To be fair, we have never seen this type of light show in the Eurovision Grand Final, so even if he uses it the general public won't know about Melfest etc.

True we all think as eurofans but we should more think about the general audience perspective who don't follow all the pre contest at all, 180 millions of people will discover everything the D-day. One of the better songs this year, extremely good vocal performance. The song is a classic ballad, so nothing really new, but it's really a very convincing performance. And of course it's good that the French stick to French.
