have tried making ram horns using mainly wire before, and they just got too heavy. I like the wrapped bag idea. And I like the hemp string idea! Thanks for posting this. I am mid-Mardi Gras season, and I like that this could be done using materials that are cheap, and easy to come by.
Hi, i love ur videos/content (extremely helpful...thank you), tht being said id like to ask you a question, (thts if you dnt mind me asking) Do you knw the name of the music/artist & song used in ths video?? I LOVE the song, its beautiful... (it "reminds me of Cinematic Orchestra", whom i LOVE & hv been listening to since 2008... & if anyone reads this, id recommend all to take a listening to thm as well...✌🙏🙇
I attempted to follow your video over the weekend . I went to 4 stores and cannot find "Garden wire" like what you have in the video.. I opted for jute twine -- it's so heavy that they cannot be worn .. please help..
Thanks for posting this!!! I'm doing it right now. I've reached the moment to put on the golden wire but the only one that they sell here is kinda heavy... can it be replaced with something else? For example, hemp strips?
I can't express how thankful i am for this super great easy tutorial!!! i succeeded in making the horns. love u Klaire. been following u for a long time, so glad to have found ya!
I too, like many people here, and a Homestuck thinking of cosplaying Aradia. But I was wondering, would I be able to attach them to hair clips which I could then attach to a wig and make for easier, safer travel?
I couldn't find lightweight twine so my horns turned out way too heavy. Also, I think my headband isn't tight enough on my head. The horns just tilt forward or backward and fall off. I'm going to have to rethink this whole project. And Krampusnacht is in 2 days! Yikes!
Hey Klaire! Loving your tutorials, best I've found on horns! One question... I'm making some for a costume, and would like them to last a while : which technique do you think is more sturdy : the one shown on this tutorial or your other 'diy horns'? Thanks so much for sharing, you're a superstar xx
Hi! Hope you can answer my question (someone may have asked but there are 100+ comments that I'm not going to read): is that a 1 inch size plastic head band?
What a great tutorial! I'd seen other horn how-to stuff online, but all of them wound up too bulky. These are light-weight and have a lot of potential for different shapes, colours, etc. Plus they are inexpensive to make. Totally perfect for my faun costume. Thanks so much for this!
What an amazing use for old plastic bags! You would never know that's what these are made of. They look amazing!❤❤❤
Loved it! Specially that you used old shopping bags. Best recycling video ever!!!
This version of your horns, I could actually see myself doing. I love the look and it uses things I normally have around the house. Thanks for posting! 😄
These are so awesome cause they're not heavy at all!!
(Homestucks love you)
You are so talented♡...You can sing well and draw well..Also you have so relaxing voice!!
I am definitely going to use this for a future Steampunkstuck Aradia!!
SAMMMMEEEE
+Inflammable Indoxyl

aradia cosplay?

This is genius-I never would have even thought about this technique. Think I'll be trying to do this!
Awesome! I was worried that the horns I was going to make for my costume would be to heavy, thank you so much! ❤️
I bet she's so confused she just innocently made a ram horn tutorial and a bunch of people who call themselves Homestucks flood in lmao
I mean you'd be surprised by how many people don't know what Homestuck is RIP
And also having to explain it to them when they ask "what is Homestuck?" is hell
That's a really clever idea to use shopping bags to add volume not weight, keep up the excellent work!
I love all the homestucks in the comment section. Absolute perfection.
IKR XD
DO YOU LIKE THE BAND TALLYHALL???!??!
Finaly! Someone using stuff that people realy have around the house

Espectacular! Jamás me hubiera imaginado que se hacían tan fácil..
I like it when you use recycle things into craft horns! good job :-)
the moment I saw you were a cosplayer who was showing this cool stuff I subbed immediately!
Well presented video with easy to follow instructions, using things which are both cheap and available anywhere for great results. Thank you.
Best way to add some eccentric flair to my tuxedos!

This is brilliant. I have tried making ram horns using mainly wire before, and they just got too heavy. I like the wrapped bag idea. And I like the hemp string idea! Thanks for posting this. I just freaking Love Amarante :3
And you :3
I could picture you doing something like this for your real life Disney series, as malificent. That would be amazing!!
She already did a malificient makeup tutorial which is awesome btw :3
What a great use for plastic bags as well as their not recycleable xx
I attempted to follow your video over the weekend . I went to 4 stores and cannot find "Garden wire" like what you have in the video.. I opted for jute twine -- it's so heavy that they cannot be worn .. please help..
This made it so simple and easy! Thank you!
You're such a bad ass costume craft master. :)
this is so amazing! so exciting to get crafting right now! xo
Do you sell these? I littlary love ram horns
could you use just normal tweed string instead of garden wire? love your videos.
Vealm Yes you could :)
This is PERFECT for a Handmaid cosplay I'm planning!
This is sooo beautiful and inspiring !
you should do a makeup tutorial for the look at the end!
Sophia Grace I already did. It's on my other channel called klairedelysArt :)
Everyones talking about homestuck and now i feel awkward. _Jschlatt_
SAME
SAME LMAO
Im making it right now! I am using tinfoil tape instead of cling-wrap its good because it sticks, and it is moldable!
This is really helpful for my jester cosplay!
for a second there I thought I saw Aradia- **coughing and wheezing then finally dies on the spot because I’m homestuck trash**
THANK GOD! THIS SAVED MY LIFE!
Wow, that’s just stunningly
i'm here for schlatt don't know abt yall
can i use paddle wire for this, like twist a bunch together to make it stronger because its really thin or would that make it to heavy?
Thanks for posting this!!! I'm doing it right now. I've reached the moment to put on the golden wire but the only one that they sell here is kinda heavy... can it be replaced with something else? For example, hemp strips?
+Sylph S Yes, hemp string would work perfectly :)
+KlairedeLysdotcom I did it with hemp string and it worked beautifully!!! Thanks!!!
Klaire, where did you get your garden / floristry wire ? I used string instead, and it's heavvvvy ...so I really need the wire instead. Thankyou
everyone’s here for aradia and im here for smp schlatt 😔
x2
I absolutely loved this tutorial!!!
You're a saint! Thank you so much for this :D
I can't express how thankful i am for this super great easy tutorial!!! i succeeded in making the horns. love u Klaire. been following u for a long time, so glad to have found ya!
Are you spray painting on top of your carpet? These were super cool, by the way. I bet the wrapping of the twine took a long time.
+EvaValenti (ember-snow) She has a separate piece of scrap carpet for her painting and such c:
+Megz Wills Ohhh, I see. That's handy!
hello I had a question is it possible to do this with out the headband how much do the horns weight after they are finished
super clever, thank you for sharing
Great idea! Simple and effective.
this is so great! I'm gonna try this for a cosplay -Marko from the Saga comics ^ . ^
Had to scroll down WAAAY DOWN for this comment!
I was also lookig for Ram Horn DIY-videos, because of a Marko CP I'm planning! :)
glad I'm not the only one haha :D
What's the diameter/gauge of the garden/floristry wire, you used?
Hi, how long is the wire for this particular horn shape, thankyou 😊
These came out really cool! I love your diy's :-D
I think that's the most industrial looking hot glue gun I've ever seen!
bellajenna87 I use it a LOT so it has to handle some serious usage :)
KlairedelysArt yeah, such as plastic bags.
How long of a wire you used? :)
using this for a god tier aradia cosplay.. wish me luck 0_0
Can you tell me how much wire you used for this?I'm planning on making them but I don't know how much I should buy😥😥😥
In the beginning at 13 seconds you said you used an "alice band" ? Is that another name for a headband ?
Instead of random stuff on the base can I use tin foal
I too, like many people here, and a Homestuck thinking of cosplaying Aradia. But I was wondering, would I be able to attach them to hair clips which I could then attach to a wig and make for easier, safer travel?
that w9uld pr9ve a 6it m9re difficult, 6ecause 9f their weight, 6ut if y9u d9 it c9rrectly, may6e it can w9rk....
Where did you get your glue gun from? I like the case for it but haven't been able to find one like that online.
I couldn't find lightweight twine so my horns turned out way too heavy. Also, I think my headband isn't tight enough on my head. The horns just tilt forward or backward and fall off. I'm going to have to rethink this whole project. And Krampusnacht is in 2 days! Yikes!

Hi! Hope you can answer my question (someone may have asked but there are 100+ comments that I'm not going to read): is that a 1 inch size plastic head band?
I'm doing this for the Megidos :")
bit late to this, but is there anyway to hide it under the wig?
i love your everything your a true artist
