I don't believe it will reach 5 amps-perhaps 2 or 3 at most. However, the XL6019 datasheet is clear: the minimum operating voltage is 5V. Below this threshold, the switching frequency can fluctuate, or even worse, most MOSFETs require 4V or more on gate to fully saturate. If the voltage drops below that, the IC's internal MOSFET may enter a semi-conductive state, acting as a resistor and dissipating power as heat.

If you have an input of 18,5 W (3,7V * 5A), max output with an 100% efficiency is 18,5W so at 12V A max is 1,54 A (18,5w / 12V) and at 32V A max is 0,578. How can you think of light on a 100w lamp with an available power of 18.5w? The 5 A declared are the maximum possible at the input, the output ones will be: Ao=Vi*Ai*E/Vo where i is input, o is output and E is the conversion efficiency.

what do you think about of 10W 12v bulb? Also, it is not. I was input 5.5A. This is my 3.7v to Boost convater : ruclips.net/video/8RBCki5A1HE/видео.html

Can i used this module to power my 12v fan? With the input of 7v is it fine? I hope somebody can answer this

Y la fuente de cuantos amperes es? Si tenés 3 v a 2 amperes en 12 v te va a dar menos de 500ma de salida, verdad?

The IC datasheet reccommends a minimum input voltage of 5 V. I have tested the module at 4 V and it has the same weird behaviour seen in the video. To write 3-32 volt on the module specs is cheating.

How on earth can this be classed as a 'Review' when all it is, is a demonstration without any feedback at all 🙄😒

@@homemade_101 Well, you are not the first person to post a video and call it a review. At least you did a demonstration. I have seen a lot of people on RUclips post 'Reviews' and all they do is read the description that is written on the box the item came in 🙄

    I think you are wrong.
You have to input 12-20 volt to get 5A current. It will not work if you input below 5 volt.
