While I'd love to see the raw footage, I think the format of cutting back and forth between in the moment and after game recap works really well for this kind of game. It had a friends recounting a weekend trip vibe that was really fun.
Yes, I do this a lot when I play Warhammer or D&D. Just look back on the session or game and see what went right and stuff. It feels like that only with three of my favorite Yogboys
I would love a 30 minute version of this that shows some of the fighting and intense parts but sums up the rest. It would definitely be the happy medium for me.
This is like the perfect format for miniatures games: People who know and are excited about the lore, but just having fun with it. Creative editing that gets us viewers engaged. Short and sweet descriptions of the actions with just enough dice rolls and reactions. I genuinely think this is the most fun to watch video RUclips has to offer in terms of miniatures gaming.
love the format of having the boys do a recap whilst "actual play" footage plays. I do wish it was a tad longer (TWSS). I dont think i need the full 5 hours, but 20min just left me wanting more.
I like these edits because they focus on the players and the story rather than procedure and game mechanics. They are entertaining because they showcase you guys being goofy yogs rather than crunchy rules stuff.

I liked the format. You did a great job compressing the ups and downs of an exciting combat RPG into a much shorter space. I liked the cuts back to the moments of the game, those really lifted this from 'a bunch of guys talking about an RPG experience' to 'Vicarious RPG experience'. This video was clever and I hope we see more like it.
I love this format so much! The dramatic recap makes it much easier to follow than longer-form content (although saying that, I'd probably watch a full 5 hour version too). The editing in this is fantastic, I'd love to see more even if they're infrequent

Editing was super good! This format works really well for bigger games like this, letting us enjoy all of the cool story and character moments of the game, while not being entirely bogged down by watching hours of gameplay mechanics and dice rolls that we aren't making. I'm sure I'd love to play the game myself but it would definitely be tougher to watch if it was just the unedited footage.

I almost certainly wouldn't have watched the full 5 hr game, but really liked this concise overview! I particularly enjoyed the summary of the game at the end of your play session spliced throughout. Having you guys create the roleplay story of what happened was the best part to me (and also plays to Yogscast strengths!)

I'm seeing loads of comments about feeling left out of a big in-joke, but I thought the editing did a perfect job of showing you everything that was relevant to understand and enjoy the group's recounting. would love to see more of these.
I know this shorter video was probably more entertaining than the unedited game. However, I just get the feeling of having missed out watching their excitement in retelling it. A real "You should have been there!" feeling

This video was amazing! I love the back and forth editing of the actual game and the post game chat. You do a really good job of using the lights to make them distinct, so we know which are which. I love a good tabletop game, and putting it in this kind of comprehensive video was great. I personally would totally watch a longer video, in this format or not, but this is a damn good way of condensing it all down so it reaches a wider audience

I also liked that you all told it as a sort of recap I thought that was very effective. What I would like to see in future vids is some more up close shots of your painted minis even if it’s just still pics! Great stuff guys!
I love this! Having you guys commentate what happened through the dungeon was great. Reminds me of reminiscing with friends about board games IRL. If you were ever to go back to this game or another similar game I would love to see a story/roleplaying added as a sort of campaign. But I can also see the problem in doing that considering how much work goes into these videos for the amount you get out of them.
Loved it... strange to start with but I so enjoyed it... like when your mates tell you of there adventures from another game night. I really missed your tabletop videos, the C&C rpgs and even watching you laugh when painting figures. So please I love more.

Super enjoyed the cut-down version of a longer adventure, though I'd happily watch a handful of episodes with more actual gameplay in. Nice format as is with the debrief style explanation, and the editing was fantastic. More of this would not got amiss at all!
If you're playing through the main quest, only start with the traitor guardsmen, ur-ghuls, Negavolt Cultists, and spindle drones to start. And you add more enemies as the quest goes on. Aside from that, everything seemed fine in terms of rules
Really really cool. I loved the whole atmosphere, bunch of pals playing a game and telling those great stories from it. I really enjoyed it and would love to see more. The only thing I would say is maybe put a companion video of an unedited top down camera of the game for the hard-core viewers who want to see a whole game. But honestly I'd be happy watching more like this 👍

I'd personally prefer a bit of a longer video (about 30-40 minutes or so) but the editing and pace of this was on point and very well executed. I also wouldn't mind watching the full 5 hour unedited run, but more as a background thing than a video I pay full attention to, so it's a different deal.

There's no way only 15 mins of gameplay was worth sharing no matter how good the edit was.
