    My impression of Philly dries is you spend at least as much time stopped at traffic lights as actually moving. It is also my experience driving here.

    None of this seemed to be truly "downtown." It is mostly University City & West Philly. Downtown is generally regarded as between the Delaware & Schuylkill Rivers, Fairground Ave & South St.
    And why is there a car parked/standing IN the bike lane on the South Street Bridge.

      you asked your question about 6 months ago so I'm assuming you know whatever you needed to know by now but if not - and for whoever else might want to know - the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is brick building on the right-hand side of the street here: ( ruclips.net/video/cRvr8mC5ZeE/видео.html )
      HUP starts at that corner and extends (as the car continues going) to where it meets the large glass building on the right. That glass building is the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

    i do believe that Philadelphia has more trees than any city in the world!!

    • @sylvester01ful
      @sylvester01ful 7 лет назад +6

      The founder, William Penn, referred to Philadelphia as little green country; then set up five strategically placed city parks as permanent features. Fairmount Park is the largest continuously landscaped park in the world. And Pennsylvania, itself, literally means Penn's woods. So, green is a conscious decision for city planners. At some point, the city began to just feel old, but now the greenness adds to the charm of the historical preservation so highly prized, and links the past and present like a thread.

    At 4:50 to the immediate right, is the Penn Wharton Business School that Pres. Donald Trump graduated from and speaks so proudly about.

    • @jjhlk6737
      @jjhlk6737 5 лет назад +1

      Actually that's the (relatively) new business school building that John Huntsman donated. Trump didn't go to class in that bulding.

      Just goes to show you that If your daddy has enough money, you can get into ANY school and graduate. According to one of his ex-professors at PENN, “ He(trump) was THE worst student I ever taught.” That makes sense since trump was THE WORST president in the history of this great country.
