When people listen to this song, either they hate it, either they LOOOVE it and get goosebumps. And I think it's a good thing for France.
It's always been like that with French entries, as polarizing as it gets, no matter what we send. And that's because of that 50/50 that we often end up between both sides of the scoreboards.
I'm so happy it's Slimane who will represent France
Slimane is my favorite contemporary french singer and i'm so happy that he's representing us and receiving so much love already from all of Europe as he deserves. Been a fan of him since his very first blind audition in The Voice France 2016, what a journey

Funny to see your comments about the song on every reaction video, it's like you were on a mission, or completly maso (to keep listenning to it) ;)
No it’s my honest opinion, Good singer but I I have doubts about the song, he has better ones, but we will see. Mabe the problem is, it’s the only song to comment on until march 2024
This song was unveiled 6 months in advance to make us appreciate it by force, under duress, under the torture of repetition. This media hype is abnormal. Basically, the signal sent is “You eat and you shut up”. Which is fishy. It's this incredible avalanche of flattering videos for a song that's way below the required level. A song that's banal, depressive, it doesn't cheer you up, not to say it's bad. I don't hear talent, emotion or performance. On an album, this song goes completely unnoticed !!!!
It was released now because France Television will not have time (and money) to release it in 2024 due to the Olympic Games
Firatly why does a song have to "cheer you up"? When did that become any measure of a song? I much prefer a song that gives me an emotional kick which this does in spades than 20 upbeat bubblegum songs any day.
And if you can't hear talent, emotion and performance here I don't think problem is with Slimane.
A very strong entry.
