- Back on the bike again , I have sort lost my way a bit recently for solo wildcamps but I will be back very soon with a bog standard hill camp .
On this one we start at Warrington railway station then head south along the canals.
Join us as we have no real plan and see where we end up.

Good to have you back again, Dave. Wonderful video. You rode past The Narrowboat Pirate. I follow her on RUclips. Cheers!
Thanks Dan , yes I also follow the rum wench and her narrowboat travels atb Dave 🚲⛺️👍
I hope you don't get into any trouble for exposing that 'secret' bunker! 😉 Lovely trip guys. or should I say, great pub crawl 🥴
Not at all 😂 we were only sheltering in those beer gardens lol atb Dave
A great trip, a good idea travelling along a canal, good flat route but still quiet. Thanks for sharing. Steve.
Glad you enjoyed it Steve , a good way to avoid road traffic 👍
Another great bike trip Dave, with plenty of ale supped 😎. Might have to nip over to Nantwich, looks a nice place. ATB, Chris
Thank Chris , we were just sheltering in those pubs from the rain 😂 Nantwich was very nice and well worth a trip atb Dave ⛺️🍺🚲👍
Hi Dave
Great trip on some fab tow paths
Grew up with canal walks and fishing yet no canals in Northumberland shame
Cheers Adrian
Thanks Adrian , you were in canal country down in the midlands . Nearest to me is not far from Kendal with the Lancaster canal. I love the canals 👍
Atb Dave
Superb ride out Dave. There seemed to be a nice pace - not to much of a rush. Just how we like if we're to enjoy the paths and countryside. The weather opened up but you had some nice pit stops. This wasn't peaks but pints. Tough with the willow though but a short haul and out the other side. Good going pitches and all. Mark
Thanks Mark it was an enjoyable trip but the British summer wasn’t playing ball. Still got to love the canals and towpaths. Atb Dave
@@BorderRambler A pleasure Dave. Yeah, an odd June and July. Bit weather show or not. Have a great week ahead.
Enjoying the Bikepacking videos. Nice bit of canal.
Thanks Richard , I do like the canals and having none near me isn’t good 😂
@@BorderRambler 😀Loads canals here just no mountains
Sod’s Law
Great video of the trip mate, really enjoyed looking back at it, shame about the weather cutting it short, hopefully we get lucky next time, thanks for the time you put into it filming and editing, catch you soon mate⛺️🚲👍🏻
Thanks Ian , it was glorious when we left Stafford but that bad weather was incoming fast ! Where to next on our travels ??? To the drawing board ⛺️🚲👍 atb Dave
Thank god no arm bands were needed Dave 😂 Two bodies moving the bikes were definitely a help at that tight spot 😮 Nice to see what you both got up to - lovely food and beers along the way!! 😊
Thanks Miriam, some close calls with water on this one. But thankfully stayed dryish thanks to the beer gardens lol I hope you are recovering well atb Dave 🍺🚲👍
Another top trip out mate, im liking these bikepacking trips along our canal's. Keep it up pal
Glad you like them Ant , atb Dave 🍺🚲👍
Once again you done well not to end up in the cut after seeing how bad some of them towpaths were! Great to see the canal from the boat lift to Watcroft as that's where I use to live and go picking damsons as there are a couple of trees along there. Great watch, looks like you both enjoyed it!
Cheers Lynden the law of averages we will end up in the drink one day 😱great that you could recall some of your favourite sections. It was another great trip 🍺⛺️😱👍
Now that’s the way to do a pub crawl… 🚲🍺
No we were just sheltering from the rain in those beer gardens 😂🍺🚲👍
@@BorderRambler Not blaming you one bit mate….looking forward to the next one 🚲👍
Enjoyed sharing the journey Dave. The bikes coped well with the muddy conditions. Have you thought about doing the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness by bike? Atb.
We have loads on the to do list but not enough time 😂 maybe one day but yes we would love to do it 🚲⛺️👍
Very interesting adventure Dave, I got dejavu on the first part though:) Seeing those wear marks from the ropes on the bridges was quite something. Last camp spot was a good find. I'm hoping to go out bike packing again soon but got hit by a nasty summer bug and feeling under the weather at the mo :(
Thanks Sandy , yeah I still upload on this channel as loads don’t know I have a biking channel 😂 urgh summer bug nasty , seems there is a bit about at the mo . hopefully you will be on a trip soon atb Dave 🚲👍
Hats off to you guys riding along a narrow tow path after 5 pints, leave the lycra brigade for dead.
Thanks , heavy going towpaths requires rehydration 🍺🚲👍 atb Dave
