Geo Metro in the driveway? A fellow man of practicality I see. I'm gonna let you in on a top secret... The first gen Honda insight is an absolute gem of a frugal fuel sipping reliable fun car. I owned a geo metro back in the day and it was great but the Honda insight is in a league of it's own.
Man I remember watching your videos before I bought my grom. I only got 1300 miles on it right now I plan on trying to break your record😂 I wish the best to you and thank you
Great story Nathan. Big respect to you covering this mileage on the little Grom. Good to hear they can do the big miles. I'm on my 3rd Grom now. Love 'em. 🙂👍
So how many tires, chains, clutches etc. did you go through? How often were you changing the oil and cleaning the spinner? How many valve adjustments and cam chains did you do? Original wheel bearings? When the engine let go, that would have been more than enough reason for me to get a GF engine at that point.
Wow that's unbelievable! I also upgraded from a Grom to a CB300RA, but did way less miles on my Grom, only about 10k miles lol. I love my CB300 too, still a single cylinder so quite similar to the Grom's "power" curve. I really hated selling my Grom as well, but needed a more powerful bike for commuting on the highway.
That's pretty cool you had that many miles on a Grom. Hondas are dependable no matter the size. They are a fun bike for a lot of people but I'll bet the 300 will be nice for you as well, should be way more comfortable. You going to video some rides? Good luck and be safe!
You did 87000 miles on a grom?! Man, that sounds like a true love letter to this motorcycle :-)

so one month later how many miles do you have now?

Yeah those are good questions. Please respond mister Nathan Deel :O
Hopefully the new owners get her to 100k! And next up for you is to get the CB300R to 87k:)

very cool, i sold my grom and got a R3. i have 23k on it so far. i plan on daily riding the R3 until the engine craps out
You gonna rebuild it?
good old Hondas they are known for lasting a really long time
Their motors are what put honda on the map
@brandonsmith3782 very true. I only ride a Hondas just because they are so reliable
That's impressive to get that many miles out of an air cooled single!
Thanks for the update!

Sad 😢 good job tho
wonder if the grom consumed oil as it creeped up in mileage, I have a 24 Grom
Time for a Chinese clone grom. Get the 150cc or get a Vader 125 and upgrade to a 190 or 212 engine.
Why would you do that?
@@J2I3Hnot get the cheap clone
whoa! that is a lot of miles, what is that about 900 bucks in gas? lol
